About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover with experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I have two dogs of my own and treat every pet like family. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being active outdoors. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to your pet’s daily schedule, I’m happy to make them a priority and give them the attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs they may have. Whether they need extra potty breaks, medication, lots of playtime, or a calm environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.
About: For more than 30 years, I’ve cared for animals with one simple philosophy: the best care is the care that fits the pet. I provide experienced, personalized care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and care needs, and I understand that no two pets—or households—are exactly alike. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away. That might mean a walk and playtime for an energetic dog, a quiet visit with an older pet, following an established medication or special-care routine, or simply spending time with a pet who feels safest at home. Communication is an important part of the care I provide. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can enjoy your time away without wondering what’s happening back home. My services include: - Personalized drop-in visits - One-on-one dog walks - Feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and playtime - Senior pet care and individualized routines - Medication and special-care support when appropriate - Overnight care in your home - Basic home care while you’re away I intentionally focus on individualized, in-home care rather than high-volume pet sitting. Your pet gets my attention, the comfort of their familiar surroundings, and care tailored to their personality and routine. Whether you need a midday visit during a long workday, dependable care for a weekend away, or an experienced person you can trust with your pets and your home while you travel, my goal is simple: excellent care for them and peace of mind for you. Professional pet care. Personal attention. Right at home. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide care throughout the day rather than trying to fit visits around a traditional 9-to-5. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and overnight care, including recurring weekday visits. Whether your pet needs a midday break while you’re at work, several visits while you’re traveling, or overnight companionship, I’ll work with you to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine always come first. I take time to learn their personality, habits, triggers, and any special instructions before care begins. I follow your established feeding, medication, walking, and household routines carefully and never force interaction with a pet who needs time or space to feel comfortable. I also understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own, keep doors and gates secure, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. My goal is for you to come home to a safe, happy pet and your home just as you left it.
About: I can help with senior pets that have trouble walking and seeing as well as feeding puppies and kittens. I enjoy taking care of any animals. Pet care can be a full time care plan for me. I am free to take care of your pets all week and over night. I have a medium sized fenced yard as well as a dog pen. There are 3 kids in the household as well as 2 family puppies and 1 adult dog.
“Leslie was the most amazing caregiver in the world!! Would recommend her warmly to anyone - she took care of our 9-month old puppy as if it was her own. She took him for 2-hour long off leash walks at the dog park and he had a blast - he would be running so happily towards her every morning she came. A true lifesaver and would definitely reach out to her anytime!!”
About: I've grown up with two other dogs: one is a 12-year-old dachshund, and the other is an African Cattle Dog that resembles a Dalmatian. I have had my dog since I was 18, and I've always loved being active and around dogs. So, having a hobby with something I love (animals) is a win-win situation! I am currently focusing solely on school, but I do have some extra free time. I start back up in the fall as I am on summer break! I do work at a dog and cat boarding facility in the area, so I do have experience with animals! As a cat and dog owner, I've learned about their behavior and attitude. Being young and energetic, I stay busy and genuinely enjoy my time caring for them.
“Roxey does an awesome job walking my dog Storm. She communicates effectively and immediately. I would strongly recommend Roxey if you are looking for a caring and responsible dog lover.”
About: I have former experience an Animal shelter technician as well as being a vet assistant. These jobs specialized in medical attention and care of dogs and cats. I currently babysit in the morning, nights and weekends are preferred but I’m willing to house sit as well as pet sit. I have a pretty flexible schedule. A typical pet sitting day is, feeding, letting the animal relieve themselves, walk or let out into the yard. Return later to feed and crate or if the animal has specific living accommodations.
About: I am a 28 years old female who currently has 3 dogs 1 male black lab, 1 female Aussie & 1 male aussie who I love like my own kids. I have training experience and am excited to meet your animal. I treat all animals as if they are my children and give them all of the love and attention possible! I work for myself, so my schedule is super flexible and I can accommodate you and your pups needs. I am available Monday-Sunday and some holidays. I have a large fenced back yard where my dogs love to play and run around. I will care for your babies as if they were my own with your wants and needs!
About: I consider myself a dog person, but I enjoy cats as well! I have had wonderful and fun memorable experiences growing up with dogs. Ever since I was a child, I grew up in a family that loves dogs. I learned to feed, train, walk, and bathe dogs since my first pup at age 7. I would dog sit family dogs/cats and family friends dogs/cats. I enjoy all breeds of dogs and cats! I am available every day and week. I am open to house sit your pets and walk pets, and happy to feed them as well. I will also be available to do a quick check up on house pets such as to check the food/water bowls, clean kennel/litter boxes, etc. Your pet(s) safety is a priority I take very much into consideration of my duty responsibility. In a client's home I care for their pets based on the client's expectations and routines given orders. I will respect and follow the client's request of service. I do treat pets with respect, kindness, and care.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently care for my own pets. I’m dependable, attentive to pets’ needs, and committed to providing a safe, loving environment while owners are away. I work full time so I try to fit caring for animals in whenever I can! I don’t always have my calendar up to date but I usually get back with people within a few hours if I’m available! I have 2 cats that live at home with me, Finn and Nora. I have given them medicine and usually can read their body language. I also used to take care of my cat and dog, Midnight and Shadow, at my dad’s house. They are both outside animals!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
