“Olivia was amazing, even after a technological issue the first day! This is only the second time I’ve left my fur babies, and was still nervous about leaving them, but Olivia’s updates through photos and comments for each visit helped ease my mind! She checked in, took them on walks, fed and played with them and even went above and beyond in cleaning up after they were messy in their food area! Thank you so much Olivia for keeping me updated, being patient and working with me that first day! I’ll be looking forward to booking with her in the future!”

“Jada has taken wonderful care of my babies. She sends photos with each visit and is easy to reach. I will definitely request her next time I need a pet sitter.”

“This is the second time Nathaly has watched our cats and was great again! She showed up each day, cleaned the litter box, and played with our cats. The pictures she took at each visit were the highlight of our day!”

About: We started hosting dogs as a family when we ourselves needed to board our pets but we’re uncomfortable with the idea of leaving them in a kennel. We found Rover and decided to open our home as well so others could enjoy the same quality of care, love and companionship we did. Since then, we all relocated to different areas so I took a break. Now that I am settled in Pittsburg full time, I figured there may be a need here as well. The separation alone can be hard on our babies so having a reliable and trustworthy person to look after your pet is of utmost importance. I have a small rescue dog named Roxy who is very social and has lots of "friends". She was found eating from a dumpster and is now a lil fatty with a wonderful spirit and the cutest personality. I have kept many dogs over the years (large and small breeds) and feel it’s more like a slumber party than a job. If this is your first time, don't worry, we can always do a meet and greet before the stay. I find it becomes more like a play date than a scary situation to both the owner and the pet. Even for the more timid dogs, I make the situation comfortable. With constant love and attention, I think this is a great safe place to leave your babies. If you have any questions, please let us know. Why I love dog sitting I actually didn't start enjoying dogs until I got one of my own. It was by default. My friend is a rescuer so I volunteered to help while she was working for a few days. The pup attached itself to me. Since then I have become so attached to animals that we ended up having two dogs and work at the shelter on the weekends. My oldest son has always had a passion for dogs and plans to be a vet so this experience is so beneficial to him and his future. We just love having them and giving them a safe, loving place to visit and play. Meet my pets We have two spayed/neutered rescue dogs, both very social and love to have friends visit. One is a medium breed, the other is a smaller dog. About my yard It does not have a fence all the way around but I have never had an issue with this. My schedule is very flexible as I own a small business and work remotely. I am also semi-retired so my company is less demanding of my time than typical scenario. I find crates work great for those who have not become extremely social yet. The safety of their “room” seems to relax them as they warm up to new surroundings.

“My original plans for a pet sitter fell through at the last minute. Not that I would ever recommend what I ended up doing, but Shelly really came through for me. She was extremely patient in communicating with me through the app once I hired her. I was literally in the process of working from home and packing after having worked 12-hour shifts out in the field for my job. The day I flew out of town, was a crazy-busy day and trying to communicate with everyone I needed to before I left was a challenge all its own. But again, Shelly was so professional. She sent me pictures of all my pets while I was away. The cats definitely enjoyed her company. Because of her help, one of my cats didn't miss a beat when I took her to the vet today. The vet staff commented on how laid back and easy she was to work with. -This goes to show how good Shelly is with pets. After having a stranger take care of my pets for just over a week, they were not phased by the vet.”

About: 🇺🇸 Army veteran with a heart of service and a passion for family. Proud mom of two spirited 8-year-olds and companion to my loyal canine, Simba. I serve part time in the army national guard and I'm taking classes at TCC. I have flexibility to assist with walking or doing drop in on your fur baby! I enjoy walking because it great exercise for myself and your companion. 📚💪🐶 Book me to walk your loveable fur baby! I start early about 6 am to walk Simba. Than drop my kiddos off at 8am and my hours start with walking my clients dogs in order. On weekends I sleep in until 8 am and walk my dog and my other clients dogs. Pretty simple day. I currently reside in a three bedroom apartment so I am not offering boarding services at this time, due to my space being so small.

About: I’ve been taking care of pups since I was 12 years old. I also had a passion and soft heart for animals. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized approach to each pet's care by helping them learn basic commands and socialize effectively, ensuring they develop good behavior from the start. I also have a strong focus on senior dogs, providing gentle care and attention to their unique needs for comfort and health. With a commitment to safety and happiness, I create a nurturing environment that gives pet owners peace of mind while they're away. I currently work part time at my local church in the children department. During the week I’m attending online school, during that free time i can definitely help pet owners who are in need of a walker. I live near high oak park great trail to walk the pups! I usually take mine everyday for their daily walks. I also travel to pantego dog park so my dogs can interact with others.

About: I’ve always had animals in my life, and usually more than one. I feel at home and comfortable with animals and they always seem to gravitate to me too. I’ve had a lot of experience with different types of care and grooming, and most messes don’t bother me at all. It comes with the territory! I just want your pet to be as comfortable and reassured as possible in your absence. This summer I’m working a very light schedule so I should be available at any time! I can start check-ins early in the morning, continuing until bed time. I like to announce myself when entering your home, to keep the anxiety as low as possible. I try to keep to their routine as closely as possible to keep pets comfortable. I try to use words and terms they know to let them know what’s happening next. Once they’re comfortable with me, I can match their energy level and play or cuddle, whatever they want. I’m committed to keeping their schedule and routine whatever it takes.

About: Hi!! I have been walking/taking care of animals for about 5 years now. Animals truly do bring so much joy so I would love to watch yours! I am currently a student in college studying mathematics. I have a pretty open schedule and am very flexible and will take last minute requests! I always make sure to leave the home looking exactly how it was or even better looking then when I arrived. If you have certain rules in place with your animal I will make sure to reinforce them.

“Jordan was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and was beyond pleased. Would highly recommend Jordan. We had a couple of schedule changes after the initial booking and she was very accommodating! Couldn’t be more pleased!”

About: I’ve fostered and pet sat animals of various species from ferrets, hamsters, turtles, birds, dogs and cats. I understand the worry a pet parent can have leaving their animal in the care of someone new and will do my best to update you and answer any concerns. I’m currently a college student studying for law so I will be firm about the days I’ll be unable to care for animals as I do not wish to give you a bad experience if I’m not fully prepared. However on days that I’m focusing on your pet they will have my full attention and care. The afternoons are my most free but I will have days I can do mornings. I will ask for a walk before setting up an appointment that we both through of any specific concerns or routines I would need to know along with normal habits your animal exhibits. This will be so I do not over stress you if I’m unfamiliar with your pets behavior or desires as some animals have their quirks.

About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.

“I have known Lauren since she was a young girl! She has always been a lover of dogs and was raised with adopted dogs that she loved and cared for. She has gone on to foster dogs for several years and has been a champion promoter for pet adoption. My family has had the pleasure of having her come to our home and stay with our dogs and cats many times over the past several years and she has provided the love and care we give our animals each time.
