About: I grew up in a house full of big dogs, and have cared for small dogs as well for pets of all shapes and sizes for family, friends, and coworkers. I am a dog mom for a sweet girl I’ve had since October 2022, when she was 8 weeks old. I work a 9-5 but am available to spend meaningful time with your beloved pet before I leave for work, and will be so happy to come home to your furry friend after a day in the human world. It’s your home and your rules that your pup knows and follows already. I think their routine is important to keep to, so what you do I will try my best to do. If they sleep in bed, then I’m all in for cuddles, if they’re kennel trained then I respect the decision to give them their space to relax and decompress.
About: Hi! I’m a veterinary technician with 15 years experience working in Animal hospitals. I have a big heart for animals and I've been pet sitting for a few regulars for over 20 years. I’m so excited to start pet sitting on Rover. I've also fostered dogs for a rescue and currently work part-time as a vet tech for a rescue. Caring for pets isn’t just my job — it’s truly what I love to do every day. Working in veterinary medicine has given me experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Whether your furry family member needs medications, extra patience, or just lots of cuddles and playtime, I’m comfortable and confident providing safe, attentive care. I’m especially tuned in to reading body language and recognizing when something might be off, so your pet’s health and happiness are always my top priority. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat them like one of my own. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, and reassurance while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your sweet pets! 🐾 I currently work for the school district transporting special needs children which gives me more free time during the day and summers. I also work part-time as a vet tech for an animal rescue. Before caring for your pet, I love learning as much as possible about them so I can give them the best, most personalized care! Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, energy level, and any little quirks that make them unique. It’s also very important that I’m aware of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, past injuries, or behavioral concerns (like anxiety, reactivity, or escape tendencies). As a vet tech, I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring health concerns — I just like to be fully prepared ahead of time.

“Amber traveled to check in on our feline babies and it was much appreciated! We had to go out of town on pretty short notice for an ailing family member and it was great getting updates during each visit to know our family at home was safe.”

About: I’ve cared for cats, dogs, and birds for many years and genuinely love being around animals. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior, care, exercise needs, and routines, and I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a doctoral physical therapy student, I’m patient, responsible, attentive, and detail-oriented. I understand the importance of consistency, safety, and compassionate care, and I treat every pet like family. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life since I have two dogs and a bird of my own. I’m currently in graduate school pursuing my doctorate in physical therapy, so I’m very organized with my schedule. I’m in school Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until about 1 p.m., and I’m available afterward on those days. I also have open availability on the rest of the week and can be flexible to work around clients’ schedules. Since I’m active and into fitness and health, I enjoy dog walking, outdoor time, and making sure pets stay active, happy, and well cared for. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I respect their routines, instructions, and environment to help pets feel secure and stress-free. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and behavior changes. I’m experienced with dogs, cats, and birds, and I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level. Whether I’m dog walking or providing drop-in visits, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, patience, affection, and safe care at all times. As a physical therapy student, I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and dependable, which helps me provide attentive and compassionate care.

Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply extra cuddles, I will treat them like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I currently have a very flexible schedule throughout the summer. I am available all day on weekdays and am also available on weekends with advance notice. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship for your pets. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets, and I am committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I also have a dog park nearby and live in a safe, walkable neighborhood that is perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. I will always follow your pet’s routine and any care instructions you provide to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while in my home.
“Michael is the best! Our dog loves him and is always very happy when we come home. Michael helped us out in a pinch when we needed someone to drop in on our dog last minute. He’s quick to respond and very responsible. I’d recommend him to anyone. 10/10”

About: Having a small tiny dog(chihuahua) of my own, I've learned to be creative with the activities that we do as well as find different places to take her for walks. My dog is very temperamental, so I've had to increase my own training skills to be able to be a better pet mom. I'm open to trying new things and I'm great at following instructions. “Mykelle did a wonderful job watching our puppy (walking, feeding and administering medication) when we were away for a long weekend. When I first contacted her, she was extremely responsive and we had a meet and greet right away to confirm the dog sitting job. Our puppy Cora really liked her too. I really appreciated all the updates and pictures and excellent communication. Mykelle completely put me at ease as this was the first time that we had been away from our puppy. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

Bristol dog parents share their Rover experiences
We asked Troy and Shalah last minute (within a few hours, same day!) to check in on our pup as our travel plans were delayed. They responded immediately and were able to accommodate. They also updated us on some allergies we’ve been trying to track for our pup, so we were aware. Appreciate it!

Daniel did ABSOLUTELY amazing !!! He was so attentive & kept me updated throughout the week. I was so worried as this was the first time I’ve left my dogs for more than a night and he made me feel totally at ease. My dogs also adored him. Would definitely rebook!!

Suzie was amazing! Great communication while booking and during visits. I had a cancellation last minute and she stepped in and made this whole process so easy asking all the right questions to make sure she cared for my pup the same way I would. Highly recommend 10/10
