Availability
I currently work full-time as a dog groomer: (Tuesday 2pm-6pm, Wed-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 10am-6pm) so I am only available for bookings outside of these times. However, I am able to accommodate early morning/evening drop-in visits/walks on these days, and I am fully available Sunday’s and Monday’s! ***Please note: I do offer house sitting, but will not be able to stay full-time with your pet unless it is a Sunday or Monday. The other days I will have to go into work***

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety is without a doubt the most important part of our time together. I am Pet First Aid / Emergency CPR certified, and am confident in my ability to keep them safe at all times. I will follow any instructions given; ie. a specific walking route, feeding times/routines, toys/treats that are limited etc.
Information Shacelle S. would like to know about your pet
I just ask that you just provide me with a list of any health issues or dietary restrictions, medications/supplements, as well as any behavioural concerns I should be aware of prior to booking.
A typical day
If I am house-sitting I will typically ask your permission to take your pup on walks. I believe mental stimulation is one of the best ways to ensure a happy pup, and what a better way than to get some fresh air and exercise! I am energetic and enjoy “being silly” with dogs, and just genuinely having a great time. Playing fetch and tug of war are my dog’s favourite games, so I could do those for hours! Cuddle sessions are ALWAYS welcome if your pet is comfortable with it.

Pet care experience
I have been a dog groomer for 7 years, but have worked in grooming salons for 11 years. I’ve been on Rover since April of 2023 providing exceptional care to both dogs and cats. I have worked with countless different behaviours, and most breeds you can think of! I have just over a decade of experience with puppies, senior dogs and cats. I am Pet First Aid / Emergency CPR certified as of November 2023. I take pride in my work and have always had a passion for working with animals. I spent the summer of 2015 in Chiang Mai, Thailand in a Pre-Vet Medicine program, and volunteered at the Elephant Nature Park. I initially wanted to become a veterinarian, but decided grooming would be a better fit for me. I eventually joined Rover to gain experience pet sitting and dog walking. In the future I also plan to become a certified dog trainer. All-in-all I just love animals and will continue to dedicate my life to caring for them!

Shacelle also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

Shacelle S. cancelled a booking after the stay began.

Shacelle took great care of Cersei! You could tell straight away she has a beautifully calm demeanour and is so amazing with dogs. Cersei and I will 100% be using Shacelle again - thanks again!!! 🩷

Shacelle was great in taking care of my baby Tinkerbell in my absence. Looking forward to having her sit for us again.
