“Lori went above and beyond!. She came over ahead of time to meet our dogs and spent an hour with us to let them get comfortable with her. One of our guys has severe stranger anxiety, and even though he never warmed up to her, she never stopped trying. She got along great with our other two guys, gave them lots of love and sent us pictures while we were gone. She left the house clean, washed the sheets on the bed and did many things that we said were okay to just leave alone. We would definitely ask Lori back, if she would come back for us!”

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication. I work from home with a lot of flexibility so with proper planning and coordination I can be there to meet you and your furry friends’ needs. I have a fenced yard and a dog who doesn’t mind the company of other well socialized animals. We do have a cat and small child so please consider that before booking. If staying at your home, I will treat it just as my own with respect and consideration for you and your family and your privacy.
