“I have hired through Rover before but Allison was hands down the most communicative dog sitter. It was nice receiving frequent videos and thoughtful check- ins. She seems really in tune with dogs and their behavior and needs. Would be happy to hire again.”

“Laura was an outstanding host! Lots of pictures, videos, and updates. Friendly and responsive. My energetic puppy came home pooped after spending two days with her sweet dogs. Would recommend!”

“Emily was fantastic with Minnie! Her home is incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of beds, blankets, and a great backyard for play. Minnie stayed for one night, went on her walks, and I felt completely confident she was in good hands. If we’re ever back in Nashville, we would definitely book Emily again. Highly recommend!”

“Katherine was the best!! She made Koda feel right at home, snuggled with him, walked him, and got some good backyard play time in. I was very grateful that she took such good care of my nervous boy! Definitely will reach out again :)”

“Would highly recommend Margaret, she was very friendly and responsive, constantly sending us pics of our dog to make us feel comfortable! Would definitely use her services again.”

“He looked like he had a ball! This is our second time leaving him in boarding care and after 20 minutes of leaving I was no longer worried. Thanks for giving us a relaxing 10 day adventure and Jack will be back to play more.”

“Natalie made us feel at ease leaving our boxer, Elma, with her for a week. She has a large fenced-in outdoor area which was great for playing and exercising as well as a clean indoor space. Elma doesn’t play much with other dogs, but is chill with other chill dogs. Her and Natalie’s dog got along well, and we are keeping her bookmarked for when we travel next for sure.”

“Macy was incredible with my Winston. Always sent me photos of him playing with her pup and was always communicative. I would recommend Macy to anyone who would like a nice, caring dog sitter at a reasonable price. I plan to reach out to Macy for all my future dog care-taking needs.”

“John “Tre” was such a sweet sitter for Bijoux. Communicated very well, worked with us when we needed some flexibility and took great care of Bijoux. I would say he went above and beyond what we would have expected. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs through pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and extended stays in my home. Friends, family, and pet owners have trusted me to provide attentive and reliable care, whether that means feeding, exercising, grooming, or simply keeping their dogs company throughout the day. I love staying active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks around my neighborhood, Centennial Park, and the Vanderbilt area. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy staying active, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship for your dog. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. Long walks are one of my favorite activities, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I live in an apartment with access to a dog park within the community and several walkable areas nearby. I’m also close to Centennial Park and the Vanderbilt campus, which are great locations for safe, enjoyable walks. I have experience caring for dogs in my home for extended stays, as well as providing dog walking and pet-sitting services. During visits, I can provide exercise, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention to help your dog feel happy and secure while you're away.
“Madeline was a wonderful dog sitter for my little pup. I had never used rover before and my dog is very ~particular~ so I was nervous how he would do with someone new. She took amazing care of him and provided several updates so I knew he was having a great weekend! I would 100% recommend Madeline if you are looking for a sweet, reliable Rover to watch your pup!”

“Kirsten did a great job and our dog Juno was happy. She provided updates and pictures while we were on vacation which made us feel comfortable that our dog was having a good time. Will definitely book again! Thanks!”

“Tara was a wonderful sitter for our golden retriever. We traveled to the Franklin area with our family and decided last minute to find a sitter for our pup so we could explore the town and not worry about leaving him in the hotel alone. Tara gave him lots of love and snuggles and was great at communicating/ sending photos.”

“Dianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!”

“Marialejandra was fantastic with our Boxer, Ruby. She quickly responded to our initial request as well as all messages sent during Ruby’s stay. She was also very accommodating to our late evening pickup time, and I could tell that she kept Ruby active during her stay once we got home. I would definitely recommend her and board Ruby with her again.”

“Austin was incredible, and I would absolutely use him again! He sent me updates multiple times a day about how my dog was doing, pictures etc. He truly loves and cares about dogs, and is one of the best sitters I've ever used on Rover. Thank you so much!”

