About: 🇺🇸 Army veteran with a heart of service and a passion for family. Proud mom of two spirited 8-year-olds and companion to my loyal canine, Simba. I serve part time in the army national guard and I'm taking classes at TCC. I have flexibility to assist with walking or doing drop in on your fur baby! I enjoy walking because it great exercise for myself and your companion. 📚💪🐶 Book me to walk your loveable fur baby! I start early about 6 am to walk Simba. Than drop my kiddos off at 8am and my hours start with walking my clients dogs in order. On weekends I sleep in until 8 am and walk my dog and my other clients dogs. Pretty simple day. I currently reside in a three bedroom apartment so I am not offering boarding services at this time, due to my space being so small.

“Amber was kind and took care of my cat when I was away. She alerted me when the auto-feeder was over-feeding and also gave my chicken treats even though it wasn’t part of the arrangement. She brought my packages in too and offered to visit my cat on the day I was scheduled to return if there was a change in my travel plans. I would recommend her to others.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (along with other species such as birds, fish, snakes and even a tarantula) since I was 10 years old. Pet care is my passion. I am highly adaptable to different personalities and have experience with various situations like elderly pets and new mothers with litters. I crate train, potty train, and play with pets as much as they'd like! I am also an active lover of walking– enjoying fresh air with your fur-babies. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule for anyone's pet care needs. In the event that I need to run to the store or handle a quick errand, I will return within an hour. I have a small fenced yard for lounging (weather permitted) and a friendly senior dog to help keep your pets company. I supervise pets regularly with their only alone time being within their crates if they're tired of interactions or if the owner prefers it.

“Nathaly was great! We really appreciated her stepping in so last minute. She looked after our 2 cats for a few days while we were gone and made sure to clean their litter and play with them each time. She was very responsive the entire time we were gone and sent the best photos and videos after each visit. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and whilst I don’t have experience from a professional setting, I feel like I’ve still learned many valuable skills. Your dog will be in good hands. And yes I have piercings, and yes I will baby talk your chihuahua. I’m working part time at a pizza place during the evening, so most of my mornings would be reserved for you! Evenings can be arranged though, if really needed. I’d bring your pup a slice but I don’t think they can have cheese :) Anything you don’t have, just let me know, I’m happy to bring supplies! Otherwise, your baby will be in safe hands, loved, played with, and kept on their routine like you never left.

“I had to leave my kitty home alone over the weekend for the first time ever, I was very nervous but Jason was very friendly and professional and put me at ease. He also bonded with her faster than anyone else she’s ever met! Definitely will recommend and if I ever need a sitter again, Jason will be my go-to!”

“Shelly is my go-to for help with my cats and turtle. She is very communicative and all around helpful. She even checks in with me to make sure I made home and that my pets don’t need any more care after I’ve had a long trip away.”

About: ***I've had several requests for last-minute sittings. I do require a meet and greet AT LEAST 24 hours before the beginning of the stay. I want to make sure your dog(s) gets along with mine before accepting the stay! Thanks :) I've had dogs my entire life and have a love like no other! I have a 7 year old lab and a 2 year old Lab/Border Collie mix. I will be happy to spoil your furbaby while you're out of town as well! I have a backyard with plenty of playing room. I work from home 4 days a week. On the days I'm in the office, I'm just a few miles away and come home at lunch for a quick play break with the pups. I also have a doggie door that allows the pups access to the yard at any time. I will treat your pup like my own while they are in my care. If you have special requests, I will honor them. Your pet can have free roam of the house or be crated - your preference!

About: We started hosting dogs as a family when we ourselves needed to board our pets but we’re uncomfortable with the idea of leaving them in a kennel. We found Rover and decided to open our home as well so others could enjoy the same quality of care, love and companionship we did. Since then, we all relocated to different areas so I took a break. Now that I am settled in Pittsburg full time, I figured there may be a need here as well. The separation alone can be hard on our babies so having a reliable and trustworthy person to look after your pet is of utmost importance. I have a small rescue dog named Roxy who is very social and has lots of "friends". She was found eating from a dumpster and is now a lil fatty with a wonderful spirit and the cutest personality. I have kept many dogs over the years (large and small breeds) and feel it’s more like a slumber party than a job. If this is your first time, don't worry, we can always do a meet and greet before the stay. I find it becomes more like a play date than a scary situation to both the owner and the pet. Even for the more timid dogs, I make the situation comfortable. With constant love and attention, I think this is a great safe place to leave your babies. If you have any questions, please let us know. Why I love dog sitting I actually didn't start enjoying dogs until I got one of my own. It was by default. My friend is a rescuer so I volunteered to help while she was working for a few days. The pup attached itself to me. Since then I have become so attached to animals that we ended up having two dogs and work at the shelter on the weekends. My oldest son has always had a passion for dogs and plans to be a vet so this experience is so beneficial to him and his future. We just love having them and giving them a safe, loving place to visit and play. Meet my pets We have two spayed/neutered rescue dogs, both very social and love to have friends visit. One is a medium breed, the other is a smaller dog. About my yard It does not have a fence all the way around but I have never had an issue with this. My schedule is very flexible as I own a small business and work remotely. I am also semi-retired so my company is less demanding of my time than typical scenario. I find crates work great for those who have not become extremely social yet. The safety of their “room” seems to relax them as they warm up to new surroundings.

About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.
