I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I also understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine and provide updates so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I work full-time, but I have plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week. I’m available all day Sunday through Tuesday. Wednesday through Saturday, I’m available around noon for drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, or other pet care needs. I’ll always communicate clearly and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need. I always make sure pets are cared for in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, walks, medications, and any special needs. I’m comfortable with the different needs that come with puppies and kittens, adult pets, and seniors, and I understand how important it is to keep them comfortable and maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I treat every animal in my care like they’re part of the family. ### Booking & Availability I’m happy to discuss your pet’s needs and schedule a meet-and-greet before booking. Because pending requests can affect my availability for other families, I’m unable to hold dates indefinitely while travel plans are still tentative. I can reserve dates once your travel dates are firm, we’ve discussed your pet’s care needs, and, when appropriate, a meet-and-greet is scheduled. If your plans aren’t finalized yet, no problem—you’re always welcome to reach back out once your dates are confirmed, and I’ll be happy to check my availability. For house sitting, I stay overnight with your pets and spend time with them throughout the day, while also coming and going for work, family responsibilities, and errands. During the school year, I also maintain a substitute-teaching schedule, so I’m best suited for pets who can comfortably be home alone for a typical workday when needed. House sitting does not include 24/7 or constant care. I work part-time as a substitute and am also an online college student, so my schedule is quite flexible. I do have a family, but with advance notice I can accommodate a variety of schedules, including overnight stays and longer pet-sitting visits. I’m happy to work with you to find an arrangement that fits your pets’ routine and your travel plans. If you’d like me to care for your dog or dogs at my home, I have a fenced yard and a comfortable outdoor setup for dogs. I can also bring dogs indoors during inclement weather when needed. I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and make arrangements based on their individual needs and comfort level. For cats, I would need to provide care in their own home through house sitting or drop-in visits.

About: I am very passionate about giving a pet their best life by taking them to experience new places and things because the world is beautiful and I love showing them pieces of it that I may take for granted. Being raised in a pet family, I learned lots of skills that I use in my day to day life like responsibility, integrity, loyalty, patience, and kindness. I grew up with a Golden Retriever, Husky, and American Eskimo. I loved and cared for all of them, while growing confident in my skills of: teaching tricks, bathing them, cleaning up messes, playing with them, walking them, taking them out to go potty, feeding them, grooming them, and loving on them. I cannot wait to have the opportunity of meeting more cute dogs in the future! I currently work a flexible full time job during Monday-Friday. I am always off for the evenings and have breaks in between seeing clients as well throughout the day. I am off for weekends and typically available, unless there are prior plans that I've committed to. I ensure that all pet needs are met and check on the pet at least 3x time a day (subject to change depending on the owners preferences). I take them out to go potty, I feed them food and water, and I take them on at least one walk per day. I will spend a portion of time playing with them and giving them attention to ensure they feel loved. If I am watching them during the weekend, I will take them to a park and to grab a pup cup, with the owners permission. If they get dirty or leave a mess, I will make sure to clean them up and the mess up as well. Overall, I want the owner to come back to a stress-free home and to a healthy & happy pet!

About: Two large pitties, one large cat, and a snake are my precious pets. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young and have lots of experience with cats. I want to help ease your mind by providing your fur babies with a calm presence to keep them company while you’re away. Pet care helps me get walking exercise and help local people in my community! It’s a great way to be more active. Many folks are uncomfortable working with cats, but not me! Cats I keep indoors and I am used to brushing long hair cats, without pushing their boundaries. I care for my two large dogs with walks and outside activities tailored to what they prefer. One of my dogs loves to play tug of war and the other just wants to lay on the couch. I do both with them, since I feel play is important for an animal’s well-being.

Julie was excellent. We were gone for two weeks and she consistently went each day to let our pets out, feed them and play with them. She was an excellent photographer and we loved getting pictures each time she went as well as the report of how our animals were doing. We have a dog and two cats and I could see in the pictures that they were happy and very comfortable with Julie! Would definitely recommend her and would use her again!
We were first-time users of this service, and we are so grateful we found Andrea to take care of our cat, Leo. She was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and well cared for after he got out of his room and started exploring the house. Even though she couldn’t find him on her first visit, she didn’t give up. She found him the next day, made sure he was okay, and sent us a photo, which gave us so much peace of mind. Andrea’s communication is excellent—she responds quickly and is very easy to work with. She also speaks perfect Spanish, which was especially helpful for my parents since Spanish is their first language. She even came by a day before her scheduled visits to meet Leo and learn about his needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We will definitely book Andrea again the next time we need someone to care for Leo.
