“Grave was fantastic! She walked my Bugsy while I was recovering from a medical condition, and she did great! She always let me know when she was on her way, and helped me with him when he split a toenail on a walk! Bugsy loved seeing her every day and went with her every time, with no issues! She even carried him a few times when he needed it!!”

“Joanna was fantastic! She took such good care of our pups. Provided great updates after visits and pictures. We are visiting Louisville from out of town and knowing she was able to check in on the dogs gave us piece of mind. Would definitely book her again next time we are back.”

“Shaine took care of a feral cat that I have been caring for over the last eight years. Feral cats choose people not the other way around. It was obvious from how close this cat came to Shaine that she is good people. I would recommend Shaine for simple or complicated pet sitting needs.”

“Michael was great for my dog, Crockett, and 2 cats, Malibu and Ruth! He was very responsive to any questions I had and took extra time to play with Crockett while he was here, and was careful about not letting the cats slip out (which I warned him that they may try). His pricing was great and he was able to accommodate 4 days of check-ins on pretty short notice. I’ll definitely be hoping he’s available next time I’m booking through Rover.”

About: Ever since I was little, I've had a deep passion for caring for animals, treating every pet like my own family. I am dedicated, patient, and experienced in providing attentive, reliable, and loving care for pets of all personalities and needs. I’ve been walking dogs in my previous neighborhood. I’m excited to meet new furry friends! I currently have full-time availability, which means my schedule is completely flexible. Because pet care is my main focus right now, I can easily adapt to your pet's exact routine, feeding times, and exercise needs without any rushing. I prioritize safety and comfort above all else by strictly following all care instructions, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring double-checked secure doors. I am attentive to body language, keep pets calm, and send regular photo updates so you always have total peace of mind.
About: I have been a lifelong lover of all animals in every shape, size, and species! I grew up with a dog and cat and now I have my own dog and 3 cats! I did long term pet sitting for two years while in college and now I’m ready to return full time! Animals have always been my passion in life so I cannot wait to meet yours! I also previously worked in a vet clinic so I now have knowledge in animal handling, grooming, administrating medication, and a basic understanding of common pet issues/illnesses. Fitness is also a passion of mine so I would love to take your pets on fun, long walks around the area! I am also a portrait photographer on the side so you are guaranteed to get good photos of your beautiful fur babies! My own dog, Mateo, has always been a spirited pup to say the least! With that I have gained some knowledge with basic dog training. Have a puller on your walks? I can help with it! Need some help with basic commands for a feisty puppy? I got you covered! My goal now is to solely focus on providing pet care and start building my photography business! I am available anytime Monday-Friday but also open to weekends. I love a good schedule so I would absolutely love to have reoccurring clients! I absolutely care for your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it can be to have to leave your precious babies in someone else’s care but I promise to update you every step of the way! From when I arrive to your home, during the visit, and when I am leaving your home. If you have any questions during the visit I will be able to answer you right away! My top priority is not only your pet but also making sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
About: I've had dogs and cats in my house practically my entire life and have had the opportunity to watch friends' pets on multiple occasions. I have now been a part of the Rover Community for about 3 years. I am comfortable walking dogs, feeding and bathing and cleaning up after pets, as needed. I have a full-time job working 7 hours/day Monday-Friday so I am only available for weekend sitting services, unless your pet can be alone for long periods of time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns. I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking in client's home after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. These would include potty breaks, feeding, walking and bathing client's pets as needed. I am willing to stay overnight as well. I can not watch pets at my own house as my own cat does not do well with other animals.

“Carla did a great job with our cat, Tia. Tia is very shy and Carla brought her food to her when she wouldn't come out. Tia also requires pills and powders to manage a health condition which Carla handled with ease. Carla sent lots of updates and photos so we felt comfortable that Tia was being well cared for! We'll definitely use her again when we need a sitter.”

About: What sets me apart from others sitters? Well I don’t always sit. I get up and move around making sure your favorite gets the exercise they need and deserve. It’s important to me that I give my clients value. While pet setting I can also help clean and organize for extra compensation. I want you to return to your home and pet satisfied and unburdened. I spend the time to build rapport with your pet so that they are happy and healthy. We can look at each other’s schedules and see if it works. If it does awesome!!! Yay for Us. If not we can figure something out. I even have some friends on this app that I can refer. I can accommodate your pet in just about anyway that you need. You just let me know of specifications and I can assist them. Within means that is.

