“Mike was great with my dog Gaia. He followed the instructions I left for him and made sure my girl was comfortable and felt loved while he was here. Gaia will be happy to have him back.”

“Karrington was amazing with my Pepper. I'm always worried about her getting lonely when I'm gone, but the pictures that Karrington sent really put my mind at ease while I was on vacation. Pepper looked happy and engaged in all of her updates. I will definitely be calling on Karrington again the next time I'm out of town!!”
“Alexandria was great with our dogs! Was never in a rush, gave medications, and became fast friends with our pups. They communicated very well and the report cards were great. Loved the photos. Will book again.”

She was an excellent photographer and we loved getting pictures each time she went as well as the report of how our animals were doing. We have a dog and two cats and I could see in the pictures that they were happy and very comfortable with Julie! Would definitely recommend her and would use her again!”

About: I am very passionate about giving a pet their best life by taking them to experience new places and things because the world is beautiful and I love showing them pieces of it that I may take for granted. Being raised in a pet family, I learned lots of skills that I use in my day to day life like responsibility, integrity, loyalty, patience, and kindness. I grew up with a Golden Retriever, Husky, and American Eskimo. I loved and cared for all of them, while growing confident in my skills of: teaching tricks, bathing them, cleaning up messes, playing with them, walking them, taking them out to go potty, feeding them, grooming them, and loving on them. I cannot wait to have the opportunity of meeting more cute dogs in the future! I currently work a flexible full time job during Monday-Friday. I am always off for the evenings and have breaks in between seeing clients as well throughout the day. I am off for weekends and typically available, unless there are prior plans that I've committed to. I ensure that all pet needs are met and check on the pet at least 3x time a day (subject to change depending on the owners preferences). I take them out to go potty, I feed them food and water, and I take them on at least one walk per day. I will spend a portion of time playing with them and giving them attention to ensure they feel loved. If I am watching them during the weekend, I will take them to a park and to grab a pup cup, with the owners permission. If they get dirty or leave a mess, I will make sure to clean them up and the mess up as well. Overall, I want the owner to come back to a stress-free home and to a healthy & happy pet!

“Carol is the best!!! She’s a 10 out of 10. I will use her every time I can that she is available. She’s a great communicator and is amazing with my animals. If she’s available, book her. You’re welcome.”

“Casey was wonderful! What should have been a simple few days of drop-in visits turned out to be chaos. But, with all the problems on our end, he handled everything admirably- and with a calm that put us all at ease. I can't thank him enough!”

About: I have 3 pups of my own, and work with cats and dogs every day as a veterinary technician assistant at The PARC Animal Hospital. I've always loved animals, and feel so fortunate to be able to make that my full-time job! I would be honored to care for your pets while you're away! I currently work 10-hour shifts Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but would love to come hang out with your fur babies Sunday through Wednesday! I can swing by for walks or for cuddle time and feedings, or stay over and house sit. I will make sure for pets are safe and secure. I have one reactive dog, so I'm very familiar with keeping him safe and not putting anyone in an unsafe situations. I am experienced at giving meds, so I'm happy to administer anything from a pill at dinner time or an injection.

Sophia was communicative, flexible, professional, and incredibly reliable throughout my time away. I really appreciated that she took the time to play with my kitty and give her attention. She also sent lots of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. When I came home, my cat was completely happy, relaxed, and acting totally normal, so I could tell she had been very well taken care of. Sophia is clearly a competent and confident pet sitter, and I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my cat and my home. I would 100% use Sophia's services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter!

Jessica is a kind, conscientious and dependable caregiver to my cat Mac. He is extremely discerning but loves her very much. She is flexible and accommodating and has saved me at the last minute by caring for Mac. Jessica has helped me several times and I plan to continue to choose her. Thank you Jessica Thank you Jessica,

We were first-time users of this service, and we are so grateful we found Andrea to take care of our cat, Leo. She was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and well cared for after he got out of his room and started exploring the house. Even though she couldn’t find him on her first visit, she didn’t give up. She found him the next day, made sure he was okay, and sent us a photo, which gave us so much peace of mind. Andrea’s communication is excellent—she responds quickly and is very easy to work with. She also speaks perfect Spanish, which was especially helpful for my parents since Spanish is their first language. She even came by a day before her scheduled visits to meet Leo and learn about his needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We will definitely book Andrea again the next time we need someone to care for Leo. Highly recommended!

Cortney is an absolute ROCK STAR ⭐️! My usual cat sitter had a medical emergency and was not available so I tried your Rover site. What a fabulous experience. Cortney is a dream come true. My cat Mac is a sweet “old man” but not friendly and he waited for Cortney meowing at the door. He let her comb him, never has THAT happened before. Cortney’s visit was perfect. She did everything as requested very well. She is pleasant, easy to talk to and very gentle and nice. I would use her without reservation anytime. Thank you Cortney & Rover for having such a fantastic platform of pet care. With gratitude, Karen Fraser

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
