About: NJ Residents. I've been around dogs my entire life, including Labradors, Beagles, and Labrador mixes. Right now, I share my home with a 97-pound Labrador retriever named Hunter, an orange tabby cat named Flash and a black tabby named Bear. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I'm comfortable walking, feeding/fresh water, administering medication, and showering your furry friend with love and attention. I'm an elementary school teacher with summers off, so I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday. Weekends can be arranged if needed. Please note, I won’t be available the week of July 21st, as I'll be out of state on vacation. Your furry companions are my number one priority. I grew up with a cat as child and always been drawn to animals. My house is pet friendly and is a three story row house with a fenced in yard, on a quiet block. About: Leanna and I have had dogs all of our lives. We have a dog name Gus now. He’s an Australian cattle dog. He’s very active and sweet. We have taken care of a few dogs while their owners were on vacation. We absolutely love it. A dogs unconditional love is the best feeling. You could have the worst day ever but a dog can make you smile for that moment. We are familiar with giving dogs medication. I had a dog that suffered from seizures and I had to medicate her twice a day. Matt works as a nurse full time. 12 hour days 3 days a week. Leanna works full time as well in the medical field. About: Hi! Little bit about me :) I had a chihuahua for about 15 years so I understand what it takes to care for dogs at all stages in life. After my dog passed, I adopted a 8 month old puppy back in Nov 2022. Being a doggy mom is amazing and I love having a furry companion! I love going out on walks around the neighborhood and letting my dog meet new and old friends. I work from home Monday through Wednesdays but have a very flexible work schedule so i can scheudle a Rover job anytime during those days. Weekends I have availability as well. At home, i am typically always within view of my dog so she is never really alone. I use a camera in the living room to keep an eye out if I have to leave home or be in the basement etc. If it's a puppy or senior dog I am more likely to be attentive and be more by their side. For an adult dog, I'll give them their space and keep a consistent schedule to take on walks. I like to feed my dog healthy veggie treats throughout day and do some reinforcement training or give interactive toys to mentally exercise her.

About: My name is Torie. I've had cats, dogs, birds, you name it, all of my life. I have had the joy of working as a dog bather/groomer for 12 years. We always keep our home clean without debris on the ground to avoid pets eating anything they're not supposed to (ours especially loves eating random things which we now are keenly aware of and are proactive about preventing). We work very hard to feed meals separately and to ensure proper potty breaks are taken. We understand accidents happen so they are always cleaned up immediately and we redirect outside with positive feedback to help reinforce training. When we visit homes, we ensure that it remains clean and we strive to leave the home exactly the way it was from when we arrived.

About: Hi! I'm Melissa! A little bit about me. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats. Since the moment I was born, I was raised alongside dogs and cats and at one point in my childhood we had three large breed dogs and 2 cats at once, so fun and crazy! This always nurtured my deep appreciation for animals from an early age. One of our family dogs even had three litters of puppies during my teenage years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes. Today, I have my own dog in my own family home, a 76 pound English Coonhound rescue from Arkansas. Despite his high energy levels, strength and tendency to pull on the leash, I handle him confidently and independently. I adopted him through Philly Rescue Angels Inc., where I am also an approved foster. Family and friends have relied on me for years from a young age to let out, walk, feed, and play with their dogs whether it be when they need help on short notice or go on an extended vacation. In addition to my experience with dogs, I’ve had cats throughout my life and have fostered them as well. One of my cats even needed daily insulin injections for diabetes and I always handled that myself. My background has given me a well rounded understanding of animal care, and I take pride in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate, and responsible care for all of your pets! Since I am a nurse, I also understand most medical conditions and medication administration and precautions for pets as well, they're more similar to us than we realize! I am a registered nurse whom only works 3 days per week. I am quite flexible in my schedule and can move around my days easily if requested! I have a fenced in yard. I have a friendly dog to play with your pup! And an extra large crate if you need your pet crated at all. Pets are allowed on furniture in my house as well!
