About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. About: I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! I am comfortable doing most any task you may need! I currently work from home most days and I am able to be available when needed. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide diligent care for your pets! I have another dog who loves to keep other dogs company! About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for dogs in my social circle. I've cared for dogs across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages, and managed play groups of 3 or 4 at a time. I've also worked as a shelter volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and I currently live with a rambunctious 2-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. I have experience with shy, timid, and reactive dogs; I feel particularly fluent in reading their cues and responding as needed. I'm also comfortable with rowdy puppy energy, slow moving seniors, and various other quirks that every dog seems to have. About: I’ve lived in Atlanta for about 20 years and one of my favorite things about this city is the animal life; both wild and domesticated. I have recently relocates to Detroit! My friend call me “The Dog Whisperer” because everywhere I go puppers can’t get enough of me! My summertime availability is 100% flexible. I’ve taken care of all types of dogs old and young, big and small. I’m no stranger to giving medication or dealing with rambunctious dogs who need a little extra time outside. I believe that all animals deserve love and care and that all owners deserve a break. These puppies are like our children and sometimes kids have to be sent to Autie’s House. Let me be your puppy aunt. The pleasure is all mine. I take classes online and bartend part time. My schedule is very flexible. I am home during the day to play and cuddle with the animals. I leave for work in between 2-4 and return between 8-10. If I am returning at 10 I will feed the dogs before I leave and give them a little treat/snack when I return. I care for the pets based upon your personal standards and their routine. I currently do not offer boarding because of my own skittish pet.

About: I have owned pets ever since I can remember, from a little Puddle, to a Rottweiler, to a Maine Coon cat to a hermit crab. I also have experience handling and controlling aggressive behavior safely and properly. I love taking funny pics of them too lol I’m currently the owner of the sweetest kitten, so it is already a part of my daily routine to care for and love my furry friend. I am very gentle, loving, patient, cautious and kind. I can carefully but easily follow specific instructions for special medical procedures if that’s ever needed.

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend living with us, be it a hamster, dog, rabbit or bird. But I did not have a pet of my own until I bought my home in Detroit in 2014, settling down after a life of frequent moving/traveling. Now my little family consists of 2 little ones, a sweet bunny, my patient partner and myself. We have lived with cats and dogs in the past, but not currently. I’m an ethical vegan and an animal rights advocate. In the past I’ve worked at the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY, where I cared for and supervised the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs who lived there and spoke to potential adopters who were interested in taking them home. My history of volunteer work in Detroit includes membership in Pretties for Pitties, a pit bull advocacy organization that helps keep Pitts and other bully breeds in their loving homes, and fights BSL in Michigan. I’m an active member of Attorneys for Animals, an organization that connects animal advocates with animal law. Before the birth of my daughter I worked for many years at the Detroit Public Library, and I’m currently an Airbnb host as well. About: Hello! I’m Maranda and I love animals, like most people. I am open to all animals! Any pet in my home will be treated as my own, following guidelines set by you of course. I have most of my experience fromworking in Dog Day Care centers, as well as ten years on and off overnight dog and cat sitting for friends and family, so I am well versed in dog behaviors and body language. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby or babies! My three year old and I are always home except for quick runs to breakfast or the store. I’m rarely gone from the house for more than 2 hours. I ask that drop off/pick up times be between the times of 7am- 9pm. I am also available for transportation! I have dog seatbelt leashes as well and I can pick up starting at 9am and will end at 9pm, outside of emergencies. Thank you for understanding ☺️ A somewhat fenced yard, a chain link fence that is weak at the poles (working on updating) but! dogs would be leashed at all times regardless. I have a large three year old who is the only child in the house that is never left unattended around animals. The comfort of the dogs are most important. If your fur baby has any resource guarding, fear aggression, or herding behavior I ask that we do a meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. My house is baby proofed, although maybe in a state of organized chaos thanks to said toddler, so animals will be safe as well. I have three cats, but when dogs are in the house they hang out in my basement, as that is their home base. The pups in my care have access to the entire first floor of my house, and can come upstairs with me with supervision if I do not have any cat guests lounging upstairs (: I have two crates, one is 36 inches and the other is 42 and they are equipped with beds and an optional crate cover if that is what the pup is used to. If drop off or pick up is needed of me, I have seat belt leashes for car safety. During drop in visits, each family and pet have their own groove so please forgive me if i ask so many questions! I want to maintain familiar routines and behaviors with your fur babies so they can be as comfortable as possible. For drop in visits, please tell explain where the food is kept and where the food bowls/litter boxes are. Some dogs have triggers that put them in an arousal/overstimulated state, (Hats, hoods, boots? big jackets, certain pitches, how a stranger enters the house etc) please tell me if your dog has any of these! I have worked with many rescue/shelter dogs, I can accommodate for your babies. Please give a heads up for any exciting things your dog likes on walks! How do they walk, do they chase? Etc.