“Alexandra and Katya were the best I could ask for. They took Layla in an emergency situation and treated her with so much care. My dog had a lot of extra needs and they were so kind and caring. Cooked for her, and made sure she was comfortable. They also kept me updated everyday with pictures. I would choose them again in a heart beat. Thank you ladies so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“olivia was great. my dog looked happy every day through her updates and was very happy to see me when i got back. really appreciated she had a good bit of yard space that he could run around and get that energy out.”

“Whitney was incredible! We had her check in for daily visits with our cat Kirby while we were out of the country for two weeks, and she was dependable and timely, providing pictures and a written update each time she came. She even watered our plants for us. She was responsive, kind, prompt, and professional.”

“Jill’s experience and expertise with pet care and insulin injections are top notch. I highly recommend her. Tipsy and Houdini were so at ease with Jill’s calm and kind demeanor. They have been asking me to travel so they can spend more time with her and give her a 10 toe bean review!!”

“I have a very skiddish cat so for me to leave her with Hannah and know my cat was comfortable enough to come out and get some attention while I was gone was very reassuring! My cat was well fed and well loved while I was traveling and I'm very appreciate to know I can trust Hannah to do it again!”

“Tahreem did an amazing job. She met with me before hand and met Harvey and did an excellent job of loving on him and checking on him while I was away. Thank you, Tahreem! 🥰🥰”

“Macy was absolutely amazing with Arlo during her check-in visits at my home! Arlo can be very timid, shy, and nervous with new people, and Macy handled him with so much patience. It meant a lot to see him warm up and let his sweet, fun personality shine through. She was always prompt for every check-in, incredibly responsive, and sent wonderful photos and detailed updates that gave me total peace of mind. Even with a busy weekend, I loved seeing each update come through and knowing Arlo was comfortable and well cared for in his own space. Macy truly made my first Rover experience such a positive one, and I would absolutely love to keep her as Arlo’s sitter for future needs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and compassionate sitter. 🐾💛”

About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. I don’t mind changing litter boxes and have a good system for my own cats so they always have a clean litter box. I often house & cat sit for my sister, who travels a lot. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Her cats usually have different food needs and feeding schedules so I know how to separate cats who need different care. I don’t mind clipping nails, except one of my sister’s cats who won’t have it. I know how to transport cats and work with "difficult cats”. I produced several “Pet Care” series for HGTV, the DIY Network and TNN television shows, working with experts and veterinarians, including Dr. Craig Prior, owner of the Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular vet in Nashville. He was also my personal vet for both my dogs and cats. I am retired so am available for any days and times. I also like taking photos and videos which I can share with clients so they see how their pet is doing.
“Madi was so amazing with our kitties! She gave great updates and took such sweet pictures of our little goobers that made us to excited for her check ins! She even looked out for our outdoor stray cats ? Madi is quick to respond and very reliable. Highly recommend!!”

“Kavya was very responsive when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute for the Christmas Holiday. She came over to meet the kitties the same day I messaged her, and the kitties were immediately at ease with her. She took great care of them and I got photos while I was away. As a veterinarian, I am very choosy about who watches my pets. I would absolutely have Kavya watch my kitties again and also have her watch my dogs in the future too.”

“Athena was the absolute best! She took care of our cat, Babs, over a long weekend and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of her! She was always on time and went above and beyond on her visits. She sent lots of pictures and made sure she was well taken care of!!! Babs absolutely ADORED her and even cuddled with her, which is not something she usually does! 10000% recommend booking Athena!”

“Sydney did drop in visits for our cat for 2 weeks while we were out of town. She communicated extremely well and ultimately we had no concerns for the well being of our cat while on vacation. We were extremely pleased with her care and will definitely try to book her for any future trips!”

