About: I have done dog walking and house sitting for my neighbors for years. When I was a kid, I would run around and do it for free because I just loved dogs so much! I carry that love with me as I now have three dogs of my own to look after-a new puppy to train, a 6 year old, and a 15 year old. I have experience in training puppies and experience in caring for senior dogs. I have had a passion for this sense as long as I can remember. I love it! I am currently living at home for the summer, and I am looking to stay busy doing something I love! So, I will bend my schedule however it is needed in order to dog sit, dog walk, or however else I can help. Any day, any time. However someone wants me to take care of their pet in their home, I am open to anything. I will follow the instructions given, provide consistent communication and updates, and always ensure that the home is respected.

About: Hi, I’m Johanna! Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including those with special diets, medical needs, and activity restrictions. Because of that, I’m confident in providing both loving companionship and attentive care tailored to each dog’s unique needs. I share my home with my dog, Hank, who absolutely loves being around other dogs. He’s gentle, friendly, and always happy to have a playmate. Whether your pup is high-energy and looking for fun or prefers a calmer, slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My goal is to give every dog the same love and attention I would want for Hank. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or snuggles, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away. I currently work a hybrid work schedule so if you’d prefer me to be home while watching your dogs that can be accommodated. For the days that I do have to go into the office it is within 30 minutes and typically is only for 3-6 hours per day. Though I do not have a fenced in yard I believe in taking my dog Hank on multiple walks throughout the day to supplement this! We do have a grassy area across from our driveway that I love to throw his ball for him at so if your dog is good off leash there are ways to get exercise around. There is a dog park within 15 minutes of my home and I love taking my dog there and your dog can tag along if you’d like!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs all my life. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Nothing would make me happier than a chance to get to know your precious pets and care for them like they’re my own! I currently work full time but with flexible hours. Typically, mornings and evening visits are best during the week but my weekends are wide open. About: I recently retired early, sold my small business, and am excited to spend more time doing something that has always been a big part of my life - caring for and loving animals. I recently retired so my schedule is very flexible for daily drop-ins, overnight stays, walks, playtime, and cuddles. Have a last-minute trip or unexpected work meeting? I have the time and treats! With many years of experience caring for pets, I know that each is unique, with different personalities and comfort level with new people. I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is for everything to feel just as safe, calm, and familiar as when you are there. I follow your routines closely, keep your home tidy, and pay attention to all of the little things that help your pet feel secure. What sets me apart is that during my career, I traveled quite a bit and hired pet sitters to stay with my kitties and dog. I know, from a client's perspective, what was important to me and my fur babies. I will send you daily updates and photos (unless that's not your preference), so you and your pets can feel completely comfortable and stress-free.

“Elyse met up with us at it home to get a general lay of the land; to see what we needed and it turns out that she is a super wonderful woman. We had her come by to make sure our super shy cat, Anne Bonny, was fed. Now, I hardly see this cat and she loves me, but on day one, Anne Bonny was rolling over and letting Elyse rub her belly! I'm hoping that Elyse is available every time we need to go out of town!”

About: My family has had a dog that I’ve loved to take care of and spend time with since I was 8. Also I would take care of my family’s dog since friends’ dog whenever they were out of town as a kid. I’m currently back for the summer from college so I have lots of time to take care of pets both overnight and during the day. I won’t be able to take pets into my home but can go to the owners house night or day. If for any reason you don’t have a leash or dog treats or something along those lines I’ll be able to bring it.

About: I have to be honest, nothing really sets me apart from other sitters. I may not have all the experience, but I'm willing to learn because I wanna get 2 pets myself soon! I am working part-time right now, I am a full-time nursing student, and I usually love taking walks before or after a session. I'm always on the computer doing work, so what's stopping me from being a pet sitter as well? I do not have any pets at the moment. I previously mentioned that I wanted to get some pets myself (a Persian cat/Ragdoll and a cocker spaniel), so I'd love to learn more about them! I am a fast learner, so it won't take me long. About: I've had pets (dogs of all sizes, cats, fish) since I was 7. I currently have a dog of my own. I've trained her. I am always happy to watch, play, feed, bathe, and walk dogs. I am a stay-at-home dog owner, which means taking care of your dog is my main priority! Doggy day care and boarding is always available. I usually accept all dogs. I only refuse service if the dog has previously bit me and/or continued aggression. I have one very friendly female dog (spayed) who loves to make new friends and spend time with old ones. I keep dogs typically in the living area, uncaged. I only cage dogs if the owner requests it, and in a different room from the other dogs. I do have another helper (my fiance), as he also enjoys dogs very much. My walking route is usually around Glen Park, I change it up as needed to boost the adventure for your dog(s). **Water will ALWAYS be available and replenished for your dog(s). Food schedule based.**

About: Growing up with multiple dogs in the home, I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, dog dynamics, sizes, behavioral needs, and medical cases. I have been trusted by my neighbors and friends to care for their furry family members for over 10 years now, with 2 years of experience in a dog daycare setting. I will take care of your pups like they are my family. I work full time at the Animal Humane Society, with most afternoons and weekends off, and a lunch break that can be used to check in on your furry family. I have a car, and am also equipped with the basic care needs, aside from a crate. I clean up after any messes and make sure your family has everything needed before leaving.

About: I've had 2 dogs but am unable to have an animal of my own right now. I am a go-to sitter of friends and family for caring for their dogs and/or cats when they go out of town. I love taking care of animals! I'm currently working a hybrid schedule of Monday and Friday's at home. I am available to watch dogs/cats the whole week, but need to be in the office Tuesday - Thursday. So, if your dog can go a little over 8 hours between potty breaks this is no issue. I do work fairly close to home, so could come home on lunch break for a quick bathroom break. I live in a townhouse with a small, mulched front yard. I have a long leash that I can let dogs out on for quick bathroom breaks (I will be outside with them to supervise) . The neighborhood has sidewalks throughout and low traffic to take dogs on longer walks. Neighborhood is very dog friendly. Applewood Nature Reserve is also a walkable distance from my house (dogs should have tick prevention if you want them walked in the park). Longer walks would be up to 2 miles depending on your pets ability.

About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.
