About: I have had cats my whole life- growing up there were times when we had up to four cats at once, I believe. I have a cat now, as well. I also have some experience walking and caring for dogs, though not nearly as much as I have with cats. I am always willing to learn, though! And I really love walking dogs, it's fun to see where they want to take you, and to have a little buddy as a person who already loves walking probably as much as dogs do. I am unemployed for the month of July (and the rest of June), so I've got lots of time to spend with your pets! Though I am relocating to the Arlington, MA area in mid July. I definitely want to closely adhere to any instructions given to me so as to provide the best care possible for you and your pets.
“Paul is AWESOME! We’ve been using his services for a few weeks now whenever we need him. He is available, flexible, communicative, responsible and our Pup loves him! So glad we found him! Highly recommend!”

“Logan has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Milo! His communication is excellent — he always keeps me updated with messages and photos from their walks, which gives me peace of mind. He’s incredibly responsible and caring, and it’s clear that he truly loves spending time with the dogs he walks. Milo is always excited to see him.”

Louca has given us so much hope for our little puppy’s future and we look forward to working with him again! Thank you Louca !!”

Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine as I prioritize early mornings, nights, and weekends for providing exceptional care. I am flexible with the amount of time dedicated to each pet, ensuring it aligns with the preferences of their owners. As I work full time, pet sitting allows me to indulge my passion while accommodating my professional commitments. Currently, I am unable to provide pet care services in my own home; however, I offer dedicated pet care in clients’ homes. When entering and exiting a clients’ home, I prioritize security by ensuring all doors are securely locked. Additionally, I take the time to check up on the pet periodically to ensure their safety and well-being. If there are any specific accommodations required for your pet, I am more then willing to discuss and make necessary arrangements.
About: I have pet sat for years and have my own fur babies at home. I'm in college right now and I'm missing them, so let me spend some time with yours! I am home on summer break. Besides a part time job, I don't have much else going on! This means I am able to spend so much time with your furry friends. Whatever instructions I am given is what I will follow. Not everyone is the same when it comes to their pets needs, so keep me informed and I can help us all feel safe and trusted!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. I own 3 dogs at home as well as working in dog shelters. I also have 2 cats! I’m currently a full time Animal Science student at Cornell University, so working on weekends is the best for me. Typically anytime in the day works for me but afternoon/evening is preferred! I always leash dogs especially when out in public just as a precaution as well as to respect others boundaries. One of my dogs at home is kennel trained so if needed I can put your dog in a kennel!

About: I've been around cats my entire life and currently share my home with two cats, Oscar Wilde and Dorian Gray. Growing up, cats were always part of the family. One of my most memorable experiences was helping care for a mother cat and her seven kittens after we rescued them from my grandmother's farm. Since then, I've cared for many cats with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. In addition to caring for cats, I've looked after dogs for friends and family, ranging from small Yorkiepoos to large German Shepherds. My experience includes walking dogs, providing daily care, staying in owners' homes for extended periods, and taking dogs on hikes and outdoor adventures to keep them active and engaged. I believe pets thrive with a balance of affection, play, consistency, and structure. Every pet has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one special while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am currently finishing my degree and preparing to start my professional career, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Outside of school, I help care for my nephews once a week and play volleyball a few times each week. Because my schedule is flexible, I can often accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including multiple drop-in visits throughout the day. I understand how important consistency and attention are for pets, and I'm happy to work with each client's schedule to ensure their pets receive the care, companionship, and routine they're used to while their owners are away. While I am unable to host pets in my home due to HOA restrictions, I am happy to care for pets in their own home where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. When house sitting, I make it a priority to follow each pet's established routine, including feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise, playtime, and any household rules. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. I also provide updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are being well cared for. In addition to pet care, I am happy to help with basic house-sitting tasks such as bringing in mail, watering plants, taking out trash, and helping maintain the home while you're away.

“I know I can always count on Laura to take amazing care of my pups! She’s always on time, communicative and I know my dogs are always well cared for - I can’t recommend her enough! :)”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
