About: On top of owning pets my entire life, I was a zookeeper for three years up until I decided to make a switch to teaching wilderness survival skills to kids, which I do Monday through Friday! About: We're a family of four with two little girls (ages 4 and 2) and a stinky cute old pug. We're located on the north end of MI and have an enclosed yard for your dog (plus an extra enclosed space on the side of the house) and a wrap a round porch. Our door is pretty much always open so the dogs can go in and out as they please and our gates are super secure so unless your dog is a digger, they're safe in our yard. We also only board dogs who are two or older. :-) I'm at home every day and gone no more than a few hours to run my kids around to their activities each day. I've taken the dogs I've watched with me on all errands if they like car rides so they're pretty much around someone 90% of the time they stay with us. Our house is three stories and our current Pug is 8 years old and mostly blind so she sleeps a large portion of the day. She will sniff other dogs but that's the extent of her socializing and she will mostly just ignore guests. My girls and I love animals and your dog would feel like part of our family! Your dog would go on daily walks and if they're comfortable in cars, running my errands with me and my girls! We have an extra crate if your dog wants to sleep there or they can sleep with us in our bed or with one of my girls.

About: I've been caring for pets since I was eight years old and my family adopted its first dog. Beyond the typical duties of walking, feeding, playing, and training I've performed for my personal pets, I also began walking dogs at shelters when I was in middle school, and continued to throughout college. Since graduating college a year ago, I've been hired to walk and take care of multiple dogs in my neighborhood, which I've done so joyfully. I am also a member of Trusted Housesitters, and have travelled around the country to visit new places while caring for pets. I have a variety of experience and am the biggest dog lover you'll probably ever meet! I currently work virtually, so am incredibly flexible and able to accommodate a variety of situations during my workday. This means I can work on both workdays and weekends. Furthermore, I am generally very flexible and have lots of free time, so chances are I'll be able to make something work! I will care for my client's pet in their home with care and love. I try to walk dogs I care for at least 3 times a day for at least 15-20 minutes - more if the dog is very active. I also make sure to fill the water bowl and feed the pups on time. I will also go outside to the backyard (if present) and play with the dog there. Because I work from home, I am extremely flexible and able to give dogs more attention than they might get at a kennel or other situation. Overall, I am extremely conscientious, and what's more, I am a genuine dog lover and am attuned to their needs. I will care for your dog with the utmost attention and love.

Willie unfortunately picked up a bug and the day after we left town I got a message of Willie throwing up and having GI issues. Tiffany helped adjust Willies feeding and diet to help with the GI issues and was easy to coordinate Door Dash delivery of the special diet. Tiffany was super responsive in communicating Willies status each day via texts and pictures. She has a private doggy park at her place that she took Willie out to explore and run around each day. “Outstanding Care! Finding an exceptional pet sitter for your furry family member is not easy so we felt incredibly fortunate to find Jared. He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free.
