“Niki was great! We had to book last minute before we left to visit family and were so relieved Niki could help. She even came by for a quick meet and greet right before we left. Definitely will book again in the future.”

“First time using Rover and now I’m hooked thanks for Laura! She took the time to come meet my dog prior, and then provided the best updates when I was gone. Thank you so much - you helped ease any anxiety about being away.”

“Sarah was great! Amazing communication and notes and made me feel at peace that my cats were taken care of while I was away. Will definitely be booking again :)”

“Amy was great! There were difficulties on our building's end with access, but she was so communicative and worked to navigate the issues. Our little man appreciated her visits, and we would be happy to have her watch him again.”

“Ellen is my go-to Rover whenever I have to go out of town. My kitties love her and she always takes the time and effort to capture many great photos and leaves a thorough visit summary. Highly recommend!”

About: I have experience as both a dog sitter and watcher on Rover, but had to take an extended break due to work, however, now that I have time again I would love to help take care of your fur baby! I am currently taking a break from the corporate world so have a very flexible schedule and am happy to take your pup for long or short walks or do longer or short house visits. Anything to make your pup as comfy as they can be when you are away! I have experience dealing with senior dogs with mobility, incontinence, and cognitive issues. I also have experience ensuring any bully or flat nose breed dogs do not overheat during the hot Nashville summers. I will always keep your baby on a leash and only provide treats if allowed (but will always provide praise and pats).
“She was amazing she kept us updated with our dog. Great communication. As well as very flexible. Would definitely recommend and use again to watch our dog”

“Heather is the real life Mary Poppins! Ellie absolutely adored her. We switched plans and Heather was very responsive and accommodating. 100% recommend her!”

“I have a very skiddish cat so for me to leave her with Hannah and know my cat was comfortable enough to come out and get some attention while I was gone was very reassuring! My cat was well fed and well loved while I was traveling and I'm very appreciate to know I can trust Hannah to do it again!”

“Jill was a lifesaver!! I have a cat who is not friendly towards strangers and can get aggressive if she feels threatened. Needless to say, I was nervous to have someone come feed her while I was gone! But Jill handled it delicately and with grace (even when I gave her the wrong code to my alarm system and it went off ??♀️). I will not hesitate to book Jill again!”

“Macy was absolutely amazing with Arlo during her check-in visits at my home! Arlo can be very timid, shy, and nervous with new people, and Macy handled him with so much patience. It meant a lot to see him warm up and let his sweet, fun personality shine through. She was always prompt for every check-in, incredibly responsive, and sent wonderful photos and detailed updates that gave me total peace of mind. Even with a busy weekend, I loved seeing each update come through and knowing Arlo was comfortable and well cared for in his own space. Macy truly made my first Rover experience such a positive one, and I would absolutely love to keep her as Arlo’s sitter for future needs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and compassionate sitter. 🐾💛”

About: I’ve helped to care for dogs, cats, and more for friends and neighbors since childhood. My most valuable experience with dogs has come from volunteering at a dog rescue called Champs Chance in college. There I walked and handled dogs at events and transported them to vet appointments. It was there that I adopted my own dog, Mavis. I have handled dogs of many different breeds, demeanors, and sizes. I would love to provide the care that your pet deserves! I’m currently available during the week or on weekends to help out with your pet! Just let me know how I can help and I’ll be there! I am happy to provide some exercise and extra love to your pet(s)! I have some experience training dogs in the basics and am continuing to learn more, so I can help them to learn their leash manners if needed.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for 8 years and currently have a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd/Husky mix. I raised my Husky from a puppy, giving me experience with puppies, high-energy breeds, and caring for multiple dogs. I walk my own dogs every day and understand the importance of exercise, routine, and safe handling for dogs of different ages and energy levels. I work from home, which gives me flexibility to provide walks and care in the early mornings, around lunchtime when my schedule allows, and in the evenings. I walk my own dogs every day, so adding walks and drop-in visits fits naturally into my routine. Whether I’m walking your dog or stopping by for a drop-in visit, I follow your pet’s normal routine and tailor my care to your preferences. During walks, I prioritize safe handling, exercise, and making sure your dog is comfortable. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to provide fresh water, meals, playtime, potty breaks, and any other routine care your pet needs. I’m happy to provide photo updates if requested.
About: I have a knack for winning over pets, especially the anxious or nervous ones. I like to be a safe, unconditionally loving place for each and every one of them. I am a life coach, so I have a very fluid schedule with a lot of gaps. Care for animals easily fits into my schedule, or should I say, can easily match their schedule :) I treat your home (and your pets) as you would. There's a good chance your home would be even a little tidier after I leave. I want you to have the same, "ah, it's so nice to trust this person" feel I would want.

“Carlos was so great. I forgot to give him info for house access and he came back to walk my pup anyway once I could be reached. 11/10 service.”

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and my dogs have all lived very long and healthy lives. I’ve adopted them and taken in strays, including one that was pregnant and then had 8 very healthy puppies which we cared for, weaned and found permanent homes for. Several of my dogs have lived very long senior lives (21!) and I can give medications and special diets. I’ve also transported many dogs, large and small, to the vet. I take my dogs to the dog parks on a regular basis and have taken them on long trips too. I am available to dog walk and also watch them in fenced-in yards for potty breaks and play. I produced several “Pet Care" series for HGTV, DIY Network and TNN, including dog care segments with Dr. Craig Prior, owner of Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular and well-known Nashville veterinarian, who was also my personal vet for many years. I’m retired so I’m available all days and times. And I love taking photos and videos of pets and would be able to share updates for clients. I am currently retired and am available all days and times. I do volunteering on a regular basis but can adjust that schedule as needed. I also do freelance Marketing and Development including grant writing for nonprofits, on my own time schedule. I have a fenced-in back hyard for my own dogs but also take them on walks and to the dog park. So I would be able to walk dogs as needed. I also know about safety in a home, including keeping food, liquids, cleaners and materials away from pets. My own Beagle can get ninto things easily so I always put things up. My dogs do not use crates but I know how to crate dogs too.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - East End
Jill was a great communicator who took excellent care of our pets. We had a small emergency during one of her drop-ins (a busted garden hose) and she went above and beyond to help us out! Would recommend her to anyone and would absolutely use her for drop-ins again in the future.

We’ve used Connor a number of times while we go out of town. He’s consistently responsive, timely, and does a great job taking care of our cats. I’m incredibly appreciative of him and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets.

Sarah was positively amazing! She was so kind and attentive to Gus's needs and even thought of things that I (his owner) didn't think about. She went above and beyond to make sure that Gus felt safe and secure. She took adorable photos of Gus and kept me updated on him throughout our time away. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!

Amy was a wonderful sitter for our elusive cat, Neko. She was very respectful of our home, extremely communicative, and aware of his needs throughout our time away. She was also very helpful in giving us updates on our home while we were away - giving us peace of mind. We were very happy with Amy and will happily book her again when are away from our Neko!

I can’t recommend her enough! She watched my dog, Apollo, for four days while I was away, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time. Apollo can be a little hesitant with new people, but she was incredibly patient and took the time to earn his trust instead of rushing the process. Before long, they were absolute besties, and it was so reassuring to see how comfortable and happy he became with her. She followed every care instruction perfectly and truly goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs in her care feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I also really appreciated her daily updates and detailed feedback about how each visit went—it made being away from Apollo so much easier. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and Apollo absolutely adored her. I have no doubt he’ll be thrilled the next time he gets to spend time with her. I would trust her with him again in a heartbeat!
