“Bernard & Hung were very easy to work with and Hung took great care of our dogs. The house was easy to get to and drop off & pickup went smoothly. They also allowed a late night pick-up after an evening closing out Disneyland… which was very appreciated! We will definitely keep them on our short list for future Disneyland days. Only small issue was a language barrier. It seems Hung doesn’t speak English, but it works because Bernard makes all the arrangements.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up, and we had 2 dogs and 2 cats for many years until I went to law school out of state. I raised my 3.5 year old shih tzu since she was 10 weeks old and she’s the happiest, cuddliest and energetic dog ever! My friends have taken care of her and I’ve reciprocated by taking care of their pets when out of town, and I’d love to help the Rover community as well! I work from home as a tech lawyer and have a flexible schedule so I often go on 30-40 minute walks with my dog Miso twice a day. “Derek is a great caregiver. We had him watch our 5 month old Maltipoo for a day while the family spent the day at Disneyland. He sent us videos and pictures throughout the day of the walks and playful moments. You can tell that Derek really loves dogs and treats them as if it were his own. We reached out to multiple potential caregivers on Rover prior to deciding on Derek. One of the things I really liked about Derek prior to meeting him was that he was the only one that proactively suggested having a meet and greet to make sure it was a good fit for both parties. That really gave me a good impression from the start and it turned out to be the right decision!”

I lost my 5 year-old dog this year due to unfortunate circumstances, so I would be privileged to be able to spend some time with your beloved pup 🐾❤️ I work remotely (part time right now) so I have a lot of flexibility during the weekdays! I love incorporating pup care into my everyday routine to make sure both of us are happy and active daily. Being attentive is the most important thing when caring for dogs. Especially as someone outside of their family, it is extremely important to build trust and make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable sharing how they feel!
