About: I’ll admit it — I’m a relatively new member of the cat-obsessed club. Last year, we decided to foster kittens for the first time, and we quickly discovered that we are not very good at the whole “give them back” part. Two foster kittens later, we officially became cat parents. One of our kittens came to us as a medical foster when she was sick and needed some extra TLC. Caring for her through that experience taught me a lot about cats very quickly — from administering medications and monitoring how she was doing to learning that a tiny kitten can somehow take over an entire household. Watching her get healthy, come out of her shell, and eventually become part of our family was pretty special. Since then, I’ve learned that cats definitely have their own rules. Some will greet you at the door demanding attention, some want to play nonstop, and others need to conduct a thorough background check from underneath the bed before deciding whether you’re worthy. I’m perfectly happy with all three! I’ll let your cat set the pace and never force attention on a cat who would rather have some space. I’m comfortable administering medications, feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playing with energetic cats and kittens, and, of course, providing plenty of scratches and cuddles when requested by management. I’m also a pediatric ICU nurse, so following detailed instructions, paying attention to small changes, and staying calm when something doesn’t seem quite right comes naturally to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave a pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can also expect plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. I’m the kind of pet owner who wants photographic evidence that everyone is alive, happy, and not plotting my demise while I’m gone — so I’ll happily provide the same reassurance for you. I have grown up with animals and have years of experience dog-walking and pet-sitting for all kinds of creatures, from dogs and cats to rabbits and reptiles and beyond. I have experience administrating pills to dogs and cats. I also have experience with dogs that have seizures or epilepsy. I work part-time at the library so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. Otherwise, my personal work is remote and flexible. I want to know and respect the rules of your house, whether the dog isn’t allowed on the couch, or the cat is restricted to a certain amount of treats, and so on.
About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

About: I currently have 4 dogs and have a huge passion for animal care and keeping dogs happy and healthy. I love taking walks with dogs! About: A retired couple who love animals and are willing to care for younger dogs all the way up to seniors. We have two dogs in the home. I will provide a safe, clean, welcoming home environment for your furry pet family members. I have a fenced in backyard. I also live on a cul-de-sac so I can walk the pets safely. We are also on 8 acres so they will have plenty of space to play and explore. I provide regular photos and communication so that you have peace of mind while you are away. We would love to care for your furry family member at Serenity acres. Being a retired couple, we take care of our two dogs and our horse. We love being outdoors. Your pet will get a lot of attention and outside fun. Pets are taken out on a regular basis to explore our farm. We will keep them on leash at all times when they are not in a fenced area.
