About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

About: I'm an artist and designer living in Stillwater. I work full time for myself, so have a flexible schedule. I also am a must love dogs kinda gal, my past dog was a reactive / high energy and needed at least 5 miles a day of walking, we got our current dog, Gordy, as a puppy and he is a significantly lazier guy and would rather lounge on the couch all day. I'd love to find some dogs who need more walking and need to burn some energy. I'm very patient and have experience with puppy's, shy dogs, reactive dogs, and high energy breeds. I work full time for myself but have an extremely flexible schedule, so could make nearly any time work. I'm available each day from 7am-10pm. We walk our dog twice daily and make sure he gets in a good game of fetch. I love to go for hikes and adventures, also happy to just do a long winding walk through a neighborhood. Happy to adjust to whatever your dog needs. I have a lot of experience with high energy breeds and it's my favorite activity to wear them out. My last dog (who passed a few years ago) was reactive, so I have a lot of experience with how to navigate // work with dogs who need a little extra attention.

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats. Experience with both. We lost our dog in March so our house is feeling empty right now and would love to have your fur baby over to keep us company. I am also available for walks or drop ins in the evenings and weekends. I currently work full time, usually 8-4. I can come home on my lunch break for potty breaks. I only work 7 mins from home. I do have a 7 year old daughter that is in the home as well. We have a fenced in yard that is great for dogs to run. We also have a lot of windows and bird feeders for cats to sit and watch the birdies.

About: I have a very flexible schedule and I'm happy to be there for walks and potty breaks or house and pet sitting as-needed. Minnesota native. I look forward to hearing from you. I have a small dog of my own and I take her for walks as needed, although she has severe arthritis and needs daily medication and monitoring. I am accustomed to letting her out to go to the bathroom at least every 4-5 hours. She is my pride and joy, and I'll ensure your canine family member is treated with equal care. I also care for my mother's large dogs often and grew up with larger breeds. There are 3 dogs in my household already, so boarding your dog at my residence may be a challenge, but I have done it before with enough time for a couple meet and greets beforehand. I am more than willing to come to you for your overnight needs or for daily walks and playdates.

About: Do you need a trustworthy and reliable person to look after your beloved pet? Each pet has their own personality - and I adapt to what your pet needs. I am conscientious, animal-lover, non-smoking and trustworthy. I take great pride in walking, feeding and providing endless affection for your pet while you're away. I have a fenced in back yard for plenty of room for your pet to run and play. I am flexible in times and days and can correlate with your schedule. I currently have 3 cats in our home - and they all tend to be curious about the newcomer, but there has never been an issue. They tend to watch curiously - and then go about their own business. :) I look forward to hearing from you!

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Our family animals (dog, cats, goats, Guinea pigs, birds, lizards, and a pony) fostered my lifelong love of animals. As a dog sitter, I have experience working with many different breeds and personalities. I have worked at a cruelty-free animal shelter, where I walked dogs, provided playtime, and helped take care of their living spaces. I have experience dog sitting in my home and understand the importance of helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. When your dog is with me, they will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I am happy to take your dog on walks as often as needed and look forward to having a companion to play and cuddle with. On days I am not at school, I am at home, which allows me to give your dog my full attention throughout the day. I genuinely care about making every dog feel happy, comfortable, and secure, and I will treat yours as if they were my own! I am currently a doctoral student studying Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and my schedule allows me to provide pet care throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I am on campus for part of the day, and Thursday through Monday I study from home, which gives me the availability to provide your pets with plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I live in a house with my parents. The upstairs level is my dedicated living space, which includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room area. Your pet will spend their time in this space with me! My parents have a cat that lives downstairs. They will not be living in the same space. We live on 4 acres, providing ample outdoor space for play, exploration, and exercise. We are located on rural road, which is great for long walks. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met. Very satisfied with the job Joel did for us!!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have had animals around my whole life. I’m patient, calm, and attentive, and my work with people on the spectrum has helped me understand different personalities, routines, and comfort needs. I love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently available most weekdays when I’m not babysitting my nieces. I spend a lot of weekends in the cities right now, but I’m occasionally available on weekends as well. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, park trips, or watching pets for a few hours at a time. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I pay attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, quiet time, or just keeping them company and making them feel loved while their owner is away.

I also have experience with potty training puppies, reinforcing routines and basic commands, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have worked professionally for years as a pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. This has given me experience and confidence in handling different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I also grew up homeschooled on lots of land, so pets have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because I was home during the day, I spent a lot of time helping with feeding, training, socializing, exercising, and caring for animals of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. Monday- Friday I am available any time of day all day. I am also available on weekends depending on the weekend, so please feel free to reach out and ask if the weekend you’re hoping for aligns with my summer plans. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos of their pet to update them on how they are doing. If the pets were in my home, I would do my best to make that temporary transition as smooth and as comfortable for them as possible. Whether that be bringing their own toys or bed, or letting them snuggle in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to. With my schedule being solely dedicated to pet sitting, your pet will never lack attention in whatever ways they need! Whether that’s endless walks and tug of war, snuggles on the couch, or just having a safe hand around to make sure they are picked up after.

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life and being in college far from home I don't get to see my dog as much so any chance to hangout with some puppies count me in! I have class Tuesday and Thursday morning and most nights, and practice from 1-4 usually but other than that I am free to come drop in or take dogs for walks! I always let them sniff me and get to know me, and I try to use a very inviting and calm voice when getting to know the dogs. I am used to having pretty big dogs my whole life so they don't frighten me and a lot of times they think they are the puppies!

About: I grew up with a wide variety of pets my whole life: dogs, ducks, chickens, and even a hedgehog! My love for dogs in particular is strong and rooted in my families history of owning them since I was a baby! We have dogs from all ages in our house- from senior dogs to just puppies, I am comfortable caring for any age and any breed! I work from home with very flexible hours so I am able to care for my pets diligently everyday without worry of potentially conflicting scheduling. My care typically involves feeding them, grooming them if needed, giving them their medication if necessary, play time whether that involves going on walks/runs, enrichment time, or practicing basic commands.

About: My family has had a dog that I’ve loved to take care of and spend time with since I was 8. Also I would take care of my family’s dog since friends’ dog whenever they were out of town as a kid. I’m currently back for the summer from college so I have lots of time to take care of pets both overnight and during the day. In a client’s home I respect your space and routines, lock doors and gates after every visit, refresh water, tidy any messes, and leave a detailed visit note. I use secure leashes and carriers as needed, offer enrichment (toys, games, gentle training), limit interactions with other animals unless approved, and monitor pets closely for signs of stress or illness.
