Currently I am a dog trainer and student so I have some time between classes and clients. I’d love to have a reason to take my free time to go on a walk or hike rather than scroll on my phone. If I’m watching animals I will gladly have time to stop in and play with them or if they just want to cuddle I’ll happily grab my homework and cuddle them while reading.

For taking care of dogs in a clients home unless the yard is fully fenced and secured taking the dog out on a leash and their regular walking gear for any outside time. I don’t believe in letting dogs greet on leash so while out on walks I will avoid other dogs but will gladly let people say hi (as long as that’s cleared by the owner). I also need to know if any allergies or weight concerns as I carry treats while outside of the house to help manage any behaviour with positive reinforcement.

Let me know about any behaviours your dog shows, if they’re reactive, enjoy a certain store to go get a dog treat, don’t like a house in the neighbourhood, I’m happy to work with that. Also I enjoy knowing if they have any allergies as I carry treats on me and can account for what they can and cannot have!
A typical day
I love going on hikes and getting away from city traffic. I work on reactivity with a lot of my dog clients and so I enjoy providing walks that the dogs can actually enjoy and decompress. I love a good sniff walk and carry treats on me at all times for managing behaviour.

Hi! I’ve been a professional dog trainer for the past two years specializing in puppy socialization and service dog training. I’ve moved up to Canada for school so I’m looking for something I can do between classes. I had a senior dog who I cared for throughout the end of his life so I’m comfortable with dogs who use diapers and am strict about taking medications on time. I’d love to talk and find out if I would be a good fit!

I have Jayden come over during the day sometimes when i can’t get home during lunch to give Nala her meds. It’s such peace of mind knowing i have someone who she likes and who is able to get her her mid day meds. Jayden will also clean her up if she has any accidents so i know she isn’t sitting dirty all day. She also will take her out for a potty break and is very good at advocating for her space and not letting any other dogs come up to keep Nala safe as she is small and elderly and could be very easily injured by a larger dog. Would rate Jayden 11/10 if i could
We have a pretty large dog named bean who is very excitable, so it’s important for us to find a dog walker who is experienced with larger breeds. We were lucky enough to find Jayden recently and it was been such a relief to find someone who we know will keep bean safe on walks. He has already been making improvements on his pulling and excitement over seeing other dogs in just a few weeks, plus with the extra mental and physical stimulation of walks he’s been way easier to manage at home. Definitely would suggest you try out Jayden as a dog walker
Jayden is an absolutely amazing dog walker. I have a nervous dog so having anyone else walk her can be a struggle, but she absolutely thrived going on walks with Jayden. They have been working on pattern games to help when she gets spooked and Jayden has given us tips on how to implement them at home. She Is beyond comfortable with Jayden and has been slowly gaining confidence in walks since we started using Jayden
