I’m a huge animal lover and taking care pets always puts a smile on my face! I have had pets my whole life and have always had a strong love for animals. I have been exposed to pets with different types of temperaments and energy levels, and I feel comfortable caring for a wide range of ages and behaviors. I have been a pet sitter and dog walker for many families over the past few years for various cats and dogs. I currently have two cats of my own and in my spare time, I volunteer at the Purrfect Day Cat Cafe through the Kentucky Humane Society. I have experience administering liquid and pill form medications to both dogs and cats. In addition, I can perform baths and light grooming for dogs. I love walking dogs, playing with them, keeping them engaged and entertained, as well as giving them lots of love and attention. I have a big heart for pets and I'm eager and ready to be a companion for them when their owner is occupied. I currently work remotely in clinical trial project management, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I love being able to break up my day to help care for animals! I am happy to follow all specific directions regarding safety, in order to build trust with both you and your pet. Whether it is a specific method for obtaining the house key or setting an alarm, I can do whatever works best for you and your household to keep everyone safe.

Cats were happy to see us when we got home. Lots of rubs and purrs for the weary travelers. Marissa kept in contact and as usual did an outstanding job. One of the new additions is warming up nicely to her too!
Marissa did a drop-in visit for our two dogs and she did a great job! I felt so comfortable with her after our first meeting! Loved all the updates and pictures we received during the day. Can’t wait to use her again!
