He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. About: We're a family of four with two little girls (ages 4 and 2) and a stinky cute old pug. We're located on the north end of MI and have an enclosed yard for your dog (plus an extra enclosed space on the side of the house) and a wrap a round porch. Our door is pretty much always open so the dogs can go in and out as they please and our gates are super secure so unless your dog is a digger, they're safe in our yard. We also only board dogs who are two or older. :-) I'm at home every day and gone no more than a few hours to run my kids around to their activities each day. I've taken the dogs I've watched with me on all errands if they like car rides so they're pretty much around someone 90% of the time they stay with us. Our house is three stories and our current Pug is 8 years old and mostly blind so she sleeps a large portion of the day. She will sniff other dogs but that's the extent of her socializing and she will mostly just ignore guests. My girls and I love animals and your dog would feel like part of our family! Your dog would go on daily walks and if they're comfortable in cars, running my errands with me and my girls! We have an extra crate if your dog wants to sleep there or they can sleep with us in our bed or with one of my girls.

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care! My family has always had cats and dogs so I’m always happy and comfortable around animals. I’m very patient, calm and attentive. My cat was very sick when I first got him but his symptoms were very subtle, the vet said had I not been so adamant about getting him checked multiple times, he probably would not have made it. I love all animals and would bring that level of attention to any fur baby that I sit for. I know that each animal requires specific care and is unique in personality and I am happy to work within whatever sitting style would make your pet comfortable and happy. I am trusted sitter for friends and family and would treat your pet with the care and love that I would treat my own. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. This is what works for us but everyone’s situation looks different. If you give me a step by step of how your pet likes to be cared for I can assure you I will do exactly that :)

He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. I grew up in the country with dogs, rabbits, and cats so I am very comfortable with animals 🐶🐱🐰 I live 3 miles south of Zilker. I have a flexible schedule to help with your fur babies: (Mon-Sun, 9am-2pm). My neighborhood has 🌳🍃trail access 🌳🍃so boarding with me can include multiple nature walks! As a cat mom and previous exotic pet owner, I understand how important attention to detail is to meet your fur babies' needs and establishing trust in a calm environment. 📆 My schedule: I have full availability morning and early afternoon (9am-2pm!). For overnight stays we would have to coordinate a pick up time as I work at a restaurant 5 days a week. Book with me! 🌠 Dog Walking/House Sitting/Boarding. 🏠 My place: Spacious 2 Bedroom Apartment with a wrap around balcony facing the woods. My neighborhood has trail access for nature walks on the greenbelt.🌳🍃 Your fur babies would have plenty of space indoors and outdoors! 🐕 I have 2 cats that can be introduced or put in a different room for boarding.
