“Vivian was the absolute best! I contacted her very last minute and she was such a big help. She came twice a day and always gave me updates on doobie and a whole lot of pictures. It was my first time using rover and I’m so thankful to have come across V’s profile! What was really nice of Vivian is that doobie loves to go up and down random apartments in the community I live in and she mentioned how doobie took her up and down stairs and I honestly thought that was so nice of her because I know doobie does that but she just let her be, 1000/10 for V, thank you!!”

About: Hello! My name is Alyssa it’s such a pleasure to meet you! ☺️ I came to rover because I wanted to try something new and hopefully meet new friends and help their animals! I am a nurse and I also love waitressing on the side. My time has recently opened up which is why I’m trying this place out! I’ve raised cats my entire life and I’ve been raising German Shepherds for the last 2-3 years. I’m experienced with caring for sick animals as my first German Shepherd was special needs and so my 10 year old cat named Nico. I’m comfortable giving medication and I know many tricks to administering it to those who like to spit it out haha! I’m experienced handling working breed dogs and love training them! I’ve also been told many times I’m a cat whisperer and seem to win over even the most introverted cats 🤣 Having the ability to care for others and animals is my biggest accomplishment and blessing! I look forward to hopefully meet with you soon!! My schedule has been recently freed up so I’ve been prioritizing training my dog and doing self care! Scheduling is currently very flexible for me and I’ll update here when things change! As you may have guessed my life is pretty crazy busy 🤣🤣 but I do thrive off of the busy schedule and love being productive with my time! When it comes to my shepherd and cats, a consistent routine is always something I always create around my schedule! Routine is very important for pets and they can be stressed without it! Feeding, nap, play, and bedtime I always strive to keep consistent within a reasonable time frame. This is also what i strive for when caring for someone else’s pets as a primary way to keep stress to a minimum for them. When it comes to working breed dogs like mine, I like to allow around two hours daily of walking, training, and play to fulfill their psychological and physical needs. When I am caring for another person’s animal, I also love to help out in other ways such as basic chores around the house during down time! Cleaning is very therapeutic for me and I always love to help out when able to! However I do respect any and all boundaries on whatever you’re comfortable or not comfortable with!

“Thank you”

About: Some people have photo albums full of babies and friends. I have a gallery of animals I’ve befriended—on sidewalks, in parks, on farms, and even in random parking lots. Sometimes I even go to the dog park just to hang out with dogs and soak up their joyful energy. My friends know I’ll stop mid-sentence to meet a dog. Provided the owner approves, I introduce myself, learn about the breed and its story, snap a few pics, and send a text introducing the pet to my mom, son, sister, and niece—like it’s breaking news. (They’ve come to expect this. It’s basically a subscription service now.) I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. When I traveled, it meant everything to me that the person watching my dog and cats would love them like their own. That’s exactly how I approach every pet I care for. Whether your dog is playful, shy, high-energy, or a couch potato, I’ll meet them where they are and treat them like family. I follow their routine, keep you updated with happy pics, and make sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for until you return. I grew up with dogs, and over the years, friends have entrusted me with both their homes and their beloved pets. Just this year, I’ve cared for: – Five sweet—but high-maintenance Chihuahuas (yes, all at once!) – Seven animals in one home: a high-energy Mexican street dog rescue and six cats (including three feral kittens and three indoor/outdoor adults) – A mature lab/retriever mix – And my beloved grand-dog 💛 If your dog boards with us, welcome to Camp Mimi! 🐾 Here, they’ll get a double dose of attention and affection. My love for animals started with my mom, who always had dogs by her side — first dachshunds (my aunt bred them!), and later, energetic border collies and loyal Australian shepherds. Caring for animals runs in the family, and at Camp Mimi, your pup becomes part of the pack. They will have a spacious yard, squirrels to chase, room to play, a pool to cool off in, and daily walks tailored to your pup’s needs—it’s like a dog’s dream vacation. Check out the Camp Mimi photos – you may want to stay here too! Not boarding? I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking at your home, with the same loving care and attention. I’m also a professional organizer and gardener, so I bring a natural sense of order, calm, and care into every space I’m in. Should you want me to stay in your home, I can be available for extended periods of time. You can count on me to keep your home and garden tidy, peaceful, and well-tended, just as you left them—or maybe even a little better. If you're looking for someone your pet will genuinely want to see again— I’d be honored to be a loving steward of your pet(s) and your home while you’re away. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I can pop in for a quick visit or spend time with your furry one(s). Walks, playtime, or whatever you need. How I Care for Pets in My Home At Camp Mimi — affectionately named after my mom, whose lifelong devotion to dogs inspired my own — your pet becomes part of the family. We offer a cozy, calm environment with room to roam, squirrels to chase, and even a pup-approved pool to splash in. I follow your dog’s routine closely — walks, meals, meds, naps — to keep them feeling safe and loved. We are home most of the day, so they’ll get tons of attention, snuggles, and regular photo updates from their stay at Camp Mimi. Bonus: We are home most of the day, so they’ll rarely be alone. 🐾 How I Care for Pets in Their Home When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I treat your space and routine with great respect. I keep pets on their normal schedule — walks, meals, meds, bedtime — and send regular updates with photos so you know they’re happy and safe. Whether they’re energetic explorers or sofa snugglers, I match their vibe and keep them comfortable while you’re away. I also bring a professional touch: I’m a seasoned house sitter, gardener, and organizer, so your home will be well cared for too.

