About: I have been a lifelong lover of all animals in every shape, size, and species! I grew up with a dog and cat and now I have my own dog and 3 cats! I did long term pet sitting for two years while in college and now I’m ready to return full time! Animals have always been my passion in life so I cannot wait to meet yours! I also previously worked in a vet clinic so I now have knowledge in animal handling, grooming, administrating medication, and a basic understanding of common pet issues/illnesses. Fitness is also a passion of mine so I would love to take your pets on fun, long walks around the area! I am also a portrait photographer on the side so you are guaranteed to get good photos of your beautiful fur babies! My own dog, Mateo, has always been a spirited pup to say the least! About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

Grace was wonderful with my dog, Blue. Blue is 65 pounds and still has puppy energy and Grace handled that very well. Grace sent me many pictures during her visit with Blue which was really nice to get. She even made sure to change the TV channel for her since she doesn't like loud noises and the TV had switched to something with a lot of loud sound effects. I would and will book her in the future to take care of my sweet girl.
Allie was amazing! Our cats warmed up to her immediately, even my shy girl came out to play with her. She did an excellent job and went above and beyond to communicate with us. Plus we always received the cutest pictures! Gave us such a peace of mind while away from our fur babies!

We feel so fortunate that Tabitha was available and willing to care for our cat while we were away on an extended trip. Our cat can be somewhat ornery and unsociable toward others. Tabitha completely understood and actually had our special girl “talking” to her and coming out to greet her on a few occasions. We received daily photos and updates, which put us at ease. Once we returned home, it was obvious that Tabitha put great care into not only V but also our home. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to have Tabitha care for V again in the future.
Jian looked after my cats for two weeks when I was on vacation. She did absolutely amazing job and my cats loved her so much. Oliva is a dog whisper, and a true animal lover. She is gentle and patient with your animal, has alot of knowledge about different dog behaviors and great instincts on modifications if needed. Olivia is very dependable and a great communication. She is to talk to if your schedule changes or your pets needs change. She goes above and beyond and really forms an instant connection withe your dog/ cat. My dogs knew when it was time for her to come take them for there walks, they would be waiting by the front door for her like clock work. My two dogs bonded with her on the first day and it really warmed my heart. Olivia is honest, caring, and a true angel .I will definitely be recommending her to others and be using her again.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