About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. My dogs are apartment dogs with a small yard, so we average about 5–6 walks a day. Walking, playing with, and loving on animals are genuinely some of my favorite things to do. My mission is to provide the best care possible for your pet while also making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have plenty of experience caring for puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, administering medications, animal hygiene, and more. I am comfortable around animals of any size, color, or breed, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. When I come to walk, play with, visit, or take care of your animals, I will dedicate my time to making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I love being able to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy while giving other people peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for. A little about my own pets: I have my Pittie, Bandit, who is 6 years old and a rescue. I also have Koda, my 3 month old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix who is also a rescue. Lastly, I have Loki, my 4 month old rescue kitten. They are my world, and I would treat your pets with that same love and care! I am a full-time online student at ASU, which means I am home most of the time and have very open availability. I am also very flexible and can often accept last-minute bookings I have a fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs! I also walk my dogs very frequently and don’t mind to add more to our walks. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and beds for playing, sleeping, and zoomies!

About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.
About: I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of space outdoors, perfect for the frequent pit stop and play time. Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience and attention I would want someone to give my own.
“She is one of the best sitters to watch over my cats, she immediately made sure to get to their comfort levels to take care of them properly. 💕”

“Kristen is always very professional and reliable. I have a 110 pound male pup who is unsure of most people when he first meets them. She knew just how to respond to him and now he loves her! My other pup is a fence jumper and she always makes sure she is on her cable. Kristen is quick to respond and always sends pictures and uses Rover Cards. She is extremely polite.”

Whether it’s playing, walking, or bathing, any way their wellbeing can be enhanced, I will strive to provide it. Because of my experience, I comfortable with dogs of any size and age. Over the years, the understanding that each fur baby is special and has their own speed the give their trust has been the corner stone when interacting with any animal. Whatever you want/need, pet bathing, walking, sitting, nail clipping, I am more than happy to accommodate. If you have multiple dogs, I am comfortable with up to 3 large dogs(100+), 4 medium dogs(50-99), or 6 dogs under 50 pounds at once. Additionally, I understand that life happens, and I am more than happy to ease your pain by offering my services with 0 advanced notice. However, I do have a full-time job so weekday activities after 7 am and before 4:30 pm will not be able to be offered if the care is required outside the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. If there are any questions, please let me know as I am always willing to jump at the opportunity to help any animal to the best of my ability. I have a full time job mon-fri 0730-1600. I can do over nights during weekdays, but will only be able to provide feeding and bathroom breaks around noon. My weekends are pretty open and I will be able to provide full time care and everything that entails It takes a lot to scare me off. I spent 3 years caring for an 80 pound dog aggressive dog and 1 year caring for a 100 pound dog aggressive dog. I am also comfortable around dogs that are aggressive/territorial as I understand the extra level of respect, prep, and understanding they require. It’s not their fault and often times it’s a symptom that can be fixed through gaining their trust

Absolutely the best!! She is a true dog lover anf treated our dogs like they were her own. My dogs took to her immediately trying to play with her during the meet and greet. Very detailed about each visit with pictures. Even rubbed oil on my dog who has back issues! I could go on and on about how pleased we all were with her care of our dogs and her communication with us. In every aspect she went above and beyond and stayed longer to care for them and walk them then expected. We shared her notes and photos each visit with other family members and enjoyed her commentary . Highly Recommend Courtney! Your pets will be in e collet hands

Isabella was so great with our Kitty! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures throughout our trip. She even made sure to provide detailed updates of Kitty's mood and behaviors during her visits. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips!

Breanna was absolutely wonderful with Cooper. She sent great pictures throughout the stay — Cooper looked happy, relaxed, and clearly loved spending time with her. She was always on time for walks and kept me updated without me ever needing to ask. Scheduling with her was easy and stress‑free, and she spent real quality time with Cooper, not just quick check‑ins. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Breanna for anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

Shaine took care of a feral cat that I have been caring for over the last eight years. Feral cats choose people not the other way around. It was obvious from how close this cat came to Shaine that she is good people. I would recommend Shaine for simple or complicated pet sitting needs.

Ian did an amazing job watching Crew while we were away. Throughout every step of the process he was communicative and exceptionally prompt! He asked great questions about our dog's care before we left and reached out to us while watching him with updates and pictures. When we met in person, it was clear Ian and Crew got along great. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
