She is wonderful! Liam loved her right away during the meet and greet. From the very first sitting, she went above and beyond. She was supposed to walk Liam and leave him at our house while we were away, but after receiving the hurricane amber alert, she immediately went to check on him and offered to take him to her home. We’re very happy to have found someone we can truly count on in town.

This was our first time booking through Rover and with Claudia. We have a trip coming up in January and needed care for our Border Collie. Today was our first daycare day and Raven loved it!!! Claudia sent me messages and videos throughout the day, which was really sweet. She’s so nice, and you can tell she truly loves the dogs and what she does. We’re looking forward to booking more daycare days and having her watch Raven while we’re on our trip. Thank you so much, Claudia!! ♥️♥️♥️

About: As a dog owner for over 4 years, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and providing a safe and loving environment. Caring for my own dog has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding each pet’s unique personality and needs. I treat every pet like family and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide pets with consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and potty breaks are already part of my routine, ensuring pets receive plenty of supervision and affection while in my care. Pets in my home are treated like part of the family. I live in a house with a secure fenced yard, giving dogs plenty of space to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a friendly 4 year old golden retriever who enjoys companionship and can be a great playmate for social dogs.

She was amazing and I’ll always come to her if I need someone to take care of Maverick. She made sure my puppy who is 5 months was introduced to the other dogs slowly and comfortably. She sent me many updates, photos and videos. I had someone cancel on me last minute and she responds right away. I’m very happy and recommend her to anyone using this app! She also has a lot of availability, flexibility, a yard and ensures the puppies needs are being met. She made sure all my questions were answered and that I was confident to put Maverick in her care!

I'm so happy I reached out to Sandra for daycare for my 9 month old herding pup, Buddy. She responded right away and asked all the right questions. I could tell right away she was a pro at reading dogs' body language and at kindly managing the behavioral issues we've been struggling with. She offered great advice and worked with him throughout his entire stay. He even trained at her side as she worked at the market which was an invaluable experience, especially for a nervous pup at his age. You can be confident leaving your pet with Sandra knowing they are in the best hands. I look forward to them spending more time together again soon.

About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I currently go to classes two times a week. Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.

Kollin was amazing with our Rosie. He sent us so many pictures and videos of Rosie playing with all the pups. He was not phased when I handed him her ear infection meds. It was amazing. What really made us realize this was going to be our Rosie haven going forward was when we got stuck out of town because if horrible wheather and were stressing out about having to rush home to pick up Rosie. I messaged Kollin and he was so chil and did not mind our changing plans half way through the reservations. It was extremely kind and we'll never forget it. When we picked up Rosie she was in good spirits and we can tell how attached she got to Kollin and his wife. It melted my heart to see. Thank you both so much for everything!

About: Hey - I'm Virginia, and I would be honored to help take care of your pet! I provide most services including walks, drop in visits, house pet sitting, boarding, and day care, and I am also happy to discuss unique options. I have a flexible, work from home schedule. I have the most experience with dogs, including veterinary clinics, formal dog training skills, and dog walking. I love cats as well, but provide only drop in visits or house sitting at this time for cats. I am comfortable with almost all kinds of dogs and can handle reactive and energetic personalities, or particular health/social needs. I will keep you well updated during the visit. Please feel free to ask any questions! I am available most days except sundays and saturday afternoons and have a flexible schedule! So, I'll be able to keep a close eye on and give attentive care for your pet. I care for pets by looking out on their behalf. I will ask you for information regarding their needs, fears, and favorite activities. During walks, I keep them away from other people and animals who we don't know. I ensure they are hydrated and not stressed. I also maintain a calm demeanor, and I am very proactive in making decisions for their comfort and safety.

About: I have over 12+ years of dog ownership experience as well as 3+ years experience in dog adoption/fostering. Taking care of other people's pets is second nature to me. As a dog owner myself, I understand that it is stressful to relinquish control of your pets care to someone else. I was caught up in the business of the 9-5 workday and stressed to find care for my dogs that was personable and affordable. I have recently lost my job and in the midst of looking for work, I decided to open up my home to some furry friends! **I am only able to provide care from 8am-6pm daily for doggy daycare** I am currently searching for my next job opportunity since being laid off. I have daily available during the work day with overnight care offered if needed. I have a fully fenced, large yard as well as two dogs of my own. The care for your dog would be directly in my home, they wouldn't be outside all day/ignored. If the weather is bad, we may just sit back and watch TV after playtime! My dogs are very friendly and playful but I do have a dachshund who is very small, therefore I can only accept dogs that are 40lbs and under.

Faye was very accommodating. She was able to take in our dog for an early morning drop off. Since we had to leave home to travel out of town for a funeral we felt confident our dog would be taken care of after meeting her. Leaving him was easier knowing she would update us throughout the day and getting picture updates made us feel he was right at home. We were also happy to hear her dog was company to ours while we were away. Faye made sure she knew his rules and routines. We would definitely recommend Faye and leave our dog with her again.

There are 266 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Ingersoll. About 88% of Ingersoll sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's leash and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalized care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ingersoll commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ON ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