“Thanks Beth, always very accommodating for Honey. I needed you in a pitch tonight. I was delayed on my flight back Nashville and Beth helped us out last minute!”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Gracie had a great daycare day with Toni. Love getting the pictures of her snuggling with Toni too. We had an urgent situation with my air conditioner quitting working and was really happy to be able to have a nice place for Gracie to spend the day.”

“Great communication, patient with our small dog. Lots of walks and updates! I couldn’t recommend Robin enough. We will always use her when we are in town.”

“Charles Barkley had the best time! I got so many cute photos and I felt like he was treated like a king. He didn’t want to get off the sidewalk to get in the car and go home! Thank you! Definitely recommend!”

“Excellent sitter! Great communication. She sent lots of updates and took great care of my dog. My dog came home happy! Would definitely rebook next time I’m in the area!”

“Carolyn was a fantastic dog sitter for us. Our dog Fillmore enjoyed spending the day with her. She was very responsive and provided great updates. I would recommend her to anyone and plan to use her again in the future.”

“Laura took great care of Alfie and updated us regularly with pictures and comments. He did great and is excited to be part of her “pack” again in the future!”

“Katherine was great, she was so nice and Benny seemed so happy and relaxed after he left her house. She took him for a walk, and sent updates and photos. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! We are Saori and Jonathan. We love pups and hope to take care of yours. Jonathan grew up caring for his family dog, and we have regularly taken care of friends' dogs for 10+ years. We finally adopted our own rescue dog in 2020 (an adorable little Beagle named Alfie), who has taken a *very* long time to come out of his shell. We have a lot of experience working with professionals to improve Alfie's anxiety. That experience has taught us a lot about reading dog body language and the importance of creating an environment that makes nervous dogs more comfortable. Your dog will get that same loving, calm energy here. We strive to make our home a dog-friendly location safe for every dog. Saori works part-time from home, and therefore has a lot of flexibility to play with your pooch and spend quality time together! On a typical day, we take dogs for a walk on the quiet neighborhood streets, on the trails in Shelby Bottoms, or in the dog park (if they are up for it). On weekends, we like to take a longer walk on trails whenever we can, and have plenty of cozy downtime at home in between. Given our own dog's separation anxiety, someone is always at home. If we ever need to leave them alone, we will let you know. We have fenced-in front and back yards where your pup can enjoy a sniffing adventure, playing fetch, or sunbathing on the lawn. We have dog beds throughout the house, and our canine guests are allowed on any furniture. We do not crate our dog, but can keep the same routine you have at home and let your dog sleep wherever they are most comfortable. We feed our dog twice a day and can accommodate other schedules or feeding dogs separately.
“Margaret was wonderful with our baby, Lily. We got photos and a good report on the day. Handling over Lily to Margaret felt natural and i could sense her expertise with animals just by handing off the leash. Very happy.”

