“I genuinely could not have asked for a better person to watch over my kitty while on vacation. She keeps you updated, sends pictures, whatever you may need to keep you at peace while being away from your pet. Highly highly recommend! I will not use anyone else as long as Erin’s available from here on out!”

“Billie Jo is always the best. Even when our robotic litter box messed up she found a solution to help the kitties until we were able to come back and fix the problem. She also cleaned up any messes that happened. We only trust her with our animals.”

“Amanda is such a phenomenal cat-sitter and so conscientious and thoughtful of all of our needs (us being two cats and two humans). We had a wonderful, seamless experience and will absolutely book again!”

“Laney was great. After telling her we would have limited access to internet or cell phone service she still sent pictures to update us on the visits she was making. I highly recommend her if you need someone to watch your fur babies while you are gone.”

“Cassidy was awesome with my two cats. She did everything I asked and more. My kitties were happy and healthy when I got home. She also got my mail and packages. Thankful to have peace of mind while we were away. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Very happy to have Michaela come check on all 4 of my cats, in fact I now have her come spend a full hour a day with them instead of the half hour I use to have her do. She does a great job.”

“Kat was absolutely amazing. She didn’t just come in and feed/watch the kitties… She interacted with them. That was the most important thing to us and we were worried that they would be too anxious to let her. But, somehow she broke through those cold kitty and became excited to see her! We were extremely grateful for her time and attention. Especially with the time frame. We requested help from December 29th through January 1st.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

“Mel was able to accommodate my last minute booking, and even made time to come meet my pup—the day of booking/night before visit!! I SOOO appreciated that as it’s hard to leave your pup with someone you’ve never met. She was super friendly and accepting of all my requests for my pup! Highly recommend her and so does my Reese! We will use her again!!”

About: WHY PICK ROVER: Because you get the assurance of knowing your beloved pet is enjoying their vacation as much as you are. WHY PICK ME: Because I love dogs. I enjoy spending time playing, cuddling, and relaxing. Typical kennels, both at your vet/groomers and the "pet resorts" have multiple pets, and employees that are on a set schedule. Your pet still spend 85% of their time in a kennel/crate/enclosure. While in my care they will be given individual attention. they will have free roam and access to the outdoors as needed and be home to attend to their needs. The safety, health and happiness of my fur friends is my priority. I have had multiple dogs my entire life. I have been hired by friends and family since I was in my teens to watch and care for animals during vacations. I have owned and tended to dogs as small as 10 pounds up to 200 pounds. Security and safety of your pets are of the utmost importance. I am a part time remote worker, so my time really belongs to your fur family. 90%. I may leave for occasional meeting or meal. I will take every effort to stick to your rules and your environment with your pup.. I don't mind dogs want to cuddle at night or that need to be crated. Having lived with both puppies and geriatric dogs, I am more than willing to do late night potty breaks or whatever necessary.

“Jade was a gem to come in at the last minute to watch my cat, Lucky, after a previous sitter had to back out. She took good care of my pet and sent me messages and pics about how he was doing. Thank you, Jade!”

About: Since I was a child I’ve taken care of big dogs! Not afraid of a lil bit of slobber and helping walk strong dogs. Health matters first for me so you’re not alone in wanting the best for your doggo!! I’m more flexible before 10 am and after 2pm Thursday through Sunday. Monday through Wednesday I’m available throughout the day, with occasional meetings on Tuesday Mornings. Please specify your needs and I’ll work to provide. My dog is a black lab/shepherd! I’m the type of dog mom that will plan our vacations to include her if thats saying anything! Dogs have been my best of friends throughout childhood. I may have an easier time talking to your dog than you! JOKING!

“Josie was great! She kept the communication going while we were out of town so we were always kept up to date on Wrigley and if she had any questions or anything. She knew how to introduce herself to him so he felt comfortable while we were gone, and that was the most important part for us. We'll definitely be using Josie again next time we need a dog walker”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and am an avid animal lover! From dogs and cats to bunnies and reptiles. Breed nor age matters! I’ve been around dogs as small as Chihuahuas to dogs as big as Great Pyrenees. I also have experience with dogs as young as 2 months and dogs as old as 18 years. I am able to provide what your pet needs, including; nail trimming, brushing, bathing, medication, and more**. In my hands, your dog will receive the upmost respect and care. **I cannot provide these if your dog responds aggressively as it could lead to injury. This is for the safety of everyone, including the animal. I’m a full time art teacher that commutes 40 minutes to and from work. That means pick-ups and drop-offs for boarding will occur in the early evenings (around 4:30 - 5:00pm) unless otherwise specified. While I may not be home during the day, my partner is, and can let your dog out to potty/stretch on a regular basis. When I am home, your dog will receive lots of love and attention! During the summer, I am home all day! There are also a few times throughout the year when I am home for the holidays (like winter break or spring break). We can discuss pick-up and drop-off times if you end up needing boarding during one of these days. I have a 4ft chain-link fenced in backyard with lots of shade and running room. I have two dogs who are dog friendly and would love to play with your fur baby OR I can keep them separated. I can crate your dog (we have kennels or you can provide one). I also have a spare bedroom if your dog is not comfortable with other animals (we do have 3 cats) and is not crate trained. Otherwise, your dog will be loose in the house and allowed on furniture. There is a park right across the street from the house, perfect for walks or playing fetch. We also have a kiddy pool if your dog likes to play in water! Lastly, we are a take a cruise in the car kind of family, so if your dog loves car rides, they’ll get to tag along. I am the kind of individual who follows a schedule if provided one, so if your dog has a routine or special needs, please let me know :)

Jamie R.

“I have known Jamie R. since she was in 6th grade. She was best friends with my daughter since then and I would love to tell everyone of her love of animals. She started out owning and caring for a Dashhounds. Throughout the years, she has owned many. Now she has graduated to other sized dogs. As my daughter has a Dashhound dog as well Jamie has been her support system with knowledge on the breed. She has a perfect set up for caring for animals as she is the only one who lives in her home that she owns.
