I am retired and so my schedule is very flexible. I will plan my day around your pet while they are visiting to give them the attention they deserve.

Your pet will have access to my full bungalow. On nice days they can keep me company in the yard and on not so nice days, in the living room. Walks are frequent. Usually upon arrival in the morning, before lunch, mid-afternoon and again before pick-up. They may also enjoy, fetch, hide and seek, and chase. I will follow any instructions, schedule or special requests outlined by owners.

A typical day
A typical day with me will vary depending on the needs of your pet. You can expect that I will be chatting and playing with your pet or sitting together looking out the window. Dogs will go on frequent walks (4 or 5 a day). If they are in training, I am happy to do training sessions with them, following your directions. Each day will follow a routine that works best for your pet.

Pet care experience
I am retired and currently without pets. I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs of all ages. Your dog will have run of the house and a large yard to explore on leash. They will also have as many walks and cuddles as they want. I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I would look forward to spending the day with your best friend!

OK … so we’re a little nutty about our pup, but wanted to ensure Leslie knew what she was signing up for! Apparently, Maeve was an angel … settled in and enjoyed her visit. This is the first time - ever - we opted to board Maeve, and the day stay was a success … easing our minds about leaving her for two weeks. After today, we know we made the right decision with Leslie and Richard - a lovely, caring couple. Thank you!
It was our first time using the Rover app, and we couldn't have lucked out more in finding Leslie and Richard to watch our dog while we were out of town for the weekend. They were so welcoming, kind and attentive, and sent lots of photos and updates. They truly catered to our dog the whole weekend and spoiled him with extra walks and treats. You can tell they really, really love dogs and treat your fur baby like their own. I would highly recommend Leslie if you are looking for a sitter in the future, and Troika is excited for his next visit! Thank you so much for everything-you truly made our trip worry free because we knew our little buddy was in such good hands.

This was the first time my dog stayed away from me, and I was really nervous about it. Leslie made the whole experience so much easier. She sent regular updates about how he was eating, and how he was doing overall, which put my mind at ease. She also sent many pictures of him and he was very happy in all pictures. I could tell he was well cared for and comfortable. I would absolutely trust her again!