Calm energy, reliable routines, and great care guaranteed. Quick weekend getaway? Running out of town on a last-minute notice? 2 week Vacation? Just reach out and let me know what dates you need covered and I’m your guy! Buster has proven to be a good hang for any dog. You can ensure that your dog will not be bored or bothered! From long walks by the river to movie nights chilling on the couch, my spot has proven to be a great place to host your pup. Send me a request and I will be quick to respond! I understand that leaving your pup with a complete stranger can be a bit nerve-wracking. Especially if your dog has any specific needs. Worrying about how your dog is doing while you’re out of town is the last thing need to be concerned about. I will make sure to set up a meet-and-greet prior to your pup’s stay to ensure that trust is established and that you are comfortable and confident in the decision to book with me 🤙 I can work around whatever your needs are! My job is flexible and I can work from home. You can guarantee that your dog will be given proper attention and exercise throughout the duration of their stay. Safe, dog-proofed home in an apartment complex right by the riverwalk with lots of dog-friendly accommodations. Will follow your exact routines and needs. And of course, daily photos and updates!
About: Hi everyone, I’m Bre! I tried Rover briefly back in 2022 before becoming a full-time foster dog mom. I’m excited to give it another try! I work a normal Monday-Friday office job but I work next door to my apartment community! So I can walk over to take dogs on walks multiple times a day. My fiancé works from home so he will be there all day as well. Pets are my favorite roommates! I live in a beautiful apartment community that’s full of dogs. I do have permission to dog sit from management! Dogs are welcome to free roam my apartment
About: Hi! I'm Allison, and as a devoted dog mom myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pup with someone new. My goal is to make both you and your dog feel as comfortable as possible by providing a calm, safe, and loving home while you're away. I recently moved back to Nashville after spending seven years in Denver. Before that, I cared for dogs through Rover here in Nashville and was fortunate to build relationships with many wonderful repeat clients. I'm so excited to have the time and space in my schedule to welcome dogs into my home again! I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. My dog, Birdie, is an 8.5 lb sweetheart who loves making new friends but is just as happy spending the afternoon snoozing beside me. Because we live in an apartment and enjoy a quieter lifestyle, I exclusively board small dogs (open to medium if we sound like a good fit!) who thrive in a calm environment. Every dog is different, and I want to keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether they have a favorite toy, specific feeding schedule, medications, or little quirks that help them feel at home, I'd love to hear all about them. Birdie takes a nightly pill, so I'm comfortable administering oral medications and am happy to keep up with your dog's medication schedule while they're in my care. Birdie is crated when I’m not home, but if your dog prefers to free roam that is totally okay. I'll treat your pup with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. If you're looking for a peaceful home where your dog will be cared for like family, I'd love to meet you and your pup! Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine! I work from home, so I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, potty breaks, and individualized attention throughout the day. My dog, Birdie, and I enjoy a calm lifestyle with walks when the weather is nice, lots of downtime, and plenty of cuddles. I'll do my best to keep your dog's routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only board small dogs (medium dogs are welcome if we seem like a good fit!) so everyone has plenty of space to relax, and because I work from home, they'll be supervised and have lots of companionship throughout the day. I take time to learn each dog's routine, preferences, and any medical needs so I can make their stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. My goal is for your pup to feel like they're staying with family, not just a sitter.
About: I’ve had dogs in the house all of my life and grew up taking care of my neighbors dogs as well. I have experience with dogs ranging all over from 5 lbs to 80 lbs! Most of my experience is taking care of a labor doodle and cat pairing where I managed both their schedules and needs accordingly! :) Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine, and I prioritize consistency, attention, and making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I build my schedule around regular feeding times, fresh water, exercise, and quality time, whether that means walks, playtime, or just being present and attentive to their needs. I genuinely enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine and treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m always respectful of others’ homes! If there is an alarm system I’m happy to set it or inform the owner of every entrance/exit so the owner can set it in order to ensure the safety of their pet and belongings!
“Absolutely! I cannot recommend Angeli highly enough! From the moment I entrusted my beloved furry friend into their care, I knew I had found someone truly exceptional. Angeli demonstrated not only a genuine love for animals but also unparalleled professionalism and dedication. They went above and beyond to ensure my dog's comfort and happiness, providing daily updates and photos that brought me immense peace of mind during my time away. Their attention to detail, reliability, and compassionate approach set them apart. My dog returned home visibly content, a testament to the fantastic care they received. Thank you, Angeli, for your outstanding service!”

