I've been an animal lover and advocate my whole life, growing up in a house full of pets-dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles, and any other animals I could surround myself with! I worked in a pet store while in school and had the opportunity to learn about all kinds of animals, and meet and play with the animals that customers regularly brought in. Friends, family, and colleagues have consistently relied on me to look after their dogs and cats, particularly after becoming the resident dog-cat-plant-housesitter of my graduate school department over 10 years ago. I still regularly take on dog walking and animal feeding (including frogs and fish:) responsibilities, and I'm now broadening my services by joining Rover! I've taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds (Labs, Doodles, Huskies, Dachshunds), and I have several years of experience with senior dogs and cats as well. I'm comfortable and confident handling more fragile animals, as well as administering medications (I have experience with insulin, Cartrophen, and Librela injections; and oral medications and supplements). I'm happy to help with young pups and kittens too, including any training, crating, feeding routines you may have! My experience with them is only less than seniors because they grow up so fast:) I'll always respect the routines you have in place for your animals and take care of them as though they were my own. I love walking around the neighbourhood, and enjoy it even more when a sweet animal can join me! Spending time with your pet in your own home is a wonderful option that I welcome as well!
