Dog trainer with extra time
Hi! I’ve been a professional dog trainer for the past two years specializing in puppy socialization and service dog training. I’ve moved up to Canada for school so I’m looking for something I can do between classes. I had a senior dog who I cared for throughout the end of his life so I’m comfortable with dogs who use diapers and am strict about taking medications on time. I’d love to talk and find out if I would be a good fit!

Safety, trust & environment
For taking care of dogs in a clients home unless the yard is fully fenced and secured taking the dog out on a leash and their regular walking gear for any outside time. I don’t believe in letting dogs greet on leash so while out on walks I will avoid other dogs but will gladly let people say hi (as long as that’s cleared by the owner). I also need to know if any allergies or weight concerns as I carry treats while outside of the house to help manage any behaviour with positive reinforcement.

Jayden did a wonderful job taking care of my cat, Copper. She independently took care of him for over a week and was reliable. She handled all responsibilities with utmost care and properly secured my home locks between visits. I would definitely recommend Jayden and welcome her back to take care of Copper!
Jayden was great with walking my pup and patient while he adjusted to not being walked by me while I was away. She built a great relationship with him and was very responsive and flexible on timing!
Jayden was fantastic! I needed someone last minute and she answered so quickly, was on time and even brought her own leash to use when I couldn’t find mine. She patiently let our senior dog sniff every tree. 10/10!
Jayden went above and beyond with our pup. She was reliable, consistent, and spent time working with him on his leash skills. Whenever any issues came up while we were away, she handled them thoughtfully and found effective solutions. It was a huge bonus that she has experience with dog training and was knowledgeable about my dog’s breed. I felt completely confident leaving our pup in her care, and I will absolutely be hiring Jayden again. Highly recommend!
Incredibly kind and she was amazing with my high energy very large puppy. I highly recommend for anyone wanting someone with great communication. Her experience as a dog trainer makes her even more incredible with dogs.
I have Jayden come over during the day sometimes when i can’t get home during lunch to give Nala her meds. It’s such peace of mind knowing i have someone who she likes and who is able to get her her mid day meds. Jayden will also clean her up if she has any accidents so i know she isn’t sitting dirty all day. She also will take her out for a potty break and is very good at advocating for her space and not letting any other dogs come up to keep Nala safe as she is small and elderly and could be very easily injured by a larger dog. Would rate Jayden 11/10 if i could

Schedule
Currently I am a dog trainer and student so I have some time between classes and clients. I’d love to have a reason to take my free time to go on a walk or hike rather than scroll on my phone. If I’m watching animals I will gladly have time to stop in and play with them or if they just want to cuddle I’ll happily grab my homework and cuddle them while reading.
