About: I've been raising service dogs for Canine Companions since 2016! I have experience with puppies aged 2 months and up. I've been best friends with a GSD for the past almost 5 years! I'm very patient and understanding with anxious and stressed dogs due to my experience with my pup. I'm currently full availble for the summer, but will be a full time student starting in early August. I've got classes all day Mondays and Wednesdays, and I host studio hours on Saturdays. I'm very comfortable with crating dogs and walking high energy dogs. My dog is a runner and tries to escape, so I'm very familiar with keeping a close eye on dogs that are a little too excited!

About: I have been taking care of pets for a long time. I have had my own pets since I was young and have been taking care of other peoples’ pets for around five years. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and fish. I have a fairly open schedule and can make sure your pet is getting the care and attention that they need to be happy and healthy. I will make sure your pet is thoroughly cared for by following your pets’ routines and by providing food, water, and activity. I will also provide constant communication with you about your pet.

About: My dog at home, her name is Blue and we go on lots of walks and adventures together. I'll show up and me and your dog will have a great time going for a walk and I'll make sure your pet is well cared for just my dog. I used to work in a pet adoption center cleaning dog kennels and walking dogs getting them adopted to their forever homes. I'm currently I'm only available Saturday and Sunday because working as a custodian full time at Cal Poly Humboldt for the summer. I'm a student hoping to be an art teacher so when school starts up I can be available Fridays as well. I care for dogs at the clients home and I do exactly as the clients direct me to play with their dog. The same goes for taking dogs for walks.

About: Traveling to Arcata for 10 weeks and happy to cat sit! There's something about cats and small dogs that just resonate. I have lived with cats, pigeons, parakeets, a pittie mix, and 2 small dogs in my home, and immediately adopted my own cat once I moved out. That being said, I vibe the strongest with cat energy (chihuahuas and other small dogs are also cats, believe me). I've been pet sitting across multiple platforms since I was 15 (now 31). If your pet is looking for a friend with a cozy vibe, I'm their gal :) I spend most of my time writing and making art at home, so we will have have plenty of time to bond. I will make sure they feel like someone loving and safe is still around while you are on your trip away. Excepting the other Rover sits, I work on a contract and freelance schedule, so my schedule is relatively flexible. Shoot me a message and let's see if we can make it work. I tend to bond easily with animals since my priority is keeping each pet comfortable in their own routine and home. “Bailey is truly a gem! She cared for our two reactive, mostly untrained dogs and our cat over a weekend away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience—especially as first-time Rover users. She walked the dogs daily, sent us regular photo updates, and made us feel so at ease while we were gone. On her second stay, we had some unexpected behavior issues with one of our rescue dogs, who managed to dart out the door (not her fault at all—he’s a handful!). Bailey stayed longer than expected to make sure everything was under control before she left. Her calm, caring presence and quick communication gave us so much peace of mind. She is incredibly responsible, responsive, and clearly loves animals. We’ll be booking Bailey every time she’s available. I would give a million stars if the app allowed it! About: I have taken care of pets specifically dogs for a majority of my life. Housesitting and walking dogs for both family friends and neighbors. I enjoy spending time with dogs and having the responsibility of caring for an animal. I currently work Monday-Thursdays from 11 am - 5pm but am available anytime before 11 am and anytime after 5 pm. Also available anytime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine. Give them lots of love and attention and always respect your space. About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate. Your dog will look forward to playing around the property and spending time in the forest with Sabine and I!

About: I have years of experience working with pets and have been caring for pets of all kinds from a young age. People were always outnumbered by pets in my household. I have had the pleasure of expanding my experience with animals as I have worked for the past two years as a nanny/farmhand. In that position I have worked with dogs, cats, goats, chickens and even a sassy young miniature donkey. I am lucky enough to have my best friend living locally who worked as a veterinary technician for several years and is always available for medical advice! My work days extend Mondays through Friday for 6-8 hour stretches depending on the day. My schedule allows for plenty of time to walk and play with your pets before 9am and after 4pm with additional opportunity for brief check-ins/ potty breaks on M/W/F as my work is flexible those days allowing me to be mobile and pop by if needed. For the comfort of your pets, I am more than willing to stay with them at their own home for the duration of the job. I do have a sweet 9 year old Belgian shepherd mix who she gets along wonderfully with other animals and would love to join me to provide an additional social aspect to the visit if you wish or I can come solo. Totally depending on your preference!

About: Owning & training dogs since I was 6 years old 🤗 I have a 15 year old Austraniel who loves making new friends & sharing his huge park-like yard. I am a hotel manager and work from home, I’m available for daily visits to your house, adventure trips and walks, transporting pets, and boarding at my home. I care for your pets as I would my own, they are welcome to cuddle up on the couch and roam free in the yard. I am happy to offer basic training practice, walks and love!