About: I truly treat every dog like they’re my own! Whether your pup is a playful puppy full of energy or a sweet senior who just wants snuggles and slow strolls, I adjust to their pace and needs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I’m super comfortable with things like basic training, giving meds, and calming nervous pups. I love getting to know each dog’s quirks and making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease while you’re away. Plus, you’ll always get plenty of updates and cute pics:) Pet care fits into my routine perfectly! I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to give your pet the attention they need. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just some cozy cuddles, I make sure to fit it into my schedule to ensure your pet gets the care and companionship they deserve. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel loved and well-cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow any instructions you provide for feeding, walks, playtime, or specific needs your pet has. Whether it’s a lot of playtime or some quiet cuddles, I make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and secure while you’re away. I also take care to keep your home tidy and safe, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages to give you peace of mind!

About: I have been a veterinary assistant for over a year and I am currently in school to become a certified nurse/technician. I adore every pet that comes through the doors, and they all seem to warm up pretty quickly to me. I pet sit for family and friends time to time. I am on summer vacation from classes currently until the end of August. I do work Monday-Friday, 6 hour shift except Wednesday (10 hour shift ugh). I also work at least 1 Saturday a month. About: Ever since I was born I have lived with two pets. More recently, my parents bought a dog two years ago. This time around, I was a much bigger part in their upbringing (including training, feeding, all of their walking and exercise, playing, and just overall loving) because my parents traveled much more due to me and my siblings being older. My boyfriend and I always joked that he was almost our own dog! After moving out in December, I adopted my own dog in early February due to the heartbreak of missing my parents pup, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. Our home is filled with so much more love and happiness since growing our little family. Other family meme ers (including my brother with his Akida) and friends have used me to dog-sit as well. Nothing would make me happier than to allow my little Theo to make new friends, while bringing love to pups when their parents need some extra help! Other than teaching a few yoga classes a week, I am an at home mathematics teacher. I get to make my own hours, and my pet and yours will always come first. I have a fenced deck with a 2 x 4 ft grass pad for potty time. My dog loves it! We still try to take 2-3 walks per day with mom and 1 with dad to ensure proper exercise. We also have a fenced in dog park and tennis courts where we take leashes off so we can all run around freely together! My pup (and yours!) staying safe, happy and healthy is always at the forefront of my mind. :-)

Kimberly H.
“Kim is like a 2nd mom to our rescue pup Lucy. She has stayed at our house to care for Lucy many times. When Lucy sees Kim she starts wagging her tail so hard it looks like she's about to take off in flight. Kim takes her out for many walks, takes her to visit her fav dog places, and treats Lucy likely better than that she gets when we are home and working. We SO recommend Kim to anyone who wants there pet responsibility, and lovingly cared for PLUS Kim leaves our house looking better than it did when we left.”
