“Denise took great care of my puppy! She was able to come and let her out on short notice and did a wonderful job following care instructions?. I would definitely recommend her for the care of your fur babies!”

“LeAnn was very friendly and conscientious with our two cats. She came over before we left to meet them, go over the instructions, and understand where everything is and what needed to be done while we were gone. She spent enough time to play with both cats and give them some much-needed attention. We appreciated her pictures and updates on how the cats were doing. Both of them were comfortable with Leann and were very friendly with her. We are very happy with how she did and plan to use Leann again in the future as our primary cat-care person.”

“We were so glad Katherine could come back to care for our sweet kitty. She is a great support when we are out of town! Always communicative and thorough with updates. Definitely recommend!”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful Rachel is with ours dogs! They are both very particular about who they like and they both loved her right away. She is very reliable and was willing to take on the extra challenges with their health conditions. We’re so lucky we found her on Rover!”
About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have always had a soft spot for all furry friends. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and favorite way to spend the day, so I always take the time to get to know what makes them happiest and the most comfortable while away from their best friend! Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy naps, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your furry family member like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and I love taking pictures of these adorable, quirky, animals! My favorite thing growing up was to see picture updates of my dog while on vacation, so I will always do the same for my clients! Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I am working full time, but have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for, whether that means morning walks, midday potty breaks, playtime, feedings, or evening cuddles. I enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always take the time to learn their routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special preferences or instructions. In a client’s home, I treat both their pet and their home with the same respect and care I would my own. I’ll keep your pet company, make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and leave your home just as I found it. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I’ll provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where they can relax, play, and feel right at home. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can see how much fun your furry friend is having while you’re away!
About: Currently, I don’t have pets. But I watch my grand pup, Seina on a regular basis. She is a 3 yr old Parson Russel Terrier. I work in the mornings from 7am - 12pm. I’m usually home the remainder of the day. When I’m not home I have doggie cameras set up so I can check in on your dog. I live in a townhome. So I will take your dog for plenty of walks. They will receive lots of cuddles, love and special attention.
“Jackie was amazing with our pup! You can tell she really has a heart for them. Our rescue has anxiety issues , but Jackie took the time and patience that it took to make her comfortable. We highly recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and genuine love I give every animal. I have been pet sitting and walking dogs since I was seven years old, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I am the type of person who throws my own dog extravagant birthday parties, and I truly believe animals are family. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and fish, and I am comfortable with pets of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether that means being playful and active with younger pets or patient and gentle with senior animals, I adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I also understand how important communication and trust are when leaving a pet in someone else’s care, so I make it a priority to keep owners updated and give them peace of mind. I’m currently in a hybrid nursing program so I am home most of the week and I can be fully present for your pet’s needs! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat them like I would my own; with patience, love, and lots of attention. I will follow your routine as closely as possible so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their normal environment. Whether it’s sticking to feeding times, going on their favorite walking route, or just spending time with them so they’re not lonely, I do my best to help them feel well cared for while their person is away. I also make sure to be respectful of your home and leave things just as I found them. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your pet and be in your space, and I take that seriously.
“Gavin took great care of our dog, Luna, and my brother’s dog, Ike, over the holiday weekend. He was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups and would gladly book with Gavin again. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“I had a last-minute need and Ashley was happy to help. She is so patient with Max, and he loves his time with her. Ashley truly sees the jewel in each dog. We're blessed to have found her!”

About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

“I had a wonderful experience with Kiana! She took excellent care of my cats and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well looked after while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear they genuinely cared about my pets and paid attention to their individual needs. I came home to happy, relaxed cats and everything was clean and in great shape. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of my furry family!”

About: Hey, my name is Amy and I have a natural love for animals my whole life. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My 7 years of experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I have a dog named Cody and I’ve become known as the “Neighborhood Sitter” where I live because I babysit and dog sit for EVERYONE I know. I am very fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic and that all comes to life more when I’m around animals. I am currently working full time but my shifts are spaced well enough for me to be able to care for pets around my schedule. I am very loving and gentle with all pets and can be very outgoing and energetic while playing with them as well. I am very responsible and can manage any needs your pet may have.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 8 or 9, mostly family dogs to start. I have also house sat for not only family dogs but friends as well. I work at a doggie daycare facility currently, so I am familiar with dog behaviors and care. I currently work full-time in evenings, so that gives plenty of morning time for walks and cuddles. I am available for both boarding and daily care most of my week and always try to be flexible with clients. I love to have animals be as comfortable as they can be in their owners home, whatever that might look like. My goal is to make the clients and dogs as comfortable as possibly while building trust and good relationship.
“Tim was outstanding!! He was on time, had exceptional communication, and made sure to give my guy the extra love and attention he deserves!! I will exclusively be using him for any future services that I book!! 10/10!”

About: I have had a pet since I was born! Family dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc. As an adult I’ve had 3 dogs of my own - hopefully a cat soon. I work from home full time M-F. I have the flexibility to care for my own dogs + other pets as long as I have wifi 😀 Dog park!!! My pups love to go on walks and interact with new dogs. I enjoy being active with other pets but also taking in all the snuggles I can.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Hugo with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
