About: I had a multiple dogs growing up, one who is 11 years old now, and also just became a new Fur Mom to an 8 month old golden retriever (who has put me through the wringer so far). I am an animal lover and just want to be helpful since I use rover myself for sitters, and i figured I’d be just as helpful as the many sitters on here have been for me!! I work full time but that is just 3 days a week, so any other day I am available most of the day to accommodate your fur babies! My schedule does change every week though I live in an apartment complex but have access to a dog park within the complex and will be able to take your pups to local dog parks as well

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was a kid. Grew up with several different pets in the home. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles you name it! I’ve also fostered and done pet sitting over the years so have experience with animals of all ages and ones that may need some extra loving or medical needs. I am currently working 3 days and week with long weekends available for pet sitting, drop ins, and walks. I have an extra crate if needed. Friday-Monday I am home to spend all the time with your pet! I currently have one dog in the home. He is a very LARGE dog (Great Dane) but very gentle and friendly to all pets and people he meets. I am home all day from Friday-Monday to give you pet all the attention they need. Small fenced in yard and take walks regularly. All pets will be treated with love to make them feel as comfortable as possible while their pet parents are away.

About: I have cared for family and friends pets since I was 14 years old. Combined with my love for animals and attention to detail, my skill set has helped to create a special experience for each pets needs. From energetic dogs needing more patience and structure to senior pets who need a little more tend love and care! I am currently working full-time, 7am-2:30pm (M-F). However, on weekends and afternoons I am free to devote my time to caring for your pets. I don't work summers which allows me the flexibility to provide the best care needed to each of your fur pups. When caring for my own and other pets safety and trust is a top priority. Each pet is different however I still make it my business to make sure pets and parents of pets feel comfortable by catering to their specific needs in and out of my home. In my own home, I make sure the environment is free from anything that can be toxic to animals such as exposed wire, toxic plants, or foods. I maintain consistency with pet schedules to ensure each animal feels comfortable. I have a large backyard that is partially fenced in so pets can get regular exercise. I also have one mini poodle that goes by Karter, if it meets the pets needs Karter is great company to keep to promote interaction and stimulation throughout the day.

About: I love dogs and have volunteered at the local shelter for the past 6 years...walking, feeding, cleaning cages of dogs and cats. I have owned several dogs over the years...all rescues and mixed bully breeds. I am currently retired so I have plenty of time to spend time taking care of your fur-babies. My home is pet friendly and I enjoy taking your pet for walks. I have a fenced yard. I can easily crate your dog if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in my bed. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and there are several walking paths in my neighborhood.

I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, including basic puppy training (potty training, leash skills, and routines) and gentle, attentive care for older dogs who may need medication, slower walks, or extra comfort. I’m reliable, patient, and communicate regularly with updates, so owners feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a part-time teacher. During the school year, I’m available before and after school hours, as well as weekends, allowing me to provide consistent walks, feedings, and check-ins. In the summer, I have full availability, which means I can offer more flexible scheduling, extended stays, and extra attention for pets who need it. My schedule allows me to be dependable and attentive while giving pets the time and care they deserve. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I currently have no dogs or cats, only a bearded dragon, so my space is quiet and low-stress for visiting pets. In my home, I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—while giving them plenty of attention and comfort. In a client’s home, I make sure to maintain their pet’s normal routine to reduce stress, including feeding, exercise, and any special care like medications or senior support. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I grew up in a house full of big dogs, and have cared for small dogs as well for pets of all shapes and sizes for family, friends, and coworkers. I am a dog mom for a sweet girl I’ve had since October 2022, when she was 8 weeks old. I work a 9-5 but am available to spend meaningful time with your beloved pet before I leave for work, and will be so happy to come home to your furry friend after a day in the human world. It’s your home and your rules that your pup knows and follows already. I think their routine is important to keep to, so what you do I will try my best to do. If they sleep in bed, then I’m all in for cuddles, if they’re kennel trained then I respect the decision to give them their space to relax and decompress.

This was the first time we used Rover and the first time we left our puppy in the care of someone else. “Troy and Shalah were wonderful with my fur babies. I have 3 rescue babies. (1 dog and two cats). They are adjusting and not used to new people. They made Lulu ( my dog) feel comfortable and she enjoyed her outings with them. My cats are still a bit untrusting, but they appreciated the care as they ate well and were comfy in their area. I definitely would contact Troy and Shalah again. They pay attention to detail and were so very professional and caring with my pets! I treat any pet in our home as if it is our own. The dogs I’ve cared for in our feel comfortable because of the interaction between my husband, my son, and myself. We thoroughly enjoy dogs in our home and so does Cooper, our 5 year old dog.
