I'm Christina! After spending many years in the corporate world, I made the rewarding decision to turn my passion for animals into my full-time career. That experience taught me the importance of professionalism, communication and reliability —qualities I now bring to every pet and family I care for. Like many of my clients, my husband Scott and I love to travel, so we understand how difficult it can be to leave a beloved pet behind. After years of searching for someone we completely trusted to care for our own little Pomeranian, Juniper, I decided to become the kind of sitter I was always hoping to find. Looking for one trusted sitter you can use for years? That's exactly the kind of relationship I love building. My clients are often professionals who travel frequently, couples who vacation several times a year, or pet parents who have trusted me with their pets for years. There's nothing more rewarding than becoming the sitter they call every time they travel. My goal is simple: I want your pets to feel like they're coming to a second home—not a boarding facility. There is nothing better than seeing a dog run through my front door excited for another visit because they already know they're somewhere safe, comfortable, and loved. My hope is not simply to care for your pet during one trip, but to become someone you can confidently rely on for all of your future pet sitting needs. *In-Home Boarding* *A Calm Home Environment* Because our own pup Juniper is an 11-year-old, six-pound Pomeranian, our home is best suited for small dogs, senior dogs, and pets with calmer personalities or lower energy levels. While I occasionally welcome larger dogs, they are typically older, gentler dogs whose temperament and activity level make them a good fit for our relaxed environment and other pets in my care. If your dog loves all-day wrestling matches, rough play, or has the energy level of a puppy despite being fully grown, there are many wonderful sitters and daycare-style environments on Rover that may be a better fit. *Thoughtful, Selective Pairings* I believe every dog deserves to feel safe and comfortable during their stay. Rather than operating like a high-volume boarding facility, I intentionally keep the number of pets in my care low. I occasionally board compatible dogs together, especially long-term clients whose personalities I know well. Every pairing is thoughtfully considered based on temperament, energy level, size, and previous experience so that every pet has a positive, low-stress experience. *Full-Time Care* Because pet sitting is my full-time profession, I have the flexibility to provide frequent potty breaks, companionship, playtime, snuggles, and individualized attention throughout the day. Whether your pet stays with me or I visit your home, you'll receive regular updates and photos so you can truly relax while you're away. Because I'm home throughout the day, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods and become part of our daily routine while they're here. *Drop-In Visits* I also provide drop-in visits throughout East Nashville for families whose pets are happiest remaining in their own homes. Visits can include: • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks • Playtime and companionship • Medication administration when appropriate • Litter box care • Bringing in packages and mail • Watering plants *A Few Things to Know* I primarily serve East Nashville and also travel to surrounding neighborhoods for a small travel fee. For the safety of every pet in my care, I specialize in small dogs and dogs up to approximately 50 pounds. I occasionally make exceptions for gentle senior dogs. For larger dogs receiving drop-in visits or house sitting, I do require a securely fenced yard. If you're looking for a sitter for one trip, I'd be honored to help. If you're looking for someone to truly get to know your pet and care for them like they are part of my own family, I'd love the opportunity to meet you both and become a trusted part of your future travel plans.

Christina F.- along with her lovely furbaby and her apparent animal whisperer husband- is the absolute best dog sitter/caregiver. Selkie- our not always easy rescue chihuahua character- had a first stay that was beyond perfection. We've rebooked already and feel fortunate and relieved to have found our girl 's home away from home. Yay! Thank you so much, Christina!

Christina was great! My crew can be a LOT and they’re a bit quirky but she handled them well, and they were so happy and content when I got home. She even made friends with some of my less than social cats. Will definitely be using her again

Schedule

As a full-time professional pet sitter, I have a flexible schedule and am available for boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits throughout the week, including most weekends and holidays. Because this is my full-time career, I can provide frequent potty breaks, lots of companionship, and personalized attention throughout the day. I recommend reaching out as early as possible for holiday travel and school breaks, as those dates tend to book quickly. Many of my clients travel regularly throughout the year, so I encourage advance booking whenever possible if you'd like to establish a long-term sitter for your family. If your dates show as unavailable, don't hesitate to reach out. Depending on the circumstances, I may still be able to accommodate repeat clients or discuss other options.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my highest priorities. Because every dog has a unique personality, I intentionally keep the number of pets in my care low and carefully consider every boarding request. I occasionally board compatible dogs together—especially long-term clients whose personalities I know well—but I never introduce dogs simply to fill my calendar. Every pairing is based on temperament, size, energy level, and previous experience to create the safest and least stressful environment possible. My home is calm and quiet, making it especially well suited for small dogs, senior dogs, and pets who thrive in a more relaxed setting rather than a busy daycare-style environment. Since pet sitting is my full-time profession, I'm home throughout the day to provide regular potty breaks, supervision, companionship, and plenty of individual attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand the trust it takes to leave a beloved family member in someone else's care. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable from the moment you arrive until it's time to go home.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is a little different, so I tailor each day to their individual personality, energy level, and routine. My goal is to make their stay feel as familiar and comfortable as possible. The day usually starts with an early potty break followed by breakfast (if that's part of their normal schedule). Throughout the day, we enjoy plenty of outdoor time, playtime, snuggles, naps, and lots of one-on-one attention. Because pet sitting is my full-time profession, I'm home throughout the day, so pets aren't left alone for long periods and have frequent opportunities to go outside. Some dogs love to play, while others simply want a cozy place to relax and watch the world go by. I enjoy getting to know each pet's personality and adjusting their day to what makes them happiest. I intentionally keep my home calm and never overcrowd it. If there are other dogs visiting, they are carefully selected based on compatibility, and I always prioritize a peaceful, low-stress environment where every pet feels safe and comfortable. In the evenings, everyone settles in together for more cuddle time, potty breaks, and a relaxing night. My hope is that every pet leaves feeling like they spent time with family rather than simply staying somewhere while you were away.

The more I know about your pet before their stay, the better I can make them feel comfortable, safe, and at home. I love learning about each pet's unique personality and routine, so please don't hesitate to share as much information as you'd like! Some things that are especially helpful include: • Their daily schedule (meal times, potty routine, bedtime, etc.) • Favorite toys, games, and activities • Sleeping preferences (crate, dog bed, couch, your bed, etc.) • Comfort items such as a favorite blanket or toy • Any fears or anxieties (thunderstorms, fireworks, strangers, separation anxiety, etc.) • Medical conditions, medications, allergies, or dietary restrictions • Energy level and exercise preferences • How they interact with other dogs • Any behaviors you'd like me to know about, such as resource guarding, door darting, counter surfing, or escape tendencies • Commands they know and any training cues you regularly use No one knows your pet better than you do, and I truly appreciate every detail you can share. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible so they feel comfortable, confident, and loved while you're away.
