About: I specialize in caring for high-energy dogs who need more than just a walk. As the owner of a young, energetic American Labrador, Reni, I understand how important exercise, patience, enrichment, and mental stimulation are for dogs with lots of energy. Reni has taught me how to channel that energy in positive ways through training, enrichment activities, scent work, and engaging play. I’ve loved dogs my entire life and grew up with family dogs and other animals. I also have experience caring for neighbours’ pets and have developed hands-on experience with positive reinforcement and managing some dog reactivity through my own dog. I’m patient, reliable, and passionate about helping high-energy dogs feel happy, fulfilled, and well cared for. I work an 8am-4pm schedule from home, allowing for some flexibility during the day and I can largely accomodate walks before and after work and on weekends. I strive to make your time away as stress free as possible for your pet. By following their regular routine and giving them plenty of attention, affection and excercise.

“Katie was absolutely amazing with our animals. She clearly cares for animals and it was evident in our report card, photos, and the care she gave our animals. As pet sitters ourselves it is important to us that we hire the best care for our animals and Katie was nothing short of that. She accommodated our needs on minimal notice, followed instructions perfectly, arrived on time, and gave excellent pet care. We have two animals that require pills and knowing they were in Katie's care gave us peace of mind. Thanks Katie for a great service and we will def hire you for our future pet sitting needs!!!!!”

“Shacelle took wonderful care of Kai and Emmy, was very sweet and accommodating, and gave the best updates. She took some of the best photos of the ladies I’ve ever seen, haha. Highly recommend her for your next sit :)”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. I begged my mom for years to get one as a child, and ever since age 10 I have had a beagle almost non-stop. Currently, I have a 2-year old beagle named Floyd whom you can see on Instagram as The_Biking_Beagle. If you live or work in downtown London, it's possible you've seen us biking to the dog park, which we do almost every day. I raised him since 2 months old, so I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. My last dog Odie was a rescue from Kentucky, and he was likely about 8-10 years old when I got him. So I love dogs of all ages-and breeds. If you think your dog would like to join us on a bike ride to the dog park, that could be arranged. Either way, I will be happy to spend time with and walk your furry friend! I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to choose my hours. Let me know when you need, and I will make time for you. I have a very friendly 2 year old beagle who gets along with almost any dog and loves to play. I also have a beautiful and very talkative cat, who has her own space if necessary, but also loves to socialize if the dog is friendly to cats. But if not, she does have her own highway of ledges and cat trees and closet space so there is no worry about her safety. I am also happy to care for your cat or dog in your home. I love to play with and spend time with animals, so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!
“This was my first time leaving my 8 month old kitten for more than one night and I was feeling guilty about it. Joanna really made me feel better about it because I knew someone responsible was checking in. Came home to clean litter and a well fed kitty! Thanks Joanna.”

“Kylie dropped in over the weekend to check on our cat Norm. They made quick friends with him and we could tell from the check-in photos he was happy they stopped by. Saved us the cost of boarding, and we felt very comfortable letting Kylie throughout the service”

“We recently had the pleasure of entrusting Reid with the care of our beloved furry companions, Leo and Bella, during our vacation. We were impressed beyond measure with Reid's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine affection for our pets. Without a doubt, we can confidently say that Reid provided exceptional care and went above and beyond our expectations. Throughout our vacation, Reid regularly updated us with texts and photos of Leo and Bella, offering peace of mind and allowing us to stay connected with our furry friends. It was clear that Reid genuinely cared for their well-being and took the time to establish a bond with them. Upon our return, we found Leo and Bella in excellent health and spirits. They were relaxed, content, and it was evident that they had received exceptional care in our absence. We cannot express our gratitude enough to Reid for the outstanding care provided to Leo and Bella. It is genuinely challenging to find someone who treats our pets with such devotion and dedication. Reid's professionalism, reliability, and evident love for animals make them an exceptional choice for pet care services.”

“Jiale is a sweet and caring companion for pups. My dog instantly was comfortable with her and climbed right into her lap. He had so much fun with her and I felt very relaxed as an anxious dog mum that he was in good hands.”

Alex is really nice and you can tell she really cares about animals and understands them and how to care for them. She looked after my 2 cats while I was out of town and right after our meet and greet I felt comfortable knowing they would be in her care. She is thorough and detailed oriented. She sent me videos, pictures, & updates on how my cats were doing each visit, and I never felt worried about them during my trip. I will definitely request to rebook with her next time I go out of town.

Simply said, Taylor was amazing! We truly appreciated her looking after our precious feline, Juliet, while we were abroad for two weeks. She daily visits for feeding, cuddles and frequent updates and photos helped us to fully relax and enjoy our travels! She treated our home like it was hers - keeping it tidy by vacuuming, and watering my plethora of tropical plants! We came home to a peaceful oasis and a very happy cat! Thank you so much, Taylor!

Sneha took wonderful care of my cat, Nila! She was very gentle, patient, and attentive, and made sure Nila was comfortable throughout the visit. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
