About: When I was young I grew up with animals. Since then, I have spent a lot of time with my friends and neighbors dogs. For example, I walk my neighbor’s dog everyday (for no fee) as they are an older couple and Chloe waits for me every morning. They joke that she’s my dog. I have pet sat for my friends during their vacations, pregnancies, and chemo appointments. These dogs have a special trust with me so their owners always feel comfortable when they’re away. I usually send pictures etc to update how they’re doing. One special picture was of the dog lying on the baby blanket that the parents had sent from the hospital. The mother said she burst into tears of gratitude. I have a job where I’m actively at work only 3 days a week. I spend my off days outdoors hiking usually which makes dog sitting / walking perfect. When I stay in the clients home, I try to keep to the schedule that is already known to the animal. At my own home, I do have a fenced in area. There are neighborhood dogs that can come and play if the dog is sociable.

“Joiee recent sitter for my 2 year old German Shepherd. The word AMAZING isn’t enough to describe her. Before the actual dates, she took time to come to my house to meet my dog then while I was gone, she kept me updated on their activities and sent me some great pictures of the 2 of them together. After I got home, he was actually crying (which he only does when my daughter leaves the house) and I am pretty sure he missed his new friend. “Mackenna house sat for us for a week. We arranged in advance that she would be gone during the day and at our house in the mornings/evenings and weekends. Our dog did great and Mackenna was very communicative. She texted us and sent pictures at all the appropriate junctures and she was responsive when we communicated with her. She came to our house in advance of the week and we showed her all the things she would need to know. Our dog has to have home based care, because she is anxious and reactive (can't stay in a kennel) - this did not deter Mackenna. Our dog was happy and not anxious at all when we got home.”

About: I've taken care of elderly pets, chickens, and dogs! I've got experience giving oral and shots to elderly animals. Have experience giving fussy cats medications or even nail trims! I also am willing to learn anything you want me to do! I am currently a part time college student and pet sitter. My schooling is completely online so it does allow quite a bit of flexibility. I do have some pre scheduled walks that may interfere with any other walks so I do ask for some flexibility as my repeat clients always get first priority. Currently I don't have excessive availability due to multiple bookings. But am always willing to book in advance. I am always taking notes and making sure I treat pets like I'd treat my own. They deserve to be loved and cared for. I am great at following instructions!
