About: ** Specializes in care for small to medium sized dogs from puppy to senior stages. Only accepts ONE family at a time. ** I've had different types of pets in my lifetime. From dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, a turtle, you name it! I'm currently a dog mom to the sweetest Boston Terrier named Zoë! She doesn't bite, rarely barks, and enjoys playing with other dogs! As a dog owner myself, I understand the stress you may have leaving a loved one in someone else's care. I promise to give each pet my love, attention, and care - similar to what I would wish for Zoe if the situation were to be reversed. 🫶🏼 I work from home Monday to Friday. I'm able to make time for your pet whether they need to go for a walk, need to be fed, or just need extra attention and cuddles! 🥰 I live in a house with a fenced yard. I also have access to a car 24/7. I only accept one family at a time because your dog's safety and personalized care and attention is what matters to me most. I want this to be a second home for your pet; a space that is safe, comfortable, and full of love.

“Janelle is the best! She takes such good care of our girls while we were away! And the girls love her too - she even gets are more timid cat to be her friend. We are so thankful to Janelle and the care she gives. I’d give her a 10 star rating if I could !”

About: I've had pets (dogs and cats) since I was 5 years old. So that's over 50 years of loving and living with my fur babies. I currently have two dogs - one 11 year old Pomeranian mix and a 3 year old Bichon Frisée mix. I volunteer at the Burlington Humane Society in the cat area doing cleaning and maintenance. Also, I have gotten my older dog certified as a therapy dog and together we visit a dementia clinic once a week. It is enrichening to all - the patients, my dog and myself. I work part time from home which gives me more spare time to spend with as many animals as possible since I find it enjoyable and very rewarding. Since we have two dogs I understand the need to balance exercise and rest as to not overstimulated the dogs. I will be with your dog during feeding time to properly monitor their food and water intake and ensure that they are well fed and comfortable. When out on walks your dog will be leashed at all times (with NO exceptions). Also, we will not take your dog to any dog parks. Any play time with toys will be supervised to ensure safety - e.i. Toys are not chewed and eaten The more information that you are able to provide the better as that will enable me to properly care for your dog. Some pet parents like to provide a written copy of all their dog’s information which is very useful to have as an easy reference. This is not mandatory as long as your dog’s profile on Rover is as updated as possible. I work part time from home and have a lot of spare time to play and care for your fur baby. I would be available during the day for walks and my home would be open to care for your pet anytime during the week. My husband and I live in a condo unit and although we have no back yard we walk our dogs at least 3 times a day around the neighborhood. There are many walking paths in my area and we are very close to Bronte Park. We have two small dogs (male 11 years old Pomeranian mix and female 3 year old Bichon Frisée mix) so your dog would have playmates during his/her stay.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbours, colleagues, and family members dogs for over 10 years. I’ve also volunteered at the local humaine society spending time dog walking! I’m currently working part time from home and have flexibility to spend time with and play with pets during the day and during the evenings! I care for pets in clients homes and follow instructions well. I take great care and time to ensure any specifications, or requirements are met to ensure the safety, comfort, and happiness of your pet!

About: Hi friends! With my experience working in a vet clinic as an animal care assistant, volunteering for both dogs and cats at the Burlington humane society, and currently working part-time as a dog daycare attendant (your dog can join me!) with a CPD accreditation in working with dogs as well as dog first aid and CPR, I can ensure my care is reliable, safe and trusting. I’ve had pets of all kinds since I was little and have cared for many different breeds of dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments since the age of 15 professionally as well as just for fun! I have two pets of my own; Arlo, my energetic doggy and Louis, my timid cat. Whether your pet needs a playful day of care, a calm and gentle companion while you’re away, or a stimulating and fun walk, I’m here to provide a safe, loving, and personalized experience, just like I would want for my own furry family members! As a part-time dog daycare attendant and a pet parent myself, I have a flexible schedule that allows me take time off to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the week. Additionally, living with my two parents who are lifelong animal lovers, as well as owning a friendly and playful dog and calm kitty ensures that your family member(s) will always have company, and never be alone! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and detailed attention at every step. I take time to understand each animal’s routine, needs, and personality, and I always follow care instructions closely.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of my own since I was a child and have lots of experience with dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’ve administered medication and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I‘m happy to care for your furry family member when you can’t be there. I am a stay at home mom available most Mondays through Fridays from about 10am-3pm. I may also be available occasionally on evenings and weekends. I have the most respect for other people’s homes and will make sure I am careful any time I enter it, to do whatever tasks you request such as providing your pet with water, treats, or belly rubs!
