With a formal background in veterinary office administration and a lifelong love for animals, I bring both professional knowledge and a gentle, attentive touch to every pet in my care. Pet care is a flexible and rewarding focus for me. Because I manage my independent commitments right from home, your furry family members will enjoy consistent company, supervision, and plenty of personalized attention throughout the day. With structured daytime hours, a calm home routine for dogs, and dedicated time carved out for local feline visits, every guest—big or small—seamlessly receives the attentive care they deserve. My home is a cozy, smoke-free, and pet-friendly environment designed to give your pet a true 'home away from home' experience. It features a fully fenced backyard (approx. 700 sq ft, 4 to 5 feet tall) that backs safely onto neighbouring yards, making it an ideal setup for secure outdoor playtime, fresh air, and supervised sniffing sessions. Because I keep my environment intimate and calm, I limit overnight boarding to 1 dog at a time, and daytime care to a maximum of 2 dogs (standard stays up to 10 hours; extended hours past this window are accommodated with a small flat adjustment), ensuring every guest receives personalized attention. Cat drop-in visits are also available to keep local feline friends happy and cared for in their own space! (Please note that rates and services are subject to change for future bookings.)

About: As a dog owner for over 4 years, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and providing a safe and loving environment. Caring for my own dog has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding each pet’s unique personality and needs. I treat every pet like family and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide pets with consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and potty breaks are already part of my routine, ensuring pets receive plenty of supervision and affection while in my care. Pets in my home are treated like part of the family. I live in a house with a secure fenced yard, giving dogs plenty of space to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a friendly 4 year old golden retriever who enjoys companionship and can be a great playmate for social dogs.

About: Over 30 years of dog ownership and care. I am a retired Pharmacy Technician so I have lots of experience with medications and administration. Large property for exercise. Indoor area for playtime. We’ll treat your furry friend like we do our own, showering them with love, cuddles, and treats while following your dog’s specific diet requirements. I’m a retired pharmacy technician, so I’m very familiar with medications and administration. My husband works nights, so there’s always someone here to have naps with. We have over 10 acres of land, including about 8 acres of bush with walking paths. There’s a fully fenced dog run attached to the house for bathroom breaks. We have a large room dedicated to indoor play and rest, and a large, cleared outdoor area for playing fetch and water activities when the weather is nice. There’s plenty of shade for relaxing on hot days. We’ve always dreamed of running a boarding kennel or daycare. As dog owners for over 30 years, we’ve mostly had more than one dog at a time. Years ago, we even had a litter of eight Labs! Currently, we have three dogs: Jenny, a retriever mix female we helped rehome when she was 10 months old; Oscar, our 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog; and Maverick, our 4-year-old Red Retriever. We also have our grand puppy, Cooper, a 4-year-old Basset Hound, who lives in an attached apartment with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Cooper is with us when his parents work. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. We’re non-smokers and have elderly parents, one in a wheelchair, living with us. We also have a new baby in an attached apartment.

About: I would love to give my attention and care to your pet, so while your away you know they are getting all the love and care they deserve!! I have been a pet owner for many years as well as fostering. I have an open schedule which I can work with to accommodate your timeline. If you need anything extra, just ask! I will always try to make things work. I live on a farm, free from kids and other dogs. If I was giving the opportunity, I would make sure your dog would have the best experience possible!!

About: I’ve always had dogs and have also fostered dogs of all ages, so I’m comfortable caring for everything from playful puppies to senior dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to accommodate those differences. I’m comfortable giving medications, following special feeding instructions, and maintaining your dog’s usual routine as much as possible. I’m home with the dogs throughout the day, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision. I offer both daytime care and overnight stays. I have a large fenced-in yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, and I’m happy to take dogs for walks as well. I live on a quiet rural property with a large fenced-in yard and plenty of space to relax and play. I have two young children and one older dog who has previously lived happily with another dog and is accustomed to having other dogs around. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I’ll send regular photos and updates during their stay so you can see how your pup is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.
