About: Raised on a farm caring for dogs, I’ve taken them boating and fishing, and they always enjoy taking me on long, happy walks wherever we go. I’m their thunderstorm protector and the king pin of snuggle time on every visit. I work from home and my wife is always here, so pets get constant attention. Our days start with walks and end relaxing together outside in our yard. Raised on a farm, I create a safe, calm home for overnight care. We also happily visit other homes for pet relief, keeping routines steady and stress‑free.

About: I’ve always had dogs and have also fostered dogs of all ages, so I’m comfortable caring for everything from playful puppies to senior dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to accommodate those differences. I’m comfortable giving medications, following special feeding instructions, and maintaining your dog’s usual routine as much as possible. I’m home with the dogs throughout the day, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision. I offer both daytime care and overnight stays. I have a large fenced-in yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, and I’m happy to take dogs for walks as well. I live on a quiet rural property with a large fenced-in yard and plenty of space to relax and play. I have two young children and one older dog who has previously lived happily with another dog and is accustomed to having other dogs around. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I’ll send regular photos and updates during their stay so you can see how your pup is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: As a child, my family always had a cat. I've been curious to own a dog for many years, and was finally able to as an adult. I have less than 10 years experience with dogs, about 7 years total. The first dog I cared for was a foster dog, who was in my care for a year. Shortly after that, I got a dog of my own. Both dogs were large breeds, so I am comfortable with this size, as well as smaller dogs. With both of these dogs, I also had a pet cat. Currently I have a 17 yr old cat who I adopted when he was 9 yrs old. His name is Notorious C.A.T.. 😻 He has many health concerns, and I have become used to administering meds for him. At the moment I have an extremely flexible schedule and am able to help with in-home cat or dog sitting visits, as well as dog walking. There are a few regular commitments in my schedule, and I'm happy to work around these to help bring the care and attention that your pet needs in your absence. As a temporary guardian of your pets, I would like to have an understanding of their personality and needs. If they require specific attention, then I would like to have all the detailed information shared with me no matter how simple or small, be it grooming, feeding, toileting, or walking needs, or anything else that I would need to know in order to make sure your family pet is cared for properly. Some pets take time to warm up to new people, others have anxiety or reactivity. No matter what the needs are, I will do my best to help your pet feel comfort and safe!

“Nicole took care of my dog Frankie and I couldn't have been happier with all of the updates and the care he received. Frankie is a rescue and is generally very timid so in the 4 years I've had him I've only entrusted him to really close family. Nicole took the time to understand his needs and I was so happy to hear that he had a great time and he seemed so comfortable and at ease that I'll definitely have Nicole take care of him again. I couldn't recommend her more to anyone, she was super responsive to my texts as well as sending me updates to let me know he was eating OK and that he was adjusting well which was such a relief to me.”

About: I'm new to Rover, but I've been a dog parent for over 35 years and have been dog sitting for my family and friends as long. Saffy, my Golden/Lab cross is 4, and Ruby, my terrier mix is 13 now. We walk daily with two Golden Doodles, Cosmo and Milo, who we consider part of our pack. My dogs are great with other dogs big or small. Our yard is fenced, and we're next to woods that have great trails with lots to sniff! My dogs are accustomed to a daily routine and can tell time. We walk once or twice daily, they have their breakfast after their morning pee, dinner at 6pm, and a snack after the last pee before bed. They hang out with me or nap during the day and we have playtime after dinner. My dogs have free access to the house and back yard. Ruby has a doggy door and Saffy uses a doggy doorbell to be let in or out. They typically hang out with me but each have their favourite napping spots. Both of my dogs were crate trained and while we don't use them anymore, I do have them available if needed. New doggie guests are closely supervised until we all get to know one another!

“Alejandra rescued us last minute and took incredible care of our senior dog Maggie for a whole week!! We set up a last minute meet and greet, and our Maggie got along with Alejandra's beautiful dog Moka, and we were so relieved to know that we were leaving our special girl in compassionate and capable hands. It was clear from the beginning that Alejandra loves dogs and was up to the task of looking after our large breed, senior dog with some special needs. Her back yard and house are lovely and welcoming, and she communicated with us often through messages and photos/videos about Maggie (getting settled in, eating and walking, and playing with her new furry friend Moka.) I trusted Alejandra immediately, and knew that if Maggie needed any extra care, that she was right there to notice and communicate. About: I’ve been relied on to watch and train since I was a child. I handle large and small breeds I love them all. I’ve watched up to four dogs at once including a brand new puppy and I’ve volunteered at a breeders house for a few months! I am currently going to school but I have most days off and am able to watch your pups after classes too! My house is clean so there is no worrying about if your dog can get into anything they shouldn’t but they will be occupied either way I have a fenced yard, your dog will be free to roam the house and backyard! Depending on the service needed I’m happy to go on high energy walks or spend some time getting exercise in the backyard at home, even if your pup likes to just chill with some company I’m happy to do that too
