Indoor area for playtime. We’ll treat your furry friend like we do our own, showering them with love, cuddles, and treats while following your dog’s specific diet requirements. We have over 10 acres of land, including about 8 acres of bush with walking paths. There’s a fully fenced dog run attached to the house for bathroom breaks. We have a large room dedicated to indoor play and rest, and a large, cleared outdoor area for playing fetch and water activities when the weather is nice. There’s plenty of shade for relaxing on hot days. We’ve always dreamed of running a boarding kennel or daycare. As dog owners for over 30 years, we’ve mostly had more than one dog at a time. Years ago, we even had a litter of eight Labs! Currently, we have three dogs: Jenny, a retriever mix female we helped rehome when she was 10 months old; Oscar, our 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog; and Maverick, our 4-year-old Red Retriever. We also have our grand puppy, Cooper, a 4-year-old Basset Hound, who lives in an attached apartment with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Cooper is with us when his parents work. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. We’re non-smokers and have elderly parents, one in a wheelchair, living with us. We also have a new baby in an attached apartment.

Mike took great care of Leo and sent us regular updates and pics. We got our Leo back as healthy and happy as we left him. He is active and playful which is a great sign of a good stay. Leo never lets anyone pick him up or pat him and the fact that Mike and Tao could do that even when we were there to bring him back was a statement on how comfortable he was with them. Mike has two dogs who are 4 times Leo's size and were really gentle with him and let him had his space. Mike knows how to take good care of the dogs and he took away our stress and made our travel more enjoyable because our biggest worry was no more.
