Hey - I'm Virginia, and I would be honored to help take care of your pet! I provide most services including walks, drop in visits, house pet sitting, boarding, and day care, and I am also happy to discuss unique options. I have a flexible, work from home schedule. I have the most experience with dogs, including veterinary clinics, formal dog training skills, and dog walking. I love cats as well, but provide only drop in visits or house sitting at this time for cats. I am comfortable with almost all kinds of dogs and can handle reactive and energetic personalities, or particular health/social needs. I will keep you well updated during the visit. We couldn’t be happier with the care provided by Virginia. This was the first time we left our 9 month puppy for almost a week and we were initially a bit nervous. Virginia instantly put us an ease - she is incredibly knowledgeable and caring towards animals so we knew our puppy was in great hands. She provided updates and photos while we were gone and we could tell our puppy was having a blast with all the walks, exercise, and mental stimulation activities Virginia did with her. We highly recommend Virginia and will absolutely use her again!

Hi! We have been pet owners for years and have had family pets ever since Ginny was born. Kittens, bunnies and of course always a couple of dogs. Ginny has always loved animals and entered University with the hopes of someday becoming a vet. She has volunteered and worked at kennels, a horse ranch, chicken and dairy farms since she was about 8 years old. Ginny is an active person who enjoys a daily run so it only makes sense that she would enjoy a K9 companion(s) at her side. Ginny is responsible and trustworthy and develops good relationships and control with animals.

Schedule
I am available most days except sundays and saturday afternoons and have a flexible schedule! So, I'll be able to keep a close eye on and give attentive care for your pet.

I care for pets by looking out on their behalf. I will ask you for information regarding their needs, fears, and favorite activities. During walks, I keep them away from other people and animals who we don't know. I ensure they are hydrated and not stressed. I also maintain a calm demeanor, and I am very proactive in making decisions for their comfort and safety.
A typical day
I personally love going on trails, and places where there are lots of fun smells. If the dog is good with dog parks I can take them there as well. For boarding or doggy day care, I have a spacious fenced backyard for them to play! I also will give free brushes, but washes are 5$!

- Primarily, does your pet have special needs or health conditions? Dogs: are they reactive, house trained, do they have separation anxiety? This knowledge helps me anticipate their needs to provide optimal care. I also love to know their cute quirks (favorite toys, activities, pets, brushing?) For boarding/day care, are they crate trained if needed? Are cats litter trained?
