About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds. I have owned dogs and cats, currently I have one deaf chihuahua, Dotty, and one senior chihuahua, Mickey. My home is a stand alone house in the District with a fenced in yard. We also live nearby Rock Creek Park for plenty of walks and hikes. My two daughters will ensure that your pet gets plenty of attention. I work remotely from home so someone is always in the house at all times. I have a fenced in yard, and a water cooler for pets to drink from. There is always plenty of water, toys, and we live nearby Rock Creek Park so there is ample opportunities for walks and hikes. I can walk your dog or you can leave the dog at my home.

About: I am probably just as obsessed with your pet as you are. I have been caring for pets since I was 7 years old and had my first cat. I have experience foster senior cats and dogs, special needs pets, and pets who carry trauma (fear of loud noises, shy, unpredictable behavior, etc.). I can bathe and trim nails as needed. I also have experience in potty training and crate training puppies. I currently work from home part time, so my schedule is very flexible and I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet I will play, walk, feed, and even just hang out with your dog(s). I know it’s very hot out right now, and I am very aware of dogs overheating and needing a little bit of extra monitoring on walks because of this. I don’t have a car, but I have used uber/lyft pet many times and I have no problem rushing them to the vet or ER in case of emergency. I can also brush, bathe and trim nails if the pet will allow me to without too much trouble.
