“Sayali, thank you very much for taking such a good care of my little dude. I can tell he really enjoyed the time he spent with you all. He loved playing with your dogs 😍.”

“We frequently rebook with Angela :) Blue loves her and the whole family. She always sends photo/video updates and has been really flexible with my on/off work schedule. Would recommend Angela with no hesitation:)”

“Brittany was great! Very much appreciated the cute pictures of our dog enjoying the stay and when my dog was excited to see her on her next stay I was sure Mikka enjoyed her time too. My dog is slow to adjust to new people so it was great that Brittany was patient through it used to this behavior.”

“I was initially very nervous at the thought of leaving Nora with someone while I go to work! Nora and I met Kollin, his girlfriend, and their fur babies for a meet and great, and I was immediately reassured that they would be a great fit for Nora. Nora loves playing with their fur babies and Kollin keeps me updated with videos, photos, and messages throughout the day while she is in their care. I look forward to having them look after Nora I’m the future!”

“I'm so happy I reached out to Sandra for daycare for my 9 month old herding pup, Buddy. She responded right away and asked all the right questions. I could tell right away she was a pro at reading dogs' body language and at kindly managing the behavioral issues we've been struggling with. She offered great advice and worked with him throughout his entire stay. He even trained at her side as she worked at the market which was an invaluable experience, especially for a nervous pup at his age. You can be confident leaving your pet with Sandra knowing they are in the best hands. I look forward to them spending more time together again soon.”

“My dog, Enzo, had a great day of daycare while I was away. Alexandria was even able to make things work for me on short notice, which was very appreciated. I’ll certainly use her services again in the future.”

“Felix had a great day with Jennifer's family! At our pre-booking visit I was immediately struck by Jennifer's warm and relaxed nature, and felt confident that Felix would be well cared for. She provides a wonderful service and was professional and flexible. She sent some photos during the visit as well. I will definitely book with her again!”

“My experience with Smita was amazing! We had a 13-year-old lab that was very well taken care of. I loved the updates and pics that Smita sent me. We will contact her again, for sure. 🧡🐶”

“My dog Harley's experience with Diana has been great. He has had a great deal of separation anxiety over the past six months but he is happy when we get to her home. Diana is very affectionate with Harley, as is her young daughter. Harley is very comfortable in their home now and I know he is being loved and taken good care of. Thank you for taking such great care of Harley!”

I'm recently retired, and I need something to do. I am available at any time and I love to care for dogs of all breeds. When I walk dogs, I always have extra doggy bags with me. I love having dogs around while watching TV. I play and cuddle with them. Each dog has its own personality. I often try to teach them new things and give them doggy treats, if it's allowed. I don't feed dogs table scraps at any time.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. I begged my mom for years to get one as a child, and ever since age 10 I have had a beagle almost non-stop. Currently, I have a 2-year old beagle named Floyd whom you can see on Instagram as The_Biking_Beagle. If you live or work in downtown London, it's possible you've seen us biking to the dog park, which we do almost every day. I raised him since 2 months old, so I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. My last dog Odie was a rescue from Kentucky, and he was likely about 8-10 years old when I got him. So I love dogs of all ages-and breeds. If you think your dog would like to join us on a bike ride to the dog park, that could be arranged. Either way, I will be happy to spend time with and walk your furry friend! I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to choose my hours. Let me know when you need, and I will make time for you. I have a very friendly 2 year old beagle who gets along with almost any dog and loves to play. I also have a beautiful and very talkative cat, who has her own space if necessary, but also loves to socialize if the dog is friendly to cats. But if not, she does have her own highway of ledges and cat trees and closet space so there is no worry about her safety. I am also happy to care for your cat or dog in your home. I love to play with and spend time with animals, so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!
“My dog always enjoys spending the day with Susan. They take long walks and there's often another small dog for him to play with. Susan is reliable and I don't have to worry when my dog is at her house.”
“Thank you Alejandra for taking such great care of our pup again! It made a long day of packing and loading a moving truck less stressful knowing Ernie was somewhere safe and calm so we could focus on getting a big job done! Thanks again ☺️🐾♥️”

“This was the first time my dog stayed away from me, and I was really nervous about it. Leslie made the whole experience so much easier. She sent regular updates about how he was eating, and how he was doing overall, which put my mind at ease. She also sent many pictures of him and he was very happy in all pictures. I could tell he was well cared for and comfortable. I would absolutely trust her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - London
Anna and her family took such great care of my senior dog. With this being her first time at doggy daycare I was very nervous on how she would react but Anna did everything including sending me photo updates to ease my nerves. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again in the future.

My dog had a second day of daycare with Alexandria. When we arrived for drop-off, he did an excited little spin and couldn’t wait to go inside! At pick-up, he was happy and tired. He immediately zonked out when we got home. Alexandria is super reliable and responsive as a sitter and such a lovely person. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Smita was absolutely wonderful with our dog, especially given that it was on very short notice. She was responsive, kind, and incredibly accommodating, which immediately put us at ease. Our dog can sometimes be a little nervous at first, but Smita handled everything with such calmness and patience. It was clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. We felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in safe and loving hands. Highly recommend!

This was our first time boarding Dixie as she is very much a Covid dog. We were immediately impressed with Yoda’s kindness and professionalism. You can tell right away that she is a natural with dogs. Dixie returned home happy, and very much herself. We will continue to use Yoda moving forward.

Shayla was very accommodating of my last minute request and time change which I appreciated! She was super sweet with my anxious dog Alvin and I felt confident he was in good hands. Alvin has separation anxiety and I was relieved to hear that Shayla could stay with him the whole day. Will definitely book again.

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your London commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ON ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
