About: Two large pitties, one large cat, and a snake are my precious pets. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young and have lots of experience with cats. I want to help ease your mind by providing your fur babies with a calm presence to keep them company while you’re away. Pet care helps me get walking exercise and help local people in my community! It’s a great way to be more active. Many folks are uncomfortable working with cats, but not me! Cats I keep indoors and I am used to brushing long hair cats, without pushing their boundaries. I care for my two large dogs with walks and outside activities tailored to what they prefer. One of my dogs loves to play tug of war and the other just wants to lay on the couch. I do both with them, since I feel play is important for an animal’s well-being.
“Gabrielle took amazing care of our fur babies!! Thank you so much for looking after them. Communication with Gabrielle was awesome. She responded quickly to any questions we had.”

About: I am very passionate about giving a pet their best life by taking them to experience new places and things because the world is beautiful and I love showing them pieces of it that I may take for granted. Being raised in a pet family, I learned lots of skills that I use in my day to day life like responsibility, integrity, loyalty, patience, and kindness. I grew up with a Golden Retriever, Husky, and American Eskimo. I loved and cared for all of them, while growing confident in my skills of: teaching tricks, bathing them, cleaning up messes, playing with them, walking them, taking them out to go potty, feeding them, grooming them, and loving on them. I cannot wait to have the opportunity of meeting more cute dogs in the future! I currently work a flexible full time job during Monday-Friday. I am always off for the evenings and have breaks in between seeing clients as well throughout the day. I am off for weekends and typically available, unless there are prior plans that I've committed to. I ensure that all pet needs are met and check on the pet at least 3x time a day (subject to change depending on the owners preferences). I take them out to go potty, I feed them food and water, and I take them on at least one walk per day. I will spend a portion of time playing with them and giving them attention to ensure they feel loved. If I am watching them during the weekend, I will take them to a park and to grab a pup cup, with the owners permission. If they get dirty or leave a mess, I will make sure to clean them up and the mess up as well. Overall, I want the owner to come back to a stress-free home and to a healthy & happy pet!
“Emily is just what my pets and I needed. My dog immediately fell in love with the her. My cat, who warms up slowly to new people, also warmed up to her quickly. Emily is friendly, dependable, and a wonderful Rover for my pets!”

Litzy did an amazing job taking care of my two cats while I was out of town! She followed all of my instructions, made sure they were fed, cleaned their litter boxes, and even watered my plants. She was reliable, communicative, and gave me peace of mind knowing my cats were in great hands. I highly recommend Litzy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you again! 🐈💕

Sophia was absolutely incredible. Our dog is naturally just very nervous around new people & she was so patient with him while he was warming up to her. She took her time to earn his trust. I felt so calm while away knowing that my pup was in such great, caring hands! Will be booking her anytime I need to go away again! 🫶🤩🥰
Cortney was amazing with my 3 large breed rambunctious dogs. They typically get along great, but are reactive with certain things, so i was looking for someone with experience that would be able to mitigate any issues. My dogs actually decided to act out during our meet and greet (which was embarrassing for me), and their behavior didn’t phase her one bit ! Seeing how she interacted with them, and handled that with grace, put me at ease and let me know they would be well taken care and in good hands while we were away. She kept them on schedule with their medication, food & potty breaks, which i also very much appreciated. I also got lots of updates with photos showing what a great time they were all having together 🐶❤️🐶❤️🐶❤️, making me feel less guilty about leaving them for a few days to go on vacation :). Cortney even brought in some packages i had and did some house-sitting requests such as: opening / shutting blinds, turning lights on / off at certain times etc.. We will definitely be repeat clients in the future! Who knows, we may even travel more now that we have found someone that we know will take good care of our babies while we are away. Thank you so much for the amazing care provided Cortney ! 10/10, definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Julie! She cared for our two kitties for an entire week and went above and beyond. One of my cats need a daily medication and Julie handled it with no problems at all, it gave us so much peace of mind! Both cats were well fed and had freshwater every day, and most importantly they received plenty of love and playtime. We could tell they were happy and comfortable with Julie! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a reliable, compassionate cat sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
