About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I'll keep you connected with plenty of photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I do not have any hobbies or obligations that would take me away from them for more than a few hours. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate. I will care for your pets however you may wish! I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks or to the dog park, or simply lounging at home with them. About: Have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! Never had a year without living with dogs, cats, and the many other lovely creatures I have as pets. I’m all about getting outside with animals and having fun! I’m currently a F+B manager working nights and have Sunday and Mondays off. Every morning, 6am -12pm, open for any adventure and/or pet care. Love taking care of senior dogs and running with high energy pups. I have no fence around my yard and keep all dogs on a leash or tether when outside and always accompanied when outside. I live right on the Animas River and love to walk my pets down. I have a 3 year old female dog Daisy and a 1 year old black male cat named Felix. Both are friendly and love making new friends! Will always take care of a clients pet and home like it’s my own.

About: I had many pets growing up, but I don't currently have any of my own. I love animals and so, for many years, I have filled the pet void by taking care of my friends animals as needed. For 2-6 weeks at a time on some occasions. Its great to know that I'm giving people peace of mind when they are away from their pets. My friends know that their dogs are getting spoiled with outdoor adventures and cuddles on the couch. You shouldn't have to worry about your furry friends when you leave town. Going for a dog walk easily becomes the best part of my day, and so offering my service to folks beyond my immediate friend group seems like a really enjoyable way for me to make some extra cash. I work from home full time, Monday through Friday, and I have a very flexible day-to-day schedule that allows me to provide constant supervision and take frequent breaks throughout the day for sun, exercise, playing and pets. I have a working vehicle that is dog friendly. I am happy to go to the dog park and explore hiking trails, but I also live on a farm and the property is fully fenced in. I have experience taking care of dogs that have recently had surgery and require carrying up/down stairs and lifting in/out of the car, have needed meds both orally and via injection, elderly dogs that need frequent trips outside, and high anxiety dogs that need close contact and attention and don't do well with other animal interactions. I am happy to meet individual pet needs based on health, personality, etc...

About: I am a working professional that will be doing this for some fun and extra income. This will be my first time doing pet care for people I do not know. In the past I have helped friends and neighbors when they were leaving town by watching their animals. In the past I ran my own cleaning business and often did minimal animal care while cleaning homes. I have a dog myself (Indie) and can understand the stress that comes with hiring a pet sitter or kenneling your pet. I hope I can help to provide a stress free option for pet care. You can be confident your animal will be getting the best possible care while you are away. I am offering walks in your neighborhood or longer hikes in the area accompanied by my dog, drop-in visits, and overnight sitting at your home. About: Hello! I'm Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid certified on top of being around animals my whole life. I love all creatures from zero legs to eight legs! I have experience with just about everything. Nothing bothers me when it comes to feeding and cleaning either. Please note: that my dog comes with me when I house-sit, she is very friendly with all types of critters and will only be there when I am. My work schedule is usually pretty flexible and it's easy for me to do afternoon drop-ins to let dogs out. Summers tend to be busier for me, but I'm happy to work things out with the right person! I have a very friendly dog that would be with me for any petting sitting, but she is great and used to meeting new dogs and being in new places.

About: Hi! My name is Jake. I grew up in a house full of pets and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I work full time at Fort Lewis, so I am completely available after 4 pm Monday through Friday with an hour during the day for walk breaks. During the weekend I can be fully available. I am available for any type of house sitting! Whether it be a quick midday walk or week-long stay, I am there to keep your pets comfortable in their home environment, on their schedule.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, and I have been able to spend lots of time with furry friends!! I definitely love animals more than people. My mom has boarded dogs for years, so I have learned to feed, walk and take care of pets. I worked at a doggie/cat daycare and boarding place for a year and a half as a supervisor, and I learned a lot with that experience. I love hiking and going for walks, and I love hanging out with furry friends! I am currently in school, and do not have a job. I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and I am able to stop by often. I will make sure the dog is fed, and gets outside when needed. If the dog needs to be in a crate, I will put them in a crate. If the dog needs a harness for walking I will absolutely use it.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs from very small to giant breeds. I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs with heath issues. I have a very flexible schedule and either me or my husband is home at all times. I am a huge animal lover and have owned my own dogs for 20 years. I live in an area with lots of room to roam, fenced back yard and I live on 4 acres. I am a registered nurse currently working part time and my husband works from home. So we coordinate our schedules so that someone is always home with our dog and son. I have a large area for pets to be outside that is fully fenced. Very nice neighborhood with easy access to my home. I have one small dog who is very friendly with other dogs. I am also willing to accommodate your needs to make you more comfortable with caring for your pets, as a long time per owner I know how stressful it can be to leave them and having someone wonderful care for them is extremely important.

About: I have raised 4 Labrador Retrievers from puppies, and have done the same with 2 horses. With that, experience comes a lot of knowledge and love for these animals on a daily basis. This has become a crazy world after COVID, but with each new challenge comes new opportunities. “We booked another Rover dog walker to take care of our dog while we were in Durango. After we arrived, we contacted her to come out and meet our dog. She had contracted COVID so we told her not to worry about it. We contacted several more walkers and Kimberly was able to walk our dog the next day. She came out early in the morning to meet him, then came out three more times to take care of him while we took the train to Silverton and back. On the train, we decided to try a horseback ride the next day. We asked Kimberly if she could let him out again the next day and she could. Kimberly was friendly and able to take care of our dog on really short notice. We really appreciated her flexibility and availability.”
