“Logan has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Milo! His communication is excellent — he always keeps me updated with messages and photos from their walks, which gives me peace of mind. He’s incredibly responsible and caring, and it’s clear that he truly loves spending time with the dogs he walks. Milo is always excited to see him.”

About: Dog-walker, lover, care-taker here! I’ve always loved dogs from a young age and have been exposed to all breeds from the start! I have a rescue lab mix of my own, since 9 weeks old and also live with 2 pitties. I’m here to help with routine dog walks as well as check-ins, feeding, baths.. you name it. I work part time with a scattered shift schedule so my days are always different. What makes me unique with this type of schedule is that I can accommodate your schedule with the openness of mine. I am available most days of the week during the work day and most nights. Not only am I timely and punctual, but I am also full of energy and another human for your dog to interact with during a long work day. I make sure your dog is well cared for in the time that I have for them and take environmental factors into account (weather,etc.). O give extra attention to dogs every time I see them and take my time on walks if I feel they need more time.
“We are so grateful for Ashley taking care of our Baloo. 10/10 recommend her to everyone! She is punctual and flexible. Baloo looks forward to more walks and play time with Ashley :)”

“Derek was great with Jasper. He was able to assist us with walking him on short notice, and was very responsive and communicative. I would recommend Derek to anyone who needs their pup walked!”

About: I have pet sat for years and have my own fur babies at home. I'm in college right now and I'm missing them, so let me spend some time with yours! I am home on summer break. Besides a part time job, I don't have much else going on! This means I am able to spend so much time with your furry friends. Whatever instructions I am given is what I will follow. Not everyone is the same when it comes to their pets needs, so keep me informed and I can help us all feel safe and trusted!
“Gabriela was excellent! She was very responsive and our pup was in great hands with her! Our 7 month old puppy had a blast on her walk and we will certainly reach out to Gabriela in the future”

“Justin is the best dog walker I’ve had for my little Gia. She is American Pitbull Terrior who is so playful happy and sweet he helps get her energy out during the day while I’m at work. She does pull a little on the leash but Justin is really good about working with her on not pulling and a plus, he teaches her cool little tricks!! I would def recommend him to walk your dog!!”

My hope is that we can find something that fits for the both of us. I look forward to meeting you and your pet 😸 I have stayed at clients homes previously watching cats and dogs. I initially try to take the time for the pet to get to know me, once they are comfortable the I’ll take them for walks (unless otherwise told) and play with them. In the past I have slept on the main floor with older pets if they can’t do stairs. I try and make giving medications fun so hiding it in snacks or turning it into a game if I can. I try to make the pets time as stress free as possible while their parents are gone.

About: As a former vet tech. I am very experienced caring for fur babies of all shapes, sizes, and species. I have personal experience raising pets with special medical and behavioral needs and I know first hand how important it is to find reliable and competent care. I promise to treat your animals with the same attention, love, and dedication that I give my own fur family. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule which allows me to offer frequent visits, walks, and/or longer stays that many other sitters. Most of my work days can be adjusted to fit your pet care needs. For dogs: I can walk, help train, feed, and play with your pup to keep them happy and stimulated while your away. I am comfortable working with many behavioral concerns, including leash reactivity. My own dog is a reactive rescue so I am only able to provide services outside of my own home. For cats: I can provide play time and cuddle sessions as well as clean litter boxes, feed meals, and help with administering medication. About: Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! You clicked on THE absolute best pet-sitter you will ever find. My name is Amy, and I LOVE ANIMALS. I've had pets since childhood; dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, lizards, bunnies, fish, ferrets, and turtles. Most of my pets are rescued. I'm a great dog walker- I will take your dog for a lengthy walk, (or a slow stroll for my older clients) and I will provide him/her with attention, love, and affection. According to their needs, I can sit with your pet to offer comfort and companionship, or romp around on the floor or in the yard for exercise and stimulation. My visits can be tailored to your requests. I'm reliable, trustworthy, and committed. Your pet's health and safety come first. I will take pictures during my visits (or videos, if you'd like) so you know your pet is being cared for. If you have a cat, I will bring toys for stimulating activity, or simply sit with him/her and offer a comforting presence. I also care for gerbils, hamsters, bunnies, birds, and turtles. If you have fish, I will feed them, and give them attention. (Yes, I connect with fish.) I understand animals. I relate to them. I'm intuitive to their needs. And of course, I have great references. There is no better pet-sitter on the planet than me. I look forward to meeting you and your precious family member! I'm currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I can be flexible in the morning, afternoon, or early evening hours. If you need more than one visit per day, that can be arranged as well. I will show up with great energy, a calming presence, and toys to play with (according to your pet's needs.) I'm not like other pet sitters- I really spend TIME with your pets. I'm intuitive and understand their needs. For younger pets, I offer lots of play and exercise- stimulation is important! I'm physically fit and would be happy to walk your dog if requested. After the walk, I will sit with him/her and offer my affection and attention. I will refresh their water bowl, feed them, (if requested) offer a treat, (if requested) brush them, play with them, or simply sit with them and be a calming presence in their day. It all depends on your pet's needs. I cater to their behavior and energy. If you have other pets in your home (gerbils, fish, turtles, bunnies, birds, etc) I would consider caring for them during your vacations. All to be discussed and negotiated, of course. As you can see from my profile, I'm very accommodating and flexible, and I offer a wide range of services. For overnight visits, my rate reflects a time frame from 8pm-7am. If you need me to do day visits as well, please explain in the messaging section when you contact me.
“Connor is amazing. I have talked to him twice on emergency situations and both times he has been responsive and very respectful. He was punctual to bring my Frenchie out. He was very communicative to tell me how the day went. I would 100% recommend him and have him take care of my dog too. Thank you, Connor!”

About: With experience from my own pets, working at boarding facilities, and overnight pet-sitting, I have the experience needed to provide the best care possible. From insulin administration to walking cats- I have everything you need covered. Check out my TikTok to see if you like how I operate- a screenshot of it is in my photos. Summer I am open indefinitely! I am a substitute teacher, so during these months I have all the time for your furry friends whether it is for a week, two days, or just pop-ins for bathroom and play relief while you are working and doing other things. Want a vacation but all the boarding facilities need six months advanced booking? Give me a chance, and I'll make your animals my main priority and give more one on one care than a kennel could. From pets to walks to playing or snuggles- your pet's anxiety will be low as possible knowing they won't be alone all day. I'll even turn on soothing music for your dogs or turn on the Cat TV channel on YouTube before my department- nothing is too ridiculous when it comes to our pet's comfort. In a clients home, I aim to strive for total cleanliness and total satisfaction from your pets. I love to tire out any high energy pets and slow it down for older pets. After your pet is satisfied and happy and I have cleaned any litter boxes or outside business, then I will know I have done my job.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
