“Emma stayed with my cat Patrick for a week while I was in another state for work. Patrick needs some special attention and takes daily medication. She did a great job making sure he was taking care of and comfortable! Additionally, she communicated with me well and made sure to send me some pictures every day!”

“Samantha was very quick to respond, easy to work with, and understood the care needs for our pups. She sent a few pictures and updates during her stay, we would definitely book her again!”

“Paola was so attentive to our beloved Kona. She went above and beyond day after day, very consistent with check-in and photos, so we could see our dog as she even offered to clean up around the house a little bit and do anything that needed done while we were away of all of the rovers, I’ve tried this has without a doubt been our best experience. Quit looking for other rovers just go ahead and book Paola with confidence.”

“Karrie was fantastic! She stayed in our home, which helped our dogs feel comfortable and relaxed right away. She kept them on their usual routine, so we never had to worry while we were away. She was also a wonderful house guest and even washed dishes and bedding before she left. We couldn't have asked for better care and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Mary did a great job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her again and appreciate her help especially at last minute. Thank you Mary!!”

“Kaitlin has the magic touch! My generally shy cat Watusi was in the kitchen posing for pictures the first day! Blizzard my dog loves anyone who'll give him a treat. Kaitlin kept them both happy and fed, along with plenty of pats, pics and snacks. She was also willing to water my outdoor plants, but with all the rain I haven't had a chance to see if she really needed to. I definitely recommend Kaitlin as a pet sitter and will be checking to see if she's available the next time I travel!”
“Samantha came to my rescue after my original house sitter had a family emergency. She took wonderful care of my dog Eddy and my cat Lily. Both pets were relaxed and content when I returned home. I would definitely have Samantha sit with my pets again!”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Jennifer! She house sat for my 5 mo old puppy and two senior cats, and my garden for six days, coordinating with veterinarian to deliver medical care to my sick cat and spending most of her time with my animals. She worked on training my pup and got him back into a good routine! She is super communicative and gives you the kinds of updates you want to hear about and sends lots of photos. She follows directions to a tee, so I never had to worry! She kept the house clean. I will definitely be asking for her again! 6 stars”

“Erin checks on my dogs during the week while I’m at work and has spent the weekend at my house while I was out of town. I trust her completely with my dogs and my home. She’s easy to communicate and work with.”

“Kelsey took wonderful care of our house and garden. She followed all our instructions conscientiously and even left us some gifts commemorating our dog Mr. Tigs who recently passed away. She's awesome!”

“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

“We have had multiple dog sitters stay at our house since moving to KC a few years ago, Rhonda is our absolute favorite! Our dogs are so happy everytime we get back and the house is always exactly how we left it.”
“Virginia took great care of my dogs and my home! She was flexible with some last minute changes and sent me a check in and photos of my pups everyday. The dogs were both calm and obviously well cared for on our return. ♡”

“Alyssa did a great job with our anxious doggies! They seemed very content when we came back from our trip which is a testament to how well she did with them and how comfortable they were with her. We will definitely look to her in the future!”

“Evan was attentive to the boys, giving them lots of pets and cuddles, and he followed my recommended schedule and instructions precisely! Great communication throughout and the pups would love to have Evan as a dogsitter again in the future! Thank you for being there for them while we were away.”

About: From a young age, I have always loved animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I was responsible for caring for our family dogs, and I also helped my grandparents with their farm dogs (who could get a little crazy! Trust me, I do not shy away when a furry friend is excited to see me!). In college, I adopted my own dog, Blue. She required a lot of energy and attention from the start, which helped me develop many of the skills I use today. Whether your pup is energetic, curious, anxious, or somewhere in between, I am confident I can provide a safe and comfortable environment for them. I understand how much we love our four-legged family members, which is why I always make them a top priority while you’re away on vacation, at work, or running errands. I enjoy sending photos, video updates, and check-ins to ensure clear and consistent communication. Reach out if you are looking for a sitter or would like to learn more about my experience! I work full-time in marketing, but my job offers a flexible schedule. Whether I need to work remotely for a week or step away mid-day, I can make it happen without any trouble. I also rarely have back-to-back meetings, which allows me to take breaks from work and focus my attention on your pup! Unfortunately, my dog Blue isn't a great host (she’s not a fan of other dogs), so I won’t be able to care for your pet in my home. However, I am happy to travel to your home for check-ins. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug, treating them to a ride to get a pup cup, and of course, cuddling. I also like to meet your furry friend before the dog-sitting dates so they can become familiar with me, and so I can learn more about their routine, preferences, and what makes them happiest!
About: I love all animals. I’ve primarily had rescue cats & dogs and wish I could save them all. I’ve bottle fed abandoned kittens and rescued pregnant cats. I have experience with an abandoned, abused and anxious dog who needed patience and compassion on a daily basis. I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs from tiny chihuahua’s to large labradors & Dobermans. Each one with a personality all their own. I’m retired and I’m looking for a meaningful way to fill my days. I’m available most of the time, although I do love traveling when I can. I will follow every instruction you have in order to provide exceptional care for your pet in your home. My Rover reputation is based on you & your pets happiness!