“Could not have asked for a better first experience using Rover! Lara was incredible, I have nothing but great things to say. She really went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This was the first trip I’ve gone on in a while where I was not concerned about how my dog was doing back home. She would give me constant updates and send me pictures letting me know just how much fun they were having together. I will 100% be letting her watch over my dog in the future. 10/10, highly recommend!!!!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have had four different dogs throughout my life, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, personalities, and life stages. When I was 10 years old, I started my own neighborhood dog walking and plant watering business, which taught me responsibility, reliability, and the importance of caring for other people's pets as if they were my own. I know every dog has their own routine and personality, and I enjoy taking the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention, I'll provide dependable, compassionate care and treat them like one of my own. I'll be starting graduate school at Vanderbilt this fall, so pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I'll be available after my classes to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to making it a regular part of my week while helping busy pet owners ensure their pets receive the care, exercise, and attention they deserve. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, or caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow your instructions closely to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I'll provide plenty of exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love and attention while treating both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own.
“First time using Rover and it was a great first visit for my Calle pup! Aubrey was in the time frame I requested and sent cute pics of their walk. Thanks!”

About: I’ve helped to care for dogs, cats, and more for friends and neighbors since childhood. My most valuable experience with dogs has come from volunteering at a dog rescue called Champs Chance in college. There I walked and handled dogs at events and transported them to vet appointments. It was there that I adopted my own dog, Mavis. I have handled dogs of many different breeds, demeanors, and sizes. I would love to provide the care that your pet deserves! I’m currently available during the week or on weekends to help out with your pet! Just let me know how I can help and I’ll be there! I am happy to provide some exercise and extra love to your pet(s)! I have some experience training dogs in the basics and am continuing to learn more, so I can help them to learn their leash manners if needed.
About: Hi! I’m Macy – a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I raised my own pup, Teddy, from about week 10, and that experience taught me patience, intuition, and how to build trust with animals.A few summers back, I cared for my sister and brother-in-law's dogs in Atlanta—a sweet Cavalier and a high-energy German Shepherd—which meant managing very different needs and energy levels all day, every day. It was a full house, but I loved every minute of it. I have a large, secure backyard perfect for playtime, and I’m an avid walker and runner (half-marathon girly here!), so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. With a hybrid work schedule 1 day a week at home, I can give pets extra attention and companionship throughout the day. I treat every animal like my own, and I’d love to help give yours the same love, care, and fun they’re used to at home. I work from home on Fridays, which means your pet will have plenty of company and care throughout the day. I build in regular breaks to take dogs on walks, play in the yard, and keep up with feeding routines. Whether your pet needs activity or just a calm presence nearby, I’m here to make them feel safe and loved. Creating a safe, trusted environment is my top priority. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs, whether that means extra snuggles, space to roam, or a calm, quiet spot to relax. In addition to my WFH days, I’d love to welcome your dog for overnight stays—especially on weekends, when they can enjoy plenty of time outside playing with my friendly dog, Teddy, in the backyard. I'm happy to crate your pup or let them have free roam of the house—whatever makes them (and you!) most comfortable.
About: I am a true dog lover! I have had 3 dogs in my life and I am very comfortable around all breeds. I most recently had two yellow labs - both deceased - and I miss having dogs around. They both had vast medical issues, cancer, diabetes, etc. and I am very comfortable administering medication, shots, pills etc. if need be. My husband works from home and will be able to walk the dogs and play with them throughout the day. I will be able to stop at home during lunch to walk the dogs and play with them as well throughout the day. We are both animal lovers and would have a blast taking care of your dog(s) while you're away! We can't wait!

“I have hired through Rover before but Allison was hands down the most communicative dog sitter. It was nice receiving frequent videos and thoughtful check- ins. She seems really in tune with dogs and their behavior and needs. Would be happy to hire again.”

About: 16 years of experience — I’ll keep your lil nugget spoiled, fed, and safe, with calm care, attention, and everything they need while you’re away. I come home on my lunch break, and the neighborhood is great for relaxed, scenic walks. I make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and have everything they need. The neighborhood is very dog-friendly, with nearby parks and plenty of space for fresh air, sniffing, and happy little breaks. We’ll enjoy our time outside.
“Ritch and his family provided the most loving environment for Frannie. They were incredibly kind, communicated easily, and sent pictures. I was so relieved to leave her in such loving hands, surrounded by sweet kids! Would love for her to stay with them again.”
