About: I was raised in a pet family and learned many skills that I use in my day to day life like responsibility, integrity, loyalty, patience, and kindness. My Uncle gave us his cat when I was in middle school and at first, I was weary, but I fell in love with her. I loved cuddling and holding her, listening to her purr, and hanging out. She was so kind and sweet, which made me want more cats in my future! I have cat-sat for others and it's been fun to learn each one's unique personality! Some are calm and some are so goofy/energetic. About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day

About: I am the go to guy in the family to take care of our furry loved ones. I currently live with my significant other and we have two rabbits of our own. I am comfortable and confident in taking care of any of your pets. Growing up, my brothers and I had pets ranging from guinea pigs to birds to snakes to a 5 foot long tegu. I am a music teacher during the school year from August to May. So from the summer months June to August, I am trying to find another way to make money from my other life passions.
