“Sue is wonderful! My dogs and I got to meet Sue and her dogs before she boarded them. She really is patient with my little dogs and understands their behaviors. One of my dogs is very anxious and barks a lot. She dealt with it well and realized he was just unsure of the environment. My 6 pound Pomeranian took a few days to warm up to her but in the end she did. Sue didn’t push herself on my dog and just let my pup come to her. She took special care to walk them and make them feel as comfortable in their new environment. Sue also took time each day to send me photos and texts so I knew they were ok. I have already booked her for two more weeks this summer. I recommend her with your dogs too. It is obvious she loves and enjoys dogs.”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! My dog has free reign of the house and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed but can also crate your dog if needed.

About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. “Melissa and her family were amazing hosts for our dog. Koe loves to be busy and this was the perfect house for him. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend and know he had a great time getting lots of activity, attention and love. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Major had a fantastic experience with Viki. I’m pretty sure he was sad to leave her! She asked lots of questions to make sure he acclimated quickly, and sent pictures and updates throughout his stay. Major doesn’t love the bigger boarding facilities, so this was perfect for him. We will certainly be sending Major back to Viki when we travel!”
“Erica is exceptional. Firstly, she was available to watch my dog, Luna, in a last minute pinch (for a week). Not only was she available on short notice, but she took GREAT care of my dog. I have a female Japanese Akita; not the easiest breed to handle. Erica, however, handled her with good care and command. I felt very comfortable leaving Luna with her. Daily updates with photos/videos made my time away from her feel less worrisome. Would definitely use her services again!”
“Micheal was very communicative during the duration of my dogs stay, sent me updates and photos even offered grooming services at a very reasonable price. It was worth driving and hour and a half away for what I though would be just a small experience, but ended up a nice getaway for my dog. I would 100% recommend Micheal”
