About: With 10+ years of caring for my own pets plus family and friends’ dogs, I bring patience, reliability, and genuine love for every pup. I’m committed to giving dogs the movement, enrichment, and happy walks they deserve when their owners can’t be there. My schedule is very open right now, which gives me a lot of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. I’m able to adjust to your pet’s routine and make sure they get consistent care whenever needed. In my clients’ homes, I always follow their routines, preferences, and house rules. My goal is to keep each pet comfortable and cared for while I’m a guest in their space.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I have experience staying overnight for long periods of time, and also with dropping in here and there for playtime! I currently work as an online tutor and I am a full-time student at Texas A&M University. During the summer break, I am very flexible! I will respect the pet owner's wishes when it comes to leaving pets inside or taking them outside. I have lots of experience with walking animals, and I'll make sure they stay safe!

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every breed, age, temperament, and healthcare needs since I was 10! I’m very comfortable providing special care for each dog’s needs. I have plenty of available time during the day to spend with your pup! I am flexible and open to requests via message. I’m happy to do long walks and overnight stays at my house. We have a cozy fenced in yard where your beloved baby can enjoy the sun, shade, and time with our small dog, Daisy! Shes very laid back, and loves other dogs.

About: Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am recent grad looking for great ways to pay off my student loans ASAP. I've been caring for animals from as young as two years old growing up on my family farm. I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits as pets through childhood and into adulthood. I take great pride in my animal care, and care for others' animals as if they were my own. I love taking dogs on hiking adventures, and I love playing games with cats. With award-winning head-scratches, I easily win over the shyest of animals, and have not yet met a creature that did not like me. I am a songwriter who mainly works from home and takes lots of walks to engage in nature- your dog would be a welcome addition to my routine! I’m ~that kind~ of neurodivergent.. I am adept at reading animals, and I always treat them with kindness and respect. Cool in crisis, I am an excellent person to have around your pet in a worst case scenario.

About: Animals are my absolute passion!! I am the person who cries during movies whenever an animal is on screen; because I love them so deeply. I grew up raising dogs from puppyhood into their senior years, and I even cared for a flock of chickens for four years. I have a big family with many siblings, so I am used to taking care of everyone’s dogs! Because of these things, I am deeply in tune with animal behaviors and body language. Professionally, I work part-time as a Medical Assistant. This background means I am naturally detail-oriented, calm in emergencies, and highly observant. I have extensive experience sitting many different breeds, including managing up to 6 dogs at once in one house. Whether your pup is a high-energy puppy or a sweet senior needing gentle care, they will be safe and loved with me! I work part-time as a Medical Assistant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This leaves my week perfectly open for pet care. I am available all day Mondays, Fridays, and weekends for dedicated house sitting, long walks, and fun adventures. On my work days (Tue/Wed/Thu), I can still accommodate early morning or evening drop-ins and potty breaks. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my life because it is truly my favorite way to spend my free time! Safety and trust are my top priorities. Since I do not offer boarding in my own home, my entire focus is on keeping your pet safe and happy in their own familiar environment. In Your Home: I strictly follow your routines for feeding, medication, and potty breaks. My medical background makes me hyper-vigilant about safety. I always scan for hazards, ensure doors are secure, and monitor your pet's health and energy. And, you will get plenty of photo updates!! On Walks: I use secure leashes and stay alert to our surroundings to avoid unpredictable interactions with other dogs or traffic. Multi-Pet Care: My experience managing up to 6 dogs at once ensures I can keep a calm, structured, and peaceful environment for households with multiple pets.
“Jennifer was amazing! Great communication, always on time, and gave my dog long, quality walks. I felt completely comfortable and trusted her the whole time. I would definitely book her again!”

“Connelley was so sweet and caring to Buck! Buck is very stubborn and likes to escape for attention so it was so nice to have someone so trustworthy and someone who paid attention to details/instructions so thoughtfully! I would absolutely recommend Connelley to anyone and everyone!”

“David was super nice and was able to come walk Rocko on an extremely short notice since I was injured and couldn't take him out. Must've been a great walk too cause my pup usually has tooons of energy but came back and took a nap as if he had ran a marathon. Thanks David!”

“Christine was a wonderful dog walker! I had to book a dog walker at the last minute and she was able to step in on a moments notice and go above and beyond!”

Barton Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Allie was really incredible. She was very patient with my anxious pup, and available to accommodate me the day of when another sitter fell through. I’m very grateful for her detailed notes, as I left knowing my little guy was in good hands. I would love to work with her again. Thank you so much Allie!

Connelley was so sweet and caring to Buck! Buck is very stubborn and likes to escape for attention so it was so nice to have someone so trustworthy and someone who paid attention to details/instructions so thoughtfully! I would absolutely recommend Connelley to anyone and everyone!

As usual, Brandi went above and beyond with Stevie Ray. She took him to a new park today where he got to explore and interact with other dogs. We didn’t ask her to deviate from his normal route, she just took him on an adventure which we so appreciate!!! I can’t say enough great things about Brandi!!! Stevie Ray just loves her and is always so happy to see her.

Ollie absolutely loves his walks with Madison; he gets so excited when she arrives. Madison is reliable, communicative, and clearly a true dog person. Ollie has some leash reactivity challenges, and I really appreciate the care and attention she takes to keep him engaged, set him up for success, and avoid situations that might trigger a reaction. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and tailors her approach to their individual needs. Don’t overthink it; book a walk with Madison! 🐾

It only took a couple of minutes at the start of the pre-engagement meeting and for it to become clear to me that Zach is an excellent experienced dog handler. My own experience with dogs includes training Australian Shepherds for sheep herding competitions and I have qualified for national competition twice. My yardstick for rating a dog handler has a correspondingly higher bar. So along with my complement was that quick understanding that I didn’t need to know anything else and that my dog was is as safe hands as she could be in. People simply don’t reach Zach’s level of engaging with dogs without also demonstrating to the dog that the dog is in anything other than very safe hands and that doesn’t happen if it’s not actually true. So with my and the dog’s approval, Zach was hired and lived up to both mine and the dog’s expectations. No problem.

5 stars! David was stellar. This was first time using both the Rover app and a dog walker. My dog(who is normally energetic)was nervous and apprehensive being walked by someone other than me, and David did an amazing job being both patient and encouraging during their first walk. For the next five days while I was gone David, arrived on time and was communicative every day. I plan to continue to use his services and highly recommend others do as well.

Laura was friendly, kind, and incredibly patient during her first meeting with our dog. She gave our pup the time and space to acclimate at her own pace, which we really appreciated. Laura also provided thoughtful guidance as we begin establishing care with her as our walker. It’s clear she truly loves dogs, and we’re excited to continue building a strong, trusting relationship with her and our new pup. Thank you again, Laura!
