About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. I don’t mind changing litter boxes and have a good system for my own cats so they always have a clean litter box. I often house & cat sit for my sister, who travels a lot. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Her cats usually have different food needs and feeding schedules so I know how to separate cats who need different care. I don’t mind clipping nails, except one of my sister’s cats who won’t have it. I know how to transport cats and work with "difficult cats”. I produced several “Pet Care” series for HGTV, the DIY Network and TNN television shows, working with experts and veterinarians, including Dr. Craig Prior, owner of the Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular vet in Nashville. He was also my personal vet for both my dogs and cats. I am retired so am available for any days and times. I also like taking photos and videos which I can share with clients so they see how their pet is doing.

About: I have worked with animals for the past 19 years. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in animal science and have worked with many different species from young to old. My work experience ranges from general practice and emergency room veterinarian clinics, an animal shelter to the Knoxville zoo, and 7 years in animal agriculture. My love for all animals runs deep and through my experience I am able to administer medications, perform CPR, and just understand animal behavior all together. I personally have had two dachshunds of my own from young rescues to 17 year old seniors.

About: We both grew up with pets and have long volunteered with animals, including dogs, cats, and small animals. We have a 4.5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a 5-year-old, 7 lb Chihuahua/Min Pin mix, who both love other pups. We also have two cats, Beans and Whiskers, who usually keep to themselves. We're experienced administering medicine, working with shy pets and overly energetic ones, and giving all of the best scratches! At least one of us works from home each day, so your pet will have company all day, plus plenty of time to play in our securely fenced yard. For dropping in, I work from home and have flexible work breaks, so I am available to care for pets near lunch time, after the work day is over, and during weekends! I understand the love we all have for our pets and the need to be extremely cautious with them. I am a careful leash walker and will respect all of your household boundaries with your pet. Pets don't know what is best for them so we have to!

This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is A-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.

It was a full house, but I loved every minute of it. About: I’ve taken care of animals of all size and kind for over 10 years. My own miniature dachshund and frenchie, as well as my family and friend’s pets who I care for as my own.
