About: We have many years of experience caring for dogs and have been lifelong dog owners. Our cherished dog, Peanut, was with us for 16 wonderful years before passing away in 2020. We are currently the proud owners of Ocean, a 5-year-old rescue who brings great joy to our family. Over the years, we have provided boarding services for numerous dogs, primarily while their families are away on vacation. We treat every dog in our care with the same love and attention we give our own pets—like a true member of the family. In addition to boarding, we have fostered several dogs through a local rescue organization, offering them a safe and nurturing home while they await permanent placement. Our entire family, including Ocean and our two daughters, has a deep love for dogs. We always feel a sense of loss when it's time for them to return to their families. We strive to create a calm, welcoming environment that helps ease the transition for dogs in our care—and Ocean plays a big role in helping them feel at home. I work from home full-time, five days a week, while my wife works from home one day each week. Our dog is taken on walks at least three times daily, and visiting dogs receive the same level of care and attention. Dogs are free to roam throughout our home, with a baby gate installed at the front entrance to ensure safety—particularly for those who may be flight risks. With a dog of our own and two young daughters, our home has been thoroughly dog-proofed to create a safe, secure environment. Dogs are welcome to relax wherever they feel comfortable, whether that's exploring the house or resting beside me in my home office during the workday. Our home is a two-level residence equipped with a baby gate at the top of the stairs for added safety. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and beds, though we always respect and adhere to any specific rules or preferences provided by their owners. We have a fully fenced backyard, featuring a secure double gate on one side and a locking gate on the other, ensuring a safe outdoor space for the dogs to explore. Additionally, our large, covered sundeck—also gated—offers an enclosed area upstairs where dogs can roam and relax comfortably.
