I take safety seriously and follow these practices: • Secure leash handling and controlled walks. I do not do on-leash greetings with unknown dogs nor bring them to the dog park unless requested. • Monitoring for signs of stress or discomfort. I am well versed with dog’s body language and will closely monitor pets for communication. •Clear communication about any concerns. I communicate clearly throughout the service to make sure your pets are well taken care of at any given time. • Respect for your home and property if I am providing care there.

Before caring for your pet, I would love to get all the details to make sure I can give them the best experience: •Daily routine- feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits •Personality- shy, energetic, cuddly, anxious, independent, etc. •Preferences - favorite toys, treats, games •Triggers- fears, reactivity, separation anxiety, things to avoid •Social comfort- how they do with other dogs or new environments •Health needs- medications, allergies, mobility issues •House rules- furniture rules, crate training
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about fun, comfort, and keeping your pet’s routine on track. We start the day by either playing in a fenced in yard (if applicable) then going on a walk around the neighborhood. After, I make sure your pet gets breakfast and some play and snuggle time. Throughout the day, your pet gets plenty of attention, mini-adventures, and mental stimulation depending on the pet needs - sniff walks, toys, or cozy naps. You’ll receive photo updates and your pet will feel loved and right at home.

Hi! I’m Michelle and I have been caring for pets since 2019 - all throughout graduate school and beyond - and I truly enjoy working with animals. I am also a dog mom to a Lab/Weimaraner mix rescue so I completely understand how important it is to find someone who treats your pet like family. I aim to give every pet specialized care and attention as I give my own. My pet care experience: • 6+ years caring for dogs and cats • Comfortable with puppies, adults, and senior pets • Experienced with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, high energy breeds • Strong communication habits - I send regular updates and photos so you are never left wondering how your pet is doing

Loved receiving all the pictures! Cami was stressed and wary of strangers, but Michelle eventually won her over with treats and perseverance. Quick replies and asks good questions. A lifesaver for a last minute trip!
My dog Wyatt was watching out the window, when he saw Michelle get out of the car he ran to the door to greet her! He absolutely LOVES his walks with her 🐾😁
Once again Michelle has exceeded my expectations! She has won my nervous dog’s trust. She is very caring and loving with Nellie. I really enjoyed my trip because I knew Michelle was taking good care of my dog.
Michelle is amazing with our three senior dogs. One is deaf, one is stubborn, and one is very excitable, so it’s definitely not an easy group to manage. She handled them all with patience and care, and after her first visit we felt completely comfortable.
