About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with professional experience working in veterinary care, as well as previous experience walking dogs. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and energetic adults to seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. I especially enjoy dog walking because I love getting outside, giving pets some enrichment and exercise, and seeing how happy they are afterward. Of course I’m here for the puppy kisses and cuddles too! My veterinary experience has given me experience with a variety of pets and their individual needs, including administering oral medications and topical medications. I also have personal experience caring for a deaf dog, so I understand the importance of adapting communication and care to each pet. I’m comfortable walking dogs up to 100 lbs and have some basic training knowledge that I can incorporate into everyday interactions. I believe consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement go a long way. My goal is to provide dependable daytime walks and drop-in visits while giving your pets the same patience, attention, and affection I would want for my own. I’ll treat your pets like individuals, respect their routines, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I have spent the past 2.5 years dog walking under companies in Boston. I now work at a vet clinic as a receptionist. I miss spending my time outdoors and the hands on experience I gain with dog walking! I have experience with dogs with special needs (deafness blindness and some medical issues). I also have basic experience with training and dogs with behavioral difficulties. I have learned a lot about body language throughout the years and love to get a dog’s brain working on a walk to make it more enriching. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I’m also comfortable administering oral and topical medications when needed. Before caring for a new pet, I like to learn about their personality, routines, triggers, and anything else that will help me provide safe and comfortable care.
“Justin is the best dog walker I’ve had for my little Gia. She is American Pitbull Terrior who is so playful happy and sweet he helps get her energy out during the day while I’m at work. She does pull a little on the leash but Justin is really good about working with her on not pulling and a plus, he teaches her cool little tricks!! I would def recommend him to walk your dog!!”

“Tori took care of our Duke who is a 115 pound Labradane for the first time. We had a great meet and greet, she was very knowledgeable and accommodating to what Duke needed, she took great care of him. She was on time and responsive letting us know how Duke did. He enjoyed his time with Tori. We will definitely be using Tori's services again. Thank you again Tori for helping us out and being so kind our our biggest baby Duke😊”

“Rileigh was awesome. I had to make a last minute scramble for a walker and she came through for me. I was very impressed with her natural affection for Findlay and will definitely call on her again.”

About: From social to skiddish, cuddly to aggressive, I really have a soft spot for any kitty I’ve gotten to know and taking care of them is second nature to me. Most recently, I’ve lived with a very sweet and very spicy cat Sasha, so patience has been key! For the past few years, I have taken care of an incredible golden retriever named Frieda in Southern Vermont. She is nearly 13— we go on twice-daily walks, I brush and trim her long fur, and I make sure she's comfortable around her two kitty relatives in the house. I will be happy to provide this care for your dogs as well, meeting them where they are at in terms of walking, socializing, and other kinds of care I can provide. I am new to Worcester and beginning a graduate school program at MCPHS. I have both remote and in-person classes, but will have ample time everyday to make room for cat care! I am extremely patient when it comes to pet care and I know that it may take time for your pets to warm up to me. I have a warm and gentle presence that will make your kitties and pups and other pets feel safe and comfortable. Much of my pet-sitting in past years has included house-sitting as well, so rest assured that your home is in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
