About: I have a lot of experience with animals of all kinds! I have worked at 2 shelters over the course of 5 years, walking dogs of all sizes and taking care of cats as well. I also learned basic medical care of animals, such as giving medications. I’m currently a PhD student on a brief leave, so I am free to walk or care for your pets during the day while you are away. Safety and comfortability of the animal is of the utmost importance to me. I love to get to know animals well, and learn how to cater to their needs!
“Great sitter! I had my current sitter run out of town quickly and Madi was able to accommodate me fairly last minute. I got great updates and photos of my kitty while she was there! Thank you so much! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Jill was so great! She had to find my hiding senior cat and give her oral meds, and she managed both, sending pictures along the way. We are thankful for Jill’s help and would be happy to book with her again.”
“She was amazing she kept us updated with our dog. Great communication. As well as very flexible. Would definitely recommend and use again to watch our dog”

“Alex was great! She did a video call to prepare for checking in my dogs all week. She is really organized and on top of things. She did a great job with our dogs!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with three dogs of my own, one Australian Shepherd and two Shelties, all girls. My oldest is 9, and we have been hiking and training together since she was a puppy. I take my dogs on daily walks, and they have joined me on hikes all across the United States. They love being active and spending time outdoors just like I do. All of my dogs are leash trained and off leash trained, and I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at once with experience handling up to six dogs at a time. I work from home Monday through Friday and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I take my own dogs on walks during my lunch break and again after I finish work at 4 PM, and I would love to have more pups join us on our daily adventures. I live in Germantown in a home with a fully fenced backyard, providing a safe and comfortable environment for dogs to play and relax. I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, or just lounging around, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while staying with me. My home is very dog-friendly, and I treat every dog like part of the family.
“Abbe is awesome and very personable, and if any changes need to be made as far as scheduling, she is more than happy to do so. And she is amazing with my cats! Will be using her again in the future.”

“Kate is wonderful! She took the time to meet with us beforehand and was so helpful in accommodating our traveling schedule. Our pug, Roscoe, was very calm and happy when we came home. I also enjoyed the updates she gave me while I was away! We will definitely be contacting Kate again and highly recommend her!”

“We are repeat customers and always feel great leaving our senior cat in Amy’s care. She’s very reliable, goes above and beyond, and gives our boy the extra attention he needs with twice daily insulin shots.”

“Really sweet, my dog isn't really the type to let a stranger take her away from me but she went slow and let mika control his fast things went. I'm in hospital and can't walk and the charge nurse had told me the nurses couldn't feed and water her and I couldn't get out of bed so the fact that she was here to help in like an hour really meant alot For sure book her, especially if the baby has a little attitude when it comes to if she will go off with a stranger lol”

About: Hi, my name is Darian! I’m 31, and have been caring for dogs since my childhood. Most of my experience is with pit bulls and other large breeds, that may be considered “aggressive” breeds, though I don’t believe any dog should be considered aggressive based on their breed. I currently own a small dachshund with a big attitude and even bigger personality! He’s my little buddy, and I promise to treat your pet like they’re my own. I also offer nail grinding services, and bathing services! I’m available most evenings after 5pm, for those that need help while you’re running errands, working night shift, or just need an extra hand with evening pet care. I also have open availability on Sundays. My currently availability is: Evenings after 5 pm Open availability on Sundays I’m happy to take your dog on evening walks, or a Sunday stroll! You can also schedule a drop-in visit, where I’m happy to bathe or trim nails upon request. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, or walks in your neighborhood to keep your pet as relaxed and comfortable as possible! I prefer meet and greets or phone calls before providing care, to get to know your pet’s needs and personality.
“Macy was absolutely amazing with Arlo during her check-in visits at my home! Arlo can be very timid, shy, and nervous with new people, and Macy handled him with so much patience. It meant a lot to see him warm up and let his sweet, fun personality shine through. She was always prompt for every check-in, incredibly responsive, and sent wonderful photos and detailed updates that gave me total peace of mind. Even with a busy weekend, I loved seeing each update come through and knowing Arlo was comfortable and well cared for in his own space. Macy truly made my first Rover experience such a positive one, and I would absolutely love to keep her as Arlo’s sitter for future needs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and compassionate sitter. 🐾💛”

“Cait is the BEST!! She went above and beyond for our pups. She sent my husband and I updates after every visit. We will definitely be using her services again if we ever need someone to watch or check on our dogs. We are so glad we found someone who loves our dogs as much as us!”

Hannah has been an incredible help in settling in with my puppy. She has provided such good care and has been so communicative every step of the way. She even popped in last minute to help so that I could get a little extra time to enjoy a much needed day out. I highly recommend her!

We have a 5mo puppy at home, we have relied on friends up until this point to let him out. We were so nervous to move away from friends and hop on rover. The transition was flawless thanks to Taylor! She is diligent with routine instructions, engaged with our pup, and has even befriended our grumpiest cat. We saw her out in the neighborhood and our pup lost his mind when he saw her (the truest testament). We already recommend her to our close friends, couldn’t recommend her enough to you all! Thank you, Taylor!!!

Abbe is the best! My senior dogs love her. She follows all instructions well, goes the extra mile to make sure they pee and poop! Send lots of photos showing me the love she is giving them and you can see by the looks in their eyes that they love her right back. Highly recommend.

Ian was soo helpful when we left short notice for the weekend. He spent quality play time with our 9 year old kitty, Lola. She loves human time and he filled that cup for her while we couldn’t. He took care of her automatic feeder in the mornings and spent time outside and inside with her playing. This was exactly what she needed. We are so glad we found you on rover, Ian! Thank you so much for all your help. Lola already can’t wait for next time :)
